Megha Barsenge 18th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Megha taking Surinder to the hospital for his checkup. Arjun calls her, but she disconnects the call. He calls again, and she reluctantly answers. He inquires about the background check on Manoj, to which she responds that he has already completed it. He presses her for information on how long Manoj has been in Amritsar. Megha insists that she will manage the situation herself. Arjun senses something is off and urges her to meet him. She firmly tells him not to call or attempt to see her again. He is taken aback and asks her what she means. She replies that one Manoj in her life is enough for someone to speak to her rudely and ends the call.
Megha is startled to find Manoj at the hospital. Meanwhile, Arjun contacts the DCP. Megha approaches Manoj and asks about his condition. The ward boy suggests she check online. The doctor reviews the reports, and Megha looks it up, alarmed to see something concerning about Manoj’s kidney. She contemplates calling Arjun to inform him but hesitates. Arjun is on the phone with the DCP, inquiring about Nupur Sharma’s case, learning that she has been missing for six years.
Manoj expresses his gratitude to the doctor and prepares to leave. Megha quickly hides, then returns to give Surinder his medications. He advises her to take care of herself. Manoj, meanwhile, conceals the hospital file from her view and heads downstairs. Megha and Kripal watch closely, prompting her to instruct Kripal to keep an eye on Manoj while she goes upstairs. Kripal stays vigilant, observing Manoj’s actions as Megha searches for the file. At the Ram Leela event, Manoj appears, shouting that he is Raavan, to which Surinder agrees. Megha retrieves the suitcase, and Ranjeeta and Goldie ask Kripal to call Megha, but he informs them she cannot come at that moment. Manoj overhears this, and Megha tries to unlock a code. Manoj rushes to see what she’s doing, but she manages to get the file and examine it.
She takes pictures of its contents, but Manoj confronts her, questioning what she is looking at. He pushes her away and starts to suffocate her. Kripal arrives just in time. Megha pleads with Manoj to let her go. Kripal intervenes, demanding Manoj release her and bites him in the process, pushing him back.
Arjun also appears at the scene. Manoj angrily asks why Arjun has come when he was having quality time with his wife. Kripal threatens Manoj, ready to kill him. Arjun steps in to restrain Kripal and confronts Manoj. Megha urges Arjun not to interfere and to leave. Arjun insists he is not there for a casual visit; he explains that Manoj is the prime suspect in a case and that the police have arrived, indicating he needs Megha’s statement. He forcefully takes Manoj down, who accuses Arjun of trying to frame him. Arjun drags him away as the Raavan effigy burns at the Ram Leela. He takes Megha and Manoj with him, while Kripal updates the family on the situation.
At the police station, Arjun shows Manoj a picture of Nupur and demands to know what he did with her and her whereabouts. Manoj feigns ignorance, claiming he doesn’t know her. Frustrated, Arjun slaps him. Megha watches the exchange with concern. Arjun presses Manoj further, insisting that he must remember the woman in the picture, revealing that he had married her six years ago. Manoj denies it, prompting Megha to ask about the marriage. Arjun clarifies that Manoj is already married to Nupur, rendering Megha’s marriage to him invalid and that she is now free. Megha is devastated by the news.
Arjun states that Nupur and Manoj vanished after their marriage and assures Megha that they will find Nupur soon. He emphasizes that they are on the same team now and presses Manoj for information about her whereabouts. Manoj, still in denial, claims Arjun is fabricating stories and questions his sanity. Arjun counters by showing Manoj photographs of him in disguise.
