Mangal Lakshmi 25th October 2024 Written Episode Update

Akshar sneaks out of school, recalling Ishana telling Mangal, “I will handle Akshar. He will learn to live without Papa.” He thinks to himself, *I knew they fought. I will bring Papa back home. He will live with us only.* He gives a rickshaw driver Adit’s office address. The driver responds that it’s too far and asks if he has any money. Akshar replies no, determined to take Papa home at all costs. Suddenly, he notices money falling to the ground. He states, *I won’t steal,* and picks it up to give it to the driver. The driver accuses him, saying, *You were stealing our money?*

Mangal realizes she forgot to give Akshar his water bottle. The rickshaw driver claims Akshar was stealing. Akshar cries out, *I am not a thief!* The policeman intervenes, telling the driver to be quiet. Akshar explains, *My parents fought. I wanted to go to him. I want to take him home.* The policeman offers to take him with him. Mangal sees the crowd as she returns. Her auto drives past.

Adit serves Soumya breakfast, saying, *I wanted to surprise you like you did last night. My family ruined it.* She responds, *You’re spoiling me. It feels like a dream.* A phone call interrupts Adit, and he looks shocked. He says, *What? I am coming there,* before rushing out. Soumya asks where he is going.

The teacher informs Mangal that Akshar never showed up at school today. Mangal insists, *But I dropped him off myself.* The principal suggests he might have sneaked out, noting that he’s not well. *Your family problems are affecting him. Please call the police.* Mangal starts to worry and asks various people about Akshar. A tea vendor informs her that a kid ran away from school to find his dad, and the policeman took him to the station.

Adit arrives at the police station, where Akshar hugs him and cries. Akshar insists, *I didn’t steal, Papa.* Adit reassures him, *They told me the whole thing. You didn’t do anything. Don’t worry. I am here.* He questions the inspector about bringing Akshar in. The inspector responds that Adit should take better care of his child, adding that Akshar was looking for him on the streets and that he is safer at the station. Adit apologizes and takes Akshar home. Mangal arrives at the station and asks the inspector if he brought her son. He informs her that Adit took him. Mangal is taken aback, and the inspector says she should talk to Adit.

Adit says, *Sorry, Mama, I was just coming to meet you.* He reassures Akshar, *Don’t worry. I am with you.* Mangal calls Adit, but he hangs up, saying, *See what you did to my son.* Kusum tries to reach Mangal but doesn’t reveal anything. Mangal wonders where Adit has taken Akshar and calls his office.

Karthik asks Lakshmi if she’s unhappy with him. She replies, *Why are you asking that?* He presses, *Why didn’t you tell me about the divorce papers?* Lakshmi explains, *I met with an accident that day. I tried to tell you but lost my voice. I’m sorry.* He reassures her, *I know. I will always be there for you. You can share anything with me.* Lakshmi hugs him, saying, *I’m very lucky to have a life partner like you.* Gayatri observes them, distracted by her ringing phone. She steps outside to take the call.

Soumya wonders where Adit has gone when he walks in with Akshar. Soumya greets him, but Akshar seems confused, asking, *Whose house is this?* Soumya explains, *It’s your dad’s house.* Akshar protests, *No, he lives with us in his house.* Adit clarifies, *They gave me this place so I could be closer to the project.* Akshar suggests, *Then we can all be a family here.* Adit explains that it’s a small house and they can’t stay there. Akshar asks, *What about Mommy?* Adit replies that she can’t take care of them and the grandparents. Akshar asks why Soumya is there, and Adit states she’s just helping with work before going home. Akshar insists he should inform Mom that he’s there. Adit assures him he already did.

Mangal arrives at Soumya’s house, and the guard confirms it’s Soumya Saxena’s residence. Soumya tells Adit, *You said this isn’t my house?* She questions if it’s still not her house. He responds that he said that to convince Akshar; he wants to keep him there to bond with him. The watchman informs Soumya that Mangal is coming upstairs, but she doesn’t tell Adit. Soumya says she will make a milkshake for Akshar and turns off the doorbell. She thinks, *You can’t come to my house, Soumya.* Mangal knocks, insisting, *My son is here; I know it. Open the door.* Adit opens the door.
