Mangal Lakshmi 2nd January 2025 Written Episode Update
Kusum prays to God, asking for the return of her innocent grandchildren’s mother, while Mangal’s children desperately wish for her safe return. In the cold storage room, Mangal draws strength from her love for her children, determined to hold her breath and find a way out. She knows they can’t live without her and resolves to escape and reunite with them.
Adit calls Sowmya, asking why she hasn’t come back home. Sowmya lies, telling him her cab booking was canceled and that she will be arriving in another one. Adit ends the call when the hospital watchman calls, informing him that CCTV footage shows Mangal had visited the hospital but never left. Realizing Kusum’s suspicions were right, Adit concludes that Mangal might still be inside the hospital. Kusum urges him to hurry there. Mangal manages to break the fan in the storage room and plans to escape through the window. Sowmya grows anxious, unsure of what the security guard might have shared with Adit. She calls him again, but Adit informs her of his discovery and heads to the hospital, despite her attempts to stop him.
Sowmya, becoming desperate, tells her driver to turn around and go back to the hospital, pretending she forgot something. Mangal successfully escapes the cold storage room just as Sowmya arrives. Inside the hospital, Adit and Kusum frantically search for Mangal. When Sowmya spots Mangal outside, she is stunned and fearful of being exposed. Recognizing Sowmya, Mangal accuses her of deceit.
Adit discovers the cold storage room locked from the outside and finds evidence of Mangal’s presence, including her bag and traces of blood. Shanti panics, fearing for her daughter’s safety. Lipika suggests that Mangal might have been trapped in the freezing room, and Adit wonders how she could have escaped. Meanwhile, Sowmya retreats, alarmed by the sight of a car approaching, while the security guard identifies her and alerts Adit. Adit rescues Mangal and rushes her to the hospital. Aware that Mangal knows her secret, Sowmya begins to plot her next move. Later, the doctor informs Kusum that Mangal survived due to her strength, but she needs time to regain consciousness. Adit settles the hospital bills, and Kusum comforts Shanti, sending her home to rest.
When Mangal regains consciousness, she reveals to Kusum that Sowmya has been lying and is not pregnant. Mangal explains how she overheard Sowmya’s conversation with the doctor and uncovered the truth. She tells Kusum how Sowmya locked her in the storage room to silence her. Furious, Adit smashes a vase, enraged at Sowmya’s betrayal.
At a party, Lakshmi confronts Raghuveer about his presence after refusing to help her. Raghuveer admits he stepped back to respect her mother-in-law but expresses admiration for Lakshmi’s courage and determination. Lakshmi vows to free her husband Karthik from jail, undeterred by the challenges. Raghuveer agrees to help and devises a plan to retrieve evidence from Jia’s phone. In jail, the constable and inspector mock Karthik and mistreat him. Jia proposes a deal to Karthik’s mother that if she removes Lakshmi from Karthik’s life and arranges for Jia to marry him, she will drop all the charges against Karthik.
Lakshmi distracts Jia while Raghuveer gains access to her phone to transfer crucial data. However, Jia becomes suspicious when she realizes her phone is missing. Her mother warns her that something is wrong, and Jia quickly deduces that a fake waiter may be involved. They try to break open the room door using waiters. Raghuveer and Lakshmi manage to secure the evidence, determined to protect it and use it to clear Karthik’s name. They grow tense, hearing the waiters trying to break down the door.
