Megha Barsenge 26th August 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Goldie urging Surinder to think about Megha. Kripal and Surinder argue with Goldie, but Megha intervenes, asking them to stop. She pleads with them, saying, “If you all keep fighting, I will break down.” Distressed, she retreats to her room and breaks down, thinking of Manoj. Meanwhile, Arjun is also lost in thoughts about Megha. Suddenly, Manoj calls Megha, telling her he’s missing her and that he has arranged her visa. He urges her to take a morning flight and come to him. Megha agrees, saying she will come. Just then, Surinder stops her, warning her, “I won’t let you become another Jassi.” Megha, in her dream, sees Jassi saying, “I will also come with you, Megha.” Startled, Megha wakes up to find Arjun calling her.
Later, Megha busies herself with work, but Goldie approaches her, asking her to talk to Manoj. Manoj, on a video call, appears with visible injuries, accusing her of getting him beaten up. Shocked, Megha asks him what happened. Manoj, fabricating a story, claims that Arjun’s men kidnapped and assaulted him. Megha denies any involvement, but Manoj continues to lie, crying as he spins his tale.
Megha, feeling torn, questions, “Why should I trust you? You’ve lied to me before. You should have told me the truth from the start.” Manoj, playing the victim, responds, “If I had told the truth, your father wouldn’t have allowed us to marry. Trust me, I’ll pay off the loan EMIs. Your mother even went to my house to threaten my parents. You have power and connections, but I’m just a simple man with simple dreams.” Megha, still doubtful, asks, “Why didn’t you apply for my visa?” Manoj, feigning desperation, says, “I’m living in a hell here. I can’t bear to see your tears. I want to be clear—I’ll come home for Diwali, bring money to repay the loan, and then take you with me.” He pleads with Megha to trust him and give him a chance.
Kavita, overhearing, asks Kohli, “Do you think Megha will give Manoj another chance?” Kohli, shaking his head, says, “I trust Manoj, but he has deceived Megha with his love. Sometimes, girls can’t see the truth.” Unbeknownst to Megha, Manoj is sitting in his room, faking his hospital setup.
After ending the call, Megha asks Ranjeeta about Arjun and then leaves. Manoj removes the fake bandages with a smirk on his face. Megha, meanwhile, goes to confront Arjun. She accuses him, “I asked you not to interfere in my life! How dare you get Manoj beaten up?” Arjun, calmly, suggests they discuss the matter in his cabin. Megha, furious, retorts, “He’s in the hospital because of you!” Arjun, unconvinced, replies, “He’s lying. My officers only went to talk to him. You’re in love, so you can’t see or hear the truth. He’s deceiving you. Did he even tell you which hospital he’s in? I bet you didn’t ask. You’re educated, sensible, and talented—use your mind. Go and see the truth for yourself.” Megha, conflicted, leaves. Ranjeeta apologizes for Megha’s behavior, but Arjun reassures her, saying, “Trust me, and try to make Megha understand. She isn’t alone in this. I don’t know how Manoj got hurt, but I’m only trying to resolve the situation. You need to be there for Megha; she needs your support.” Ranjeeta thanks him and leaves.
Arjun calls his friend, saying, “Manoj is claiming that your officers beat him up badly and that he’s in the hospital.” His friend clarifies, “No, we just talked to him. We’re government officers, not goons.” Arjun, relieved, says, “Exactly what I told Megha. Thanks for clearing that up.”
Back home, Ranjeeta and Megha return, and Goldie pleads with Megha to forgive Manoj and save their relationship. Surinder, however, questions, “Should we believe he’ll come on Diwali? Did he even get Megha’s visa sorted? No.” Goldie turns to Ranjeeta, asking her to help convince Surinder. Ignoring them, Megha takes out her laptop. Ranjeeta, curious, asks, “What are you doing?” Megha, determined, replies, “I’m applying for my visa. I’ll go to Georgia and see the truth for myself.” Goldie tries to stop her, saying, “You’ll stay here. He said he’d come by Diwali. You won’t go.” Megha, resolute, asks, “Why not? Will he really come? Your husband promised to come for the festival too, but he didn’t. I need to see the truth for myself.” Goldie, frustrated, responds, “This is our reality. We can’t fight and change our fate.” Megha, determined, says, “I’ll make my own fate. I’m going to Georgia.”
