Mangal Lakshmi 26th December 2024 Written Episode Update

Soumya says, “I don’t want her back in this house.” She was telling you’re not divorced from her. He says, “We need to think of our own benefit. You can’t handle the house chores. If she comes here, you and I wouldn’t have to worry about mom and dad or the kitchen. I’m always with you. She’s a caretaker for me. Only focus on your benefit and don’t get insecure of Mangal. She’s good for nothing.” Soumya replies, “If she comes here, she’ll find out about my pregnancy.”

Shanti tells Mangal not to go back there. She says, “You’ve stood on your own after so long. Don’t go back there. You left that house.” Mangal replies, “I have to go. If it’s hell, how can I leave amma and papa there? They are so weak. I need to be there for them. I was so worried for them yesterday. If I stay here, I’d always be scared.” Shanti asks, “What about Soumya?” Mangal says, “I feel like Soumya isn’t pregnant. She’s probably lying.” Shanti says, “She’s a liar. We can’t trust her.” Mangal replies, “If I stay there, I can keep an eye on her as well.” Shanti warns, “If she can do such a big drama, she can do anything. She’s a witch. She can harm you or your kids. How would you explain this to the kids?” Mangal says, “Once they come back from school, I’ll talk to them. They’ll be happy.”

Mangal packs her things and goes to Kusum’s house. Kusum says, “I feel much better now that you’re here.” Soumya asks Kusum to wash her clothes. Mangal says, “You can’t order her to do your laundry.” Soumya replies, “I’m pregnant. How can I wash? I asked amma, stay out of it. You can’t interfere in my life. I don’t need your favor. Amma will do it gladly for me.” Mangal says, “How can she order you like that?” Sudesh says, “She’s been doing that since you left. She makes Kusum clean the house, cook, and do the dishes. She fell the other day while cleaning her room.” Mangal notices Kusum’s injured foot and asks, “Why didn’t you tell Adit? He loves you a lot.” Kusum replies, “Don’t worry. I was helping her because she’s pregnant. Adit always thinks Soumya is right.” Sudesh adds, “Adit asked Kusum to take care of Soumya.” Mangal says, “She can’t do all this.”

Soumya dances happily in her room while Mangal watches. Kusum asks Soumya, “Are you going out? I’ve called the massage woman for you; she’ll do your massage.” Soumya says, “I don’t want it.” Kusum insists, “You said you have back pain. Go change.” Adit says, “Soumya, you need to take care of yourself.” Kusum continues, “Go and change. Don’t go out. Wear loose clothes. I’m getting rid of all your tight clothes. They’ll make you sick.” Adit agrees, “Amma is right.” They give away all her dresses.

Mangal and Lakshmi play at the temple. Mangal encourages Lakshmi, “You should go to court. You have a lawyer now.” Lakshmi apologizes, “I’m sorry I didn’t even ask how you are.” Mangal replies, “I’ll expose Soumya soon. We are together in this.”

Jiya is on her way. Her lawyer says, “Karthik doesn’t even have a lawyer. Don’t worry.” Jiya’s mother calls her, saying, “What? How is that possible? How did Karthik get a lawyer?” Lakshmi tells Gayatri and Omesh, “They got the lawyer.” Niddhi adds, “Papa arranged the lawyer.” Omesh says, “I hope he can prove Karthik’s innocence.” Karthik arrives, but they don’t let Lakshmi and Gayatri meet him. Jiya arrives too and cries in front of the media. Someone kidnaps the lawyer Omesh hired. Jiya’s mother tells her, “Your problem is solved.”

The court hearing starts. Jiya’s lawyer says, “Karthik’s lawyer isn’t here. How can we start the hearing?” Omesh replies, “No one knows where he went. His phone is off.” Lakshmi says, “This is definitely Jiya’s plan.” The judge says, “There’s no proof, witness, or lawyer. We will find him guilty and sentence him to 18 years.” Lakshmi is shocked, but then the judge tells her to sit down. “I must announce my verdict since there’s no lawyer.” Raghuveer enters and says, “I’ll fight this case. I’m sorry I’m late.” Lakshmi feels relieved. Jiya is shocked. Lakshmi says, “He’s our last hope.” Jiya’s lawyer says, “But his license isn’t valid.” Raghuveer shows his license and calls Jiya to the witness box. He asks her about her music, saying, “In your last movie, you had the same role of a poor woman. You’ll likely win many awards for this acting too.” She replies, “I’m not acting.” He says, “I’m just appreciating your talent. But what does your acting have to do with this case? Or does it? You included it yourself. Is there any truth to it? Let’s start from the beginning. What happened on that wedding night? What did you do to faint yourself? Were you really sick? I’m just asking. You were fine when you entered the room without any support. Were you really unconscious?”
