Megha Barsenge 12th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Manoj dragging Megha, hurting her in the process. Megha grabs a frying pan and hits him. He screams in pain but quickly catches her by the neck. “You came here after me,” he sneers. She fights back, hitting him again. “I admit it, I made a mistake, but I’m your husband. Please don’t hit me, I know I was wrong,” he pleads. Megha, recalling his lies, responds, “You lied to me. What did I do to deserve this? Why did you cheat me?”
Manoj, desperate, says, “I made a mistake, but I’ll change for you. Just give me one more chance.” Megha, tears in her eyes, firmly replies, “No. I made the mistake of trusting you. You don’t deserve me.” Enraged, he throws a candle at her. Megha quickly starts recording his behavior on her phone. “You want to kill me? Fine, the world will now see who you really are.” Manoj, realizing what she’s doing, throws the phone aside and furiously says, “You think you can record me and send me to jail? I’ll show you my true colors!” He grabs her by the neck and chokes her.
Unbeknownst to him, the phone continues recording. “I’m a devil, and you’ll see it firsthand,” he growls as he tears her sleeves. Megha pushes him away and starts crying. In a fit of desperation, she hits him over the head with the frying pan, causing him to collapse. Breathing heavily, she says, “I can’t let you ruin my life anymore.”
Manoj falls unconscious, and Megha worries, thinking, “Did he die?” She picks up her phone, only to find the display broken. Panicking, she borrows a phone from a passerby and recalls Arjun’s number. She dials him. “Arjun, it’s me. Please, come and help me!” she pleads.
Arjun, shocked, asks, “Is it really you? Are you alright? Where are you? Did Manoj hurt you?” Megha, still panicked, gives him her location. Arjun assures her, “I’m coming, stay right there.” Megha returns the borrowed phone and waits, trembling.
Arjun arrives to find Megha crying. He notices her torn sleeves and quickly offers his jacket. “Did Manoj do this to you? If he’s dead, I won’t let him get away with it.” He holds her close, reassuring her, “You’re safe now. Trust me.”
Megha, through tears, explains, “Manoj tried to force me. I ran away. I don’t know where to go, I’ll never forgive him.” Arjun, comforting her, says, “We’ll never forgive him.”
Meanwhile, Manoj regains consciousness and angrily looks for Megha. He screams in frustration. Arjun fetches water for Megha, who drinks it, still shaken.
At home, Ranjeeta returns, visibly shaken. Surinder and Goldie notice and rush to her. She hands over her suspension letter. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” she says with determination. “Megha has gone to Georgia to fight her battle, and I will fight mine. I won’t give up.” Surinder, proud, replies, “Our family women are brave. No one will cry. We stand together.”
Arjun and Megha head to the police station. Arjun asks the inspector for help. The inspector coldly replies, “Megha Khurana, right? She doesn’t need help. Others do. We need to arrest her.”
Shocked, Arjun asks, “What? On what grounds?” Megha, horrified, says, “No, you don’t understand. My husband locked me up. I need help!” The inspector responds, “We received a complaint from Manoj. He claims you tried to kill him.”
Arjun, enraged, shouts, “What nonsense!” Just then, Manoj and Amy walk in. Manoj, with a smug expression, says, “Yes, that’s right.” Megha, devastated, holds onto Arjun’s hand tightly.
