Maati Se Bandhi Dor 7th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Vaiju serving food to everyone. Jaya arrives, and Ranvijay introduces Rohan to the family. Jaya throws a subtle taunt at Ranvijay and then goes to check the decorations. Vaiju accidentally bumps into Jaya, and they both fall. Ranvijay rushes over to help Vaiju, but in the commotion, Jaya gets electrocuted in the dream. He shouts out her name and wakes up startled. Jaya, concerned, asks if he’s okay. He tells her it was just a bad dream and recalls the vividness of it. Later, Ranvijay has a conversation with Rao Sahab. Rao Sahab advises him to have faith in his marriage, pointing out that Jaya is getting hurt because of his actions. He adds that although Ranvijay loves Jaya deeply, bitterness has crept into their relationship.
Rao Sahab reflects on Rohan’s words. Meanwhile, Vaiju brings a canvas for Jaya, expressing her happiness that Jaya is going back to painting after such a long time. Jaya fondly remembers how she used to paint for hours, and Vaiju would always make sure she had food. As they talk, Rohan enters and watches them. He notices Jaya’s art and comments, “You paint as well?” Vaiju proudly tells him that Jaya is an excellent painter. Jaya offers to help Rohan with painting and starts showing him her work. Sulekha observes them from a distance and becomes suspicious of Rohan, thinking that something feels off about him and decides to investigate.
Later, Rao Sahab and Ranvijay go to meet Taai at the orphanage. Ranvijay mentions that they need to submit Rohan’s papers to the hospital for his treatment. Taai instructs an assistant to make a copy of Rohan’s file for Rao Sahab. Ranvijay excuses himself for a moment. Meanwhile, Sulekha sneaks around and checks Rohan’s bag, but Vaiju intervenes, preventing her from seeing Rohan’s drawings. Sulekha voices her doubts about Rohan, saying she doesn’t trust him.
Ranvijay shares his concerns with Taai, revealing that some boys from the orphanage have started taking drugs. Shocked, Taai asks him what he means. He explains that he’s considering filing a police complaint but hesitates, fearing it would tarnish the orphanage’s reputation and discourage potential adopters. Taai pleads with him not to involve the police, promising to handle the situation herself. Ranvijay agrees but insists they must find out who is leading the kids astray. As Taai walks away, she scolds the boys, warning them to be cautious around Rohan, as he can’t be trusted. She sends someone to talk to him.
Later, Ranvijay is seen with Vasundara, giving her medicines. Rohan watches them from a distance, smiling. Vaiju encourages Rohan to show his drawing to everyone. To their surprise, he reveals a beautiful sketch of the haveli. Impressed, Ranvijay praises him, saying they’ll help him grow, and predicts that one day, Rohan will become a great painter. Afterward, Rohan wistfully says he wishes his parents were still with him. Vaiju comforts him.
Meanwhile, Jaya is working on a painting of Bappa. Ranvijay comes over and admires her work, saying, “I absolutely love it. Do you remember? We first met because of one of your paintings.” He compliments her skills and apologizes for taking a big decision without consulting her. Jaya, graciously, tells him that he was kind to help someone in need and that it was a good decision. He hugs her, admitting that Vaiju was also there to help him, so half of the credit goes to him. Jaya, touched, says, “You always stand by the truth. I’m sorry for being so upset with you.” They share another hug, signaling a resolution in their relationship.
