Megha Barsenge 25th August 2024 Written Update

The episode begins with Megha getting changed and coming out. Arjun says he has made tea for her. She asks if he received a call and mentions she should leave as she might get late. She sneezes, and he offers her a cup of tea, asking her to sit. He tells her to have it and asks if she informed her family that she’s there. Megha says yes, she called Ranjeeta. Arjun then asks if she’s a choreographer, mentioning he can’t seem to get a single step right. Megha points out that all the steps were wrong. Arjun insists on showing her just one step and asks for her help. Megha agrees and says they’ll do it on four counts. They start dancing to the song “Tauba Tauba…” when Arjun receives a call from the embassy. He answers the call and looks worried. Megha asks what happened, and he tells her that the visa hasn’t been applied for. Shocked, she tells him to check under the name Megha Khurana. Arjun replies that neither name has a visa application, and he suspects Manoj never intended to get her visa. Megha starts crying.

She angrily questions him, but Arjun apologizes. Megha thanks him for his help and says she should leave. Arjun stops her, asking where she would go at night and insisting she is his responsibility; he can’t let her leave alone. Megha responds that she’s the stupid one. Arjun pleads with her to trust him and tells her to go change; his driver will bring her scooty. Megha remembers Manoj’s words and tears up. Later, Arjun and Megha are on their way, and he offers help, mentioning he knows some people in Georgia. Megha tells him it’s her life and asks him not to interfere. Arjun acknowledges her point, and soon after, she falls asleep. They eventually reach her home, and Arjun wakes her up. He drops her off, and Ranjeeta invites him in. Arjun declines, but she insists he at least have some tea. Megha asks him not to mention anything at home. Despite her request, Arjun informs Surinder that Manoj didn’t apply for Megha’s visa. Surinder says he suspected Manoj was fake. Megha and Ranjeeta try to calm him down, and Megha tells Arjun she asked him not to reveal anything.

Ranjeeta points out that Arjun had previously checked everything and said it was fine. Megha, confused, asks what’s going on. Arjun explains that while everything checked out with the embassy profile, there’s little he can do if someone has malicious intentions. He suggests Megha must have had some doubts, given the patterns, particularly when Manoj talked about money. Arjun emphasizes that Megha’s problem is believing she can’t be deceived, but it happened. He then offers to get the visa within 48 hours and file an inquiry against Manoj, asking what they want to do next. Surinder thanks him but tells him they’ve been foolish enough and to let it go. Arjun tries to stress the importance of catching people like Manoj, but Megha interrupts, telling him to leave as they no longer want his help. She forcefully drags him out of the house and shuts the door, then breaks down crying. Outside, Arjun makes a call, instructing someone to pick up a man from his house and make sure he treats his wife with respect.

Surinder, upset, mentions that Megha got trapped and expresses a desire to keep her at home. Goldie asks if Surinder plans to break their marriage. Surinder retorts that they don’t care about the marriage, calling it a scam. Goldie tries to appeal to Surinder by reminding him that Megha is still a person with feelings. Dolly enters the scene and notices Megha crying. Meanwhile, the police arrive at the Kohli house. Kavita sees Ranjeeta and invites her in, acting cordial. The inspector announces that they’ve come to discuss Megha’s case. Dolly, noticing Megha’s sadness, asks if everything is alright. Goldie suggests she should leave and come back later. Dolly says she just came for some milk and comments on Megha looking upset. Riya responds that everything is fine, but the milk spilled, and Kripal made paneer from it. Dolly asks for sugar, and Kripal says it’s finished. Dolly remarks on Megha’s early return and asks if something’s wrong, adding that she shouldn’t keep returning to her parental home so often.

Megha, irritated, asks why Dolly cares and suggests she focus on solving her family’s problems. Dolly leaves. Kavita confronts Ranjeeta, saying they have a relationship, and questions how she could act this way. Ranjeeta calmly replies that she’s on duty. The inspector demands information about her son, warning they’ll obtain a warrant if necessary. Ranjeeta informs them that Manoj didn’t apply for Megha’s visa and that he refuses to talk to them. She advises him to admit his mistake, saying it could still be fixed. Kavita calls Megha, accusing her of sending her mother to intimidate them and asking if she wants to get them arrested. Megha asks Kavita to give the phone to Ranjeeta. When Ranjeeta takes the call, Megha simply tells her to come home. Ranjeeta agrees and leaves. Back at home, Goldie questions Ranjeeta’s actions, fearing she might break Megha’s marriage. Ranjeeta defends herself, saying she only went to save the marriage and insists she did nothing wrong. She declares that she only wants Megha’s happiness. Surinder supports her, stating that Ranjeeta did the right thing and that it’s time to handle the situation firmly.
