Megha Barsenge 4th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Talwar welcoming Megha and her family. Surinder and Ranjeeta compliment the decorations. Navjot tells Ranjeeta not to salute every senior person. Kripal mentions that it’s a big house and wonders if they look strange or too simple. Arjun asks if he’s lost his mind to think that way. Sikandar arrives and notices Riya. Arjun gestures for him to go over. Sikandar says he’s building a friendship with them and tells Kripal to hug him, declaring he is now his younger brother. He embraces Kripal and walks away. Goldie asks where the washroom is. Arjun tells someone to show Goldie the way. Riya accompanies Goldie. Arjun reminisces with Megha, saying, “Do you remember that day, Megha, when you first came to this house? I never imagined you would be here to become mine.” He gifts her a pair of earrings. Megha responds, “I agreed to this alliance for my dad’s sake; my mom was saluting your dad, her senior. You used your influence to win me over; I didn’t say yes out of my own desire.” She hands back the earrings and walks away.
Arjun receives a call. He tells the caller, “Nothing. She said she didn’t agree to the marriage willingly; I’m managing her.” Sikandar presents the engagement rings, and Megha and Arjun wear them as everyone applauds. Megha thinks about Manoj and her engagement, recalling his tortures. They seek blessings from everyone. Navjot announces a surprise: Goldie will dance for them. Goldie insists they should all dance together. Riya agrees, suggesting both Buas should join in. Navjot counters that Goldie always dances at weddings, and they are unfamiliar with dance. Goldie insists they will teach them. Ranjeeta dismisses the idea. Arjun tells Goldie not to dance. Goldie replies he will dance for his family because it’s a significant day for Megha. Navjot signals Sikandar. Goldie begins to dance, albeit awkwardly, to the song “Beedi jale le….” Arjun and the others feel uncomfortable. Talwar remarks that this isn’t necessary; it could make him the subject of ridicule. Navjot and Sikandar laugh. Megha approaches the DJ station, stopping the music. She says, “My Bua ji wasn’t prepared for this song, but she danced for my happiness. Thanks to her, I’ve learned to dance freely without worries. Now Bua ji and I will dance to this song as Navjot wishes.” Arjun beams with pride.
Megha goes to Goldie and declares they will show everyone their style. Megha and Goldie dance together to the same song, earning applause from the audience. Navjot signals to Sikandar. Shagun appears tense. Arjun watches Megha dance with a smile. Suddenly, the lights go out, and Megha gets frightened. She imagines Manoj’s presence and screams. Arjun reassures her, “Megha, it’s me, Arjun.” She cries out, “Let me go; Manoj is here, and he wants to kill me!” Everyone becomes anxious. Arjun tries to soothe her, saying, “I understand; calm down.” He asks them to turn the lights back on and encourages Megha to relax and drink some water. Navjot grins. When the lights come back on, Megha expresses her gratitude to Arjun. Goldie suggests they should leave. Ranjeeta agrees, saying she will inform Talwar and Shagun. She adds that it’s late, and they should go now. Suddenly, Shagun screams and rushes downstairs, leaving Arjun in shock.
