The episode opens with Ranvijay lying to Jaya and Vasundara on the phone. He tells Vasundara to manage Jaya for the day. Sulekha mentions he needs time for personal matters. Jaya is upset and expresses her desire to go to Kaveri Tai. Vasundara asks why, suggesting they can invite Kaveri here instead. Jaya insists on going there to stay for a few days and leaves in tears. Ranvijay thinks that once he leaves, he can start anew with Jaya. Aaji urges him to eat kheer. He declines. Vaiju encourages him to eat it to please Aaji. Aaji insists that Vaiju feed it to him. Vaiju playfully teases him and then makes preparations, chatting with her friends about Ranvijay, who overhears them. Vaiju jokingly remarks that she didn’t realize he had become so important to her and that he has been irritated since his recovery. The girls tease her and laugh. When Vaiju climbs up, she falls, and Ranvijay shouts her name, rushing to catch her. They both tumble down and share an intimate moment. The song “Behta hai mann…” plays in the background, and the girls continue to tease him. Vaiju asks them to leave. Ranvijay questions whether he is always irritated. She reassures him that he is not. Meanwhile, Jaya packs her bags, and Vaiju gets ready for the puja with a smile. Ranvijay is captivated by her appearance. The song “Teri jhuki nazar…” plays.
She inquires if he hasn’t gotten ready yet. He replies that he lacks appropriate clothes for the event. She offers to borrow some from Milind. He jokes that he would look odd in girls’ clothing. She laughs, explaining that “Mili” refers to Milind, whom she affectionately calls that. He questions the necessity of it, fearing Milind may not appreciate it. She assures him that Milind doesn’t mind and has loved her since childhood. She reminisces about their past, which makes Ranvijay feel jealous. Aaji calls them for the puja, and Jaya is seen crying as she looks at his picture, stating she cannot forgive him. Aaji mentions that Ranvijay hasn’t arrived yet. Milind speculates that perhaps Ranvijay doesn’t want to participate in the puja. Ranvijay reflects that he cannot break his promise to Vaiju. Vaiju beams at him, and Aaji blesses them, complimenting their chemistry.
She guides them to the puja. The pandit instructs them on the rituals and asks Vaiju and Ranvijay to sit together. Vaiju remembers Ranvijay’s words and insists on performing the puja alone. The pandit tells her that they must do it together to avoid disrespecting the ceremony. Vaiju counters that if the prayer comes from the heart, it’s not an insult, as her husband’s presence is enough for her. She proceeds to tie the thread. Ranvijay offers to join her in every ritual, and they tie the thread together, sharing smiles.
