Megha Barsenge 20th December 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Megha and the doctor asking Manoj to leave. Arjun thinks about how to save Megha. Manoj says, “I don’t know about her pregnancy, it’s not my baby. Arjun and she got married in the first week of November, so maybe 6-7 weeks along. Don’t waste time, just make her fine, I have to go.” The doctor asks about the pregnancy to determine the right medication for Megha. Manoj responds, “I told you, 6-7 weeks.” Megha says, “I won’t get the sonography done if he’s here.” The doctor checks her. Manoj calls Arjun and asks about Megha’s pregnancy, how many weeks pregnant she is, so that the proper medicine dose can be given. Arjun says 14 weeks. He grows angry and sits down. Manoj asks Arjun how it’s 14 weeks. He takes a calendar and checks. Manoj says, “My marriage happened with Megha 15 weeks ago, she’s 14 weeks pregnant, it means this baby is mine.” He’s shocked.
He wonders how this could happen. He recalls his intimacy with Megha and says, “You lied to me, it’s my baby.” He turns to the doctor and asks, “Is the baby fine? If anything happens to the baby, you’ll die.” The doctor says, “I gave her the medicine, she’ll be fine.” Manoj says, “Nothing should happen to the baby.” He asks, “Show me the sonography, I want to see my baby.”
Arjun hears this and cries. The doctor shows the baby to Manoj. Arjun asks Manoj to forget the baby and leave. Manoj ends the call. He demands the doctor give him the picture. Arjun grows angrier. Mandeep asks Goldie to speak the truth. Goldie scolds her. Navjot arrives and supports Goldie. Goldie thanks her. Navjot says, “I need to talk to you in private.” Manoj takes the baby’s picture. He says, “I have to take Megha, don’t act smart, make her conscious, I have to leave.” He scolds the doctor. “The baby is mine, I don’t trust anyone, I can’t wait.” Megha opens her eyes and watches. Megha kicks Manoj. He falls. She says, “It’s my baby, not yours, don’t think I’ll give you the baby.” He replies, “Plans have changed. I won’t let you take my everything, not the baby.”
Navjot says, “I know everything about Talwar and you.” Goldie asks, “How do you know? Are you okay with it?” Navjot says, “I know how it feels.” Goldie replies, “I beg you, stop your brother. I can’t tolerate this.” Navjot starts crying.
He says, “My dad was mad, he used to run naked in the fields, and he died one day. My mum had passed away, leaving me with the responsibility of two younger brothers. I was young too, and I had to take care of them and the haveli. I had to face all of this. I couldn’t do anything; I had to take care of my brothers, educate them, and help them become successful. I tolerated everything, hated myself, but still compromised for my family’s sake.”
Goldie asks, “Why is our society like this? Why is life so tough for us? You’ve done us a big favor by making Megha your bahu. We don’t know what she might have gone through. Thank you. Do another favor and stop your brother.” Navjot says, “Don’t say this, you’re right. But you haven’t faced what I’ve faced. You have Talwar in your life; he has fallen for you at this age. I was alone. You have your brother, you have Ranjeeta, and many women want Talwar. You’re lucky. Talwar won’t leave anyone who sees you. I can’t do anything. He isn’t in my control, and he can do anything with you.”
Manoj says, “Megha, you were married to me, you were in love with me. This baby is a sign of our life together. Everything will be fine once the baby comes into our lives. I’ll leave everything behind. I’ll do whatever you say, but this baby is mine.” He asks for one chance. Megha replies, “You can never change. You dare and surrender to Arjun if you want a chance. I’ve made my decision. Arjun will be this baby’s father.”
