Maati Se Bandhi Dor 5th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ranvijay thinking, “I am going back to Jaya, I should feel peaceful, so why am I so confused?” Vaiju goes to fetch water. Suddenly, a scorpion appears and bites Ranvijay. He screams in pain. Vaiju turns around, sees what happened, and shouts. Meanwhile, Jaya wakes up abruptly, shouting his name. She calls out for Vasundara and Rao Sahab. Vasundara rushes to her, asking if she had a bad dream. Jaya says no. Rao Sahab questions why she seems so worried and asks if Ranvijay called. Jaya replies that he didn’t but she feels like he is in serious trouble. Vasundara hugs her to comfort her.
Ranvijay gasps, “I can’t breathe.” Vaiju notices the scorpion and exclaims, “A scorpion has bitten you! Stay with me, I won’t let anything happen to you. Just keep your eyes open.” She quickly tears a piece of her saree and ties it around his foot to slow the poison. “I will call a doctor,” she says.
Ranvijay, however, stops her. “Don’t go anywhere, please,” he pleads. She reassures him, “I’m right here with you, I won’t leave, and I won’t let you leave either. Trust me, I’ll be back soon.” She runs off. As he lays there, he thinks to himself, “Is this how my life will end? When Jaya learns the truth after I’m gone, she will hate me. I wish I could see her once more to tell her I didn’t betray her.” Meanwhile, Jaya feels increasingly anxious. “I feel like he’s slipping away from me,” she says. Sulekha arrives with others, and Jaya shares, “I saw him leaving me.” She remembers his parting words. Vasundara tries to console her, saying, “It’s only because he left the house that you’re having these dreams.” Jaya insists, “No, it feels too real, as if it’s happening right now.” Sulekha chimes in, “Yes, we can sometimes sense future dangers in our dreams.”
Vaiju rushes to Aaji and the villagers, explaining what happened. “I can’t let anything happen to him, I won’t lose him,” she says, frantic with worry. Milind tries to reassure her, “Stop crying, nothing will happen to Ranvijay.” Kailash, however, questions, “Can anyone survive a scorpion bite?” Back at home, Vasundara tells Sulekha not to scare Jaya any further. Jaya tearfully says, “Morning dreams always come true.” Vasundara tries to ease her worry, “No, that’s not true. Call him and talk to him.” Ragini offers to call him and give him a piece of her mind for worrying Jaya.
As Jaya sobs, Vasundara comforts her. Meanwhile, Kailash pessimistically says, “It will be tough to save him now.” Vaiju, angered, grabs a sickle and snaps, “Don’t speak ill of Ranvijay!” Milind steps in, saying, “We don’t have time for this, calm down.” Vaiju, desperate, demands Milind take action. Jaya tries calling Ranvijay, crying as she waits for him to answer. Vaiju checks on Ranvijay and decides to take him to the hospital, dragging his bed as best as she can. Jaya, still at home, continues to worry about him.
Once at the hospital, the nurse informs them, “Only one person can go inside.” Vaiju, filled with concern, says, “Please, don’t let anything happen to him.” Milind goes in with Ranvijay. Aaji asks, “What’s happening?” Vaiju explains that they’ve taken him inside for treatment. Kailash suggests calling Ranvijay’s family to avoid being blamed if something goes wrong, but Vaiju angrily shuts him down. Aaji advises her to remain calm, saying, “Nothing will happen to him.”
The doctor tells Milind, “His condition is critical, there’s no pulse.” Vaiju overhears this and is devastated. Milind assures her, “I’ll fetch the senior doctor.” The doctor warns, “He might slip into a coma; it will be hard to revive him.” As Ranvijay fights for his life, Jaya prays fervently for him. Vaiju too prays, refusing to give up hope. Aaji advises Vaiju to stop crying and have faith. Milind returns, saying, “The senior doctor is here, and treatment has started. Now is the time for courage, not tears.” Vaiju nods, trying to remain strong.
Jaya calls Joshi, asking about Ranvijay. Joshi apologizes, saying, “I haven’t spoken to him. He told me he was going out for personal work, not to meet a client.” Jaya ends the call and tells Vasundara, “Joshi said Ranvijay had no client in Pune; he lied and went for personal reasons.” Sulekha smiles knowingly.
Everyone waits anxiously for news about Ranvijay. The song “Kitni Baatein” plays as the doctors continue to treat him. Jaya, heartbroken, reflects, “You started hiding so many things from me.”
