Mangal Lakshmi 24th December 2024 Written Episode Update

Soumya says, “Why did you lie, Mangal, that I have an almond allergy?” Adit replies, “She is jealous of you. She only comes here to bother you and me. She can’t stand that someone appreciated you and said you looked nice.” Mangal says, “There was papaya and pineapple in the cake.” Soumya asks, “Is this poison?” She adds, “It can harm the pregnancy. I couldn’t say that in front of everyone, but it’s dangerous.” Adit says, “Soumya, you have to be careful.” Soumya responds, “I didn’t realize.” He says, “You need to be more careful. I have to stop you from eating outside food. Stick to home food.” He leaves. Soumya mutters, “This Mangal is ruining my life.”

The doorbell rings. Kusum goes to answer it. It’s a parcel. Kusum sees it’s Mangal’s tiffin. She cries and hugs it. Kusum eats it while crying, saying, “Mangal still cares for me when I need her the most.” Soumya enters the office kitchen and says, “I’ll eat the cake if I want.” She eats it. Mangal sees her and recalls what Lipika said. Mangal remembers her drinking as well. Mangal thinks, “If she’s not pregnant, why is she doing all this drama?” Soumya comes out from behind the table and says, “I was looking for my earring. What are you doing here?” Mangal says, “Keeping an eye on you, that’s what you think. I came here to take my bottle.” She continues, “I hope you enjoyed the cake. Don’t sit like that during pregnancy. You can sit at the table and eat. Don’t be shy.” Mangal leaves. Soumya says, “I need to find out the truth.”

Lakshmi hugs Karthik and cries. The police van arrives. She says, “Please go.” He responds, “No, I won’t leave.” They both run.
Karthik and Lakshmi reach a shed. Omesh tells Gayatri, “Karthik ran from the police van to save Lakshmi.” Gayatri says, “This girl always ruins everything. She gets into trouble, and Karthik has to bear the consequences. It was his hearing today, and the police will only make things worse for him.” The police arrive outside. Jiya says, “I’ll find them. They can’t live together.” Karthik dresses Lakshmi’s wound. She asks, “What will happen now?” He replies, “If you’re okay, I’m okay.” He hugs her.

Soumya returns home and sees Kusum’s budget diary. She notices that Kusum pays half of Mangal’s rent. Adit arrives home. Soumya leaves the diary open so he sees it. She says, “See what’s happening. Amma spends so much.” He replies, “This is papa’s pension money. Let her spend it however she wants. Don’t get in her bad books again.” Soumya responds, “Is she doing me a favor by letting me stay here?” He says, “No.” Adit gets a call from his friends and says, “I’ll be there.” Soumya says, “Wow, now you’re not tired. You’re flirting with Jasprit.” He says, “I smile at everyone.” She says, “You haven’t smiled at me in days. You only stay mad at me. You smiled and had fun with me when I was your girlfriend. Sometimes I feel like you want me to be like Mangal. But I’m not Mangal, and I won’t tolerate this.” She leaves in anger. Adit says to himself, “I was just talking to the client. Maybe it’s pregnancy hormones.” Kusum says, “Mangal never spoke to you like this or doubted you even when you had an affair. Not all girls can be like her.” Mangal comes outside. She asks Amma, “Are you okay?” Kusum replies, “Yes. Some people will soon realize the value of diamonds against coal.” Mangal asks, “Are the kids okay?” Kusum says, “I was worried about you. What happened to your foot?” Mangal responds, “I’m fine. You sent me food three times. What more could I ask for?”

The police try to break into the shed. They say, “Karthik, come out.” Lakshmi asks, “What will happen now?” He replies, “Running from custody is a serious crime.” The police enter and arrest Karthik. Lakshmi runs after the van, shouting, “Please stop!” The inspector says, “Don’t make things worse for your husband.” They drag Karthik into the van, and Lakshmi cries.

Soumya orders dresses at the office and shows her friend Isha a pair of heels. Isha says, “She’s so shallow. The heels won’t make her look any better as a person.” Mangal wonders how Soumya will wear heels if she’s pregnant. Soumya drops the box, and Mangal picks up the heels. Mangal says, “You shouldn’t wear heels.” Soumya replies, “Don’t lecture me.” Mangal asks, “Didn’t the doctor advise you against them?” Soumya says, “Mind your own business.” She adds, “You’re jealous of my shopping, Adit.” He asks, “How can you wear heels? You’re pregnant.” She says, “My life isn’t over. Stop talking like Mangal. Do you want me to become like her?” She leaves in anger.

The media reports that Karthik ran from police custody to save Lakshmi. The lawyer Raghuveer sees the report. They ask people, and most speak against Karthik. Lakshmi comes home, and Gayatri slaps her. She says, “You ruined Karthik’s case. Why do you always get him into trouble? My son will never come out of jail now. All because of you.” Lakshmi replies, “I don’t know how he got there. My car was on fire.” Nidhi asks, “Why did you run away?” Lakshmi says, “I didn’t.” Gayatri says, “You’re responsible for everything. We are all being careful, and you had to act oversmart. You trapped him.” Omesh says, “She went out to look for proof.” Gayatri says, “Tell her to stay away from my son. We don’t need her help. She’s clueless. Don’t step outside this house now.” Sanjana adds, “Karthik won’t even get bail.” Gayatri says, “This curse has ruined Karthik’s life.” Lakshmi sits and cries.
