Maati Se Bandhi Dor 8th October 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Jaya asking, “What did you say about Ranvijay?” The man replies, “I was telling Joshi about Ranvijay’s marriage.” Joshi quickly interrupts him. He says they’ve brought gifts for Sir and sends the men away. He then asks Jaya to take the fruits home. She refuses and asks, “Did you talk to someone in Pune?” He nods and says, “Yes, I’ll update you.” She leaves, and he mutters, “There is some misunderstanding.” Meanwhile, Ranvijay says, “Everyone is probably waiting for you and me, you can come after finishing your exams.” Vaiju replies, “No, Rana ji, it’s better I don’t return to that house. I want to see you happy.” He remorsefully says, “I’ve ruined your life.” She notices the sindoor mark on his shirt and says, “I’ll clean it.” He stops her, saying, “Let it be.” Inwardly, he decides to look at the mark when he misses her. She wipes her tears and packs his bags. He looks at her and says, “I want to do something for you.”
Vaiju says, “I want to ask you something. Can you stay here one more day for my sake?” Surprised, he asks, “Seriously, you want this?” She nods, “Yes, I prayed and made a mannat. We have to do a puja on Dussehra day. Can you stay back?” He smiles and says, “You prayed for me, not for yourself.” She responds, “I just want one more day and your support in the puja.” He agrees, saying, “Fine, we will celebrate Dussehra together this time. I’ll be with you to fulfill the mannat.” She gratefully thanks him and rushes to tell everyone. Watching her, he thinks she’s happy as if she won the world, and notes how she knows how to find joy. Vaiju happily begins making the arrangements, while Ranvijay and Milind smile, watching her. The song “Tum Tak” plays in the background.
Aaji arrives. Milind remarks, “Vaiju has gone mad with excitement.” Vaiju, elated, says, “Ranvijay has recovered, and he will celebrate Dussehra with us.” He retorts, “He is your husband, he should spend every festival with you. Why are you so thrilled?” She simply asks him to do his work, and he leaves. Vaiju thinks to herself, “How did Ranvijay agree so quickly?” Meanwhile, Rao Sahab explains to Arhaan about the neem and coconut leaves used in the toran. Arhaan admires it, while Vasundara ponders Jaya’s earlier words. She wonders, “Did Jaya find out anything about Rana?”
Ranvijay, while charging his phone, reflects on Vaiju. He thinks, “I was supposed to return home in just two days, but I couldn’t even speak to Jaya because my phone was off. Vaiju asked me to stay back, and I couldn’t refuse. Why? Is it because this might be our last meeting? Did Vaiju make a place in my heart? Do I love her? No, it’s nothing like that. I’m only doing this out of humanity and gratitude. I should call Jaya. But… why didn’t I miss Jaya?”
Jaya arrives home. Arhaan immediately asks, “Did Ranvijay say anything? When is he coming?” Rao Sahab reassures him, “Don’t be sad. He will come today.” Jaya, upset, goes inside. Naagraj comments, “Vaiju would have cheered her up.” Rao Sahab adds, “It’s our responsibility to keep her happy.” Meanwhile, Ranvijay, deep in thought, says, “I missed Jaya. I came here with the intention of returning to her, to live without any burden.” He adds, “Sorry, Jaya, everything will be alright once I return.”
Rao Sahab, noticing Vasundara’s worry, asks, “What’s wrong? Please take care of Jaya. I know you’re upset too.” Naagraj tries to comfort them, “Rana will come back. We will talk to him when he arrives.” Ranvijay finally turns on his phone and calls Jaya. She picks up the call, and he immediately apologizes, “Sorry Jaya, I’ve had so much work here. I need one more day to close the deal.” Jaya silently weeps.
