Megha Barsenge 13th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Arjun fuming with anger. He says, “This man is Manoj, he has abused Megha. We’ve come here to file a complaint against him.” He asks Megha to show the officers what Manoj has done to her. Megha removes her jacket, revealing her torn sleeves and bruises. She says, “Manoj is my husband. He tried to force himself on me. He’s a terrible person, a devil.” Arjun adds, “He held her hostage.” Megha pleads, “I need help.” Arjun continues, “He conned her, don’t believe anything he says.”
Manoj interrupts, “She’s my wife. We were forcefully married, and then she ran away. Her mother is a police officer, and Megha is a drug addict. She even injured me.” He recalls how he had broken a bottle on his own head to create injuries. Megha snaps, “Stop with the lies!” Manoj counters, “Check with the Amritsar airport. She was caught for drugs.”
Arjun, frustrated, retorts, “Stop lying! I’m an IAS officer. This girl is innocent.” Manoj smugly hands over a pendrive, saying, “I have proof.”
The police view footage showing Megha hitting Manoj. Megha protests, “That’s not the whole video! It’s misleading.” Arjun agrees, “This isn’t the full story. It’s a half-truth.” Manoj insists, “No, that’s the whole truth.” Megha, now enraged, says, “Stop this drama.” Arjun warns, “Don’t escalate this.” Manoj plays victim, “She’s mad. She’s a drug addict, maybe even a dealer. Please, arrest her. She’s dangerous.”
The inspector asks Manoj, “Do you have proof?” Manoj nods and retrieves a bag, saying, “Please, check this.”
Megha exclaims, “That’s my bag!” The inspector searches it and finds drugs inside. Everyone is shocked. Megha, bewildered, says, “No! I don’t even know what drugs look like. I didn’t do anything!” She lunges toward Manoj, but Arjun holds her back.
Megha is arrested for drug possession and assault. She pleads, “What have I done?” Arjun tries to reason with the officers, “Officer, listen to me! You’re making a mistake. This girl is innocent. Manoj is the real culprit, he’s the one who should be behind bars.” The inspector remains firm, “We’ll see about that in court. Let the court decide.” Megha cries, “I didn’t do anything! I’m innocent!” Arjun, desperate, asks, “Is there anything else we can do?” The inspector replies, “Get a lawyer.”
As Megha is taken away, Arjun shouts, “Stop!” Megha turns to Amy and pleads, “Amy, tell them the truth. Manoj is a liar and a cheat. He married me for money. He’ll do the same to you. Please, help me. He can’t be trusted.”
Manoj quickly intervenes, “Don’t listen to her, Amy. She’s crazy.”
Megha begs, “Amy, please. He will betray you too. Tell the truth now, or you’ll suffer for his lies.” She is dragged away, while Manoj coldly remarks, “Don’t pay attention to her.”
Arjun reassures Megha, “Don’t worry, I will come and get you out.” She pleads with him, “Please, don’t tell my family. They won’t be able to handle it.” As she is taken to the cell, treated like a criminal, Manoj tells Amy to come along with him. Arjun angrily warns, “I won’t let this slide.”
Manoj, pleased with himself, says, “Megha is in jail now.” Arjun, seething with anger, replies, “I’ll show you what real truth looks like.” Manoj smirks and says, “This is Georgia, not India. You can’t do anything here.”
Megha is thrown into the jail, breaking down in tears, “I didn’t do anything!” She starts to feel sick and vomits. Manoj, outside, continues taunting Arjun, “I challenge you, save Megha if you can. She questions everything and now look at her.” He pretends to be sympathetic, but Arjun is beyond furious.
Inside the jail, a cellmate slaps Megha, trying to intimidate her. Arjun, meanwhile, is on the phone, desperately seeking legal help. “I need a female lawyer for this case,” he says, hanging up in frustration. He pleads with the inspector again, “I am an officer too. You’re not taking this seriously!”
A female lawyer arrives and coldly tells him, “This isn’t India. Your position means nothing here.” Meanwhile, Megha continues to endure harsh treatment in jail, feeling utterly helpless.
