Megha Barsenge 22nd September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Megha saying, “This man has changed my identity.” Manoj smiles smugly. Megha passionately defends her case, stating, “Manoj is a liar and a cheat. I didn’t do anything, and there is no solid proof against me. He had my bag and passport, and he framed me. Give me two days, and I’ll present proof against him. He’s a scorpion; it’s his nature to sting.” Arjun watches her, smiling. Megha continues, “Manoj is deceitful, and he’s trying to frame me.”
Manoj objects, “I want to say something.” He puts on an emotional act, crying for sympathy. “My marriage was forced, it’s not even registered. Check Megha’s phone; she’s having an affair with Arjun. They’ve threatened to kill me. Ask Amy if you don’t believe me. What’s Megha’s connection with Arjun?” Megha furiously interrupts, “Don’t you dare mention Arjun! He only tried to help me.” Manoj counters, “She’s lying.”
Megha boldly declares, “This man tried to molest me, and I had to save my life by running away. Who does this to his wife?” Manoj insists, “She’s a liar.” Megha retorts, “He’s a devil.” Manoj, still playing the victim, says, “I just want justice.” He locks eyes with Megha. Shalini, Megha’s lawyer, steps in, defending her by pointing out, “The main issue here is domestic violence. Megha has been framed.” Khanna, the opposing lawyer, argues, “They have no proof. Megha was caught with drugs and attempted to escape prison. This is an open-and-shut case.”
The judge prepares to give the verdict, “We find Megha guilty and sentence her to imprisonment of…” Suddenly, Arjun shouts, “I object!” Everyone, including Megha, is shocked to see him.
Manoj quickly identifies him, “That’s Arjun, Megha’s boyfriend. They’re having an affair. Megha is characterless!” Furious, Arjun lunges at Manoj, attacking him. The police quickly restrain Arjun, but he shouts back, “You think I hit you for no reason? Watch how I’ll prove myself innocent.” Calming down, Arjun says, “I’m sorry.” Megha, stunned, asks, “Arjun, what are you doing here?”
Arjun, determined, replies, “I promised I’d take you with me.” Shalini, surprised, cautions, “You shouldn’t have come here.” Arjun responds, “Then Megha shouldn’t have been here either.” The judge, calling for order, says, “This is a courtroom. Silence, everyone! Arjun, you’ve broken several rules today.”
Arjun apologizes again but asserts, “I want to share the other side of the story. You can’t arrest me; you can only deport me. I’m here for official work, and I have diplomatic immunity.” The judge considers this and says, “I’ll deport you and retain Megha.” Arjun then drops a bombshell, “Megha also has immunity, like me, because she’s my wife. Yes, she’s Mrs. Megha Arjun Talwar.”
Manoj is left speechless. Shalini, equally shocked, exclaims, “What?” Arjun confidently continues, “It’s the truth.” Megha, looking bewildered, stares at him. Arjun pleads, “May I speak to my wife?” The judge permits it. Arjun reassures Megha, “You trust me, right? Just say yes.” Megha, still in disbelief, asks, “Why are you doing this?” Arjun, speaking softly, urges her, “Please, try to understand.”
The judge turns to Megha, asking, “Who is your husband?” Arjun, nodding at her, insists, “We will take this case to India, not Georgia. I’m her husband, and she’s my wife. We’re a family, and she has immunity just like me. Please allow us to return to our country.” The judge repeats the question, “Megha, who is your husband?” Arjun looks at her, waiting for her response.
