Megha Barsenge

Megha Barsenge 28th September 2024 Written Update

The episode starts with Goldie and Surinder getting angry and asking Megha to call Arjun to confront him about Navjot. Megha agrees and says Arjun has to explain everything to her. Meanwhile, Talwar taunts Arjun, asking him what he plans to do now. He points out that Arjun lied in the Georgian court and questions how he can handle other cases for women while this mess with Megha lingers. He advises Arjun to think carefully, mentioning that he’ll meet him at home. Talwar asks, “What’s that girl’s name again?” and Arjun replies, “Megha.”

At Arjun’s home, his mother is performing aarti. Megha arrives and accidentally bumps into her. Arjun’s mother scolds her, and Megha quickly apologizes, bending down to pick up the fallen laddoos. Arjun’s mother coldly tells her to leave it, explaining that her son doesn’t eat anything that has fallen to the ground. She orders a servant to clean up. Megha insists on seeing Arjun, but his mother responds harshly, saying, “Your name is Megha, right? I saw you on TV. Poor Arjun got trapped in your mess. He’s not a liar, but he had to lie for you. When did you both even get married?”

Megha, unfazed, retorts, “Did you even ask Arjun why he lied? Let him come, and we’ll clear everything up.”

Arjun’s mother dismissively responds, “You should have thought about all this earlier.”

Megha, growing impatient, says, “Call Arjun now, and then I’ll leave.” Just then, Navjot enters, pulling Megha by the hair and scolding her. She shoves Megha aside, but Arjun arrives in time to catch her.

“What is this misbehavior?” Arjun asks, glaring at Navjot. Before things escalate further, Talwar intervenes, trying to calm the situation. Arjun, still holding Megha, apologizes, “I’m sorry, Megha. This is Navjot, my Buji.”

Navjot doesn’t stop, though. She continues to insult Megha, who leaves in frustration. Arjun rushes after her, calling out, “Megha, wait, please listen.”

Megha, hurt, tells him, “Let go of my hand.” Arjun, desperate, tries to explain, “I’m really sorry. My Buji is like that. I’ve fought with her many times about her behavior, but people like Manoj have influenced her thinking. I’ve never been able to get through to her.”

Megha, clearly done with the situation, says, “I won’t give her the opportunity to insult me again. I don’t care about her thoughts anymore. We shouldn’t meet again.”

Arjun, shocked, asks, “What are you saying? What about our friendship?”

Megha responds, “Your Buji came to my house, made a scene, and insulted my family. I respect our friendship, and I’m grateful for all you’ve done for me. But whatever happened in Georgia will affect you, and I can’t put you at risk anymore.” She turns and walks away.

Frustrated, Arjun confronts Navjot, demanding, “Why did you go to Megha’s house without asking me? She’s my friend.”

Talwar steps in, trying to calm Arjun, but he pushes Talwar away, continuing to vent his frustration at Navjot. “You scolded her without thinking! What do you think she’s feeling right now?”

Navjot tries to get him to calm down and sit with her, but Arjun is too upset. She hands him her slipper and says, “Go ahead, hit me if that’s what you want.”

Arjun, exasperated, says, “Enough of this drama. You’re not understanding what you’ve done!” He walks away as Navjot yells after him, “I love you so much! We fight all the time, but I always listen to you. Now you’re taking that girl’s side? Don’t you realize she’s ruining your career? You have an enquiry coming up! Your dad worked so hard to build a good name, and Megha is destroying it. I’ll do anything to protect that name.”

Talwar, still trying to deescalate the situation, says, “Arjun, go to your room. We’ll talk later.” Navjot, furious, shouts that Arjun has lost his mind and given Megha a special locket. Talwar advises that Megha could help save Arjun’s job, but Navjot remains livid.

Meanwhile, Megha walks away, remembering Navjot’s harsh words, while Arjun, deeply troubled, reflects on the impending enquiry and the mess they’ve found themselves in.
