The episode begins with Vaiju sharing details about her marriage and Ranvijay with Milind. She expresses her admiration for Ranvijay, mentioning that he encouraged her to study for her upcoming 12th exams. Milind asks why Ranvijay isn’t present, and she replies that he’s busy, insisting that he focus on his work. Milind apologizes and expresses happiness for her, noting that she’s content in her marriage.
Ranvijay mentions his plan to travel to Pune before heading to Jhumri Patan. Rao Sahab questions the need for a trip to Pune since they lack clients there. Ranvijay explains there’s a new client involved, but he admits he doesn’t know much about him. Vasundara advises him against going to Pune. Jaya adds that it’s fine if he chooses not to accompany them, emphasizing she doesn’t want to pry about the important client. Rao Sahab reminds them that business doesn’t come to a standstill overnight. Ranvijay contemplates how to communicate his true intentions to them, feeling that only Vaiju can understand. He apologizes for needing to leave and assures them he will return as a better son and husband. After he departs, Vaiju prays for strength and sheds tears. Ranvijay reflects on his journey to Jhumri Patan, recognizing the life-altering impact Vaiju has had on him, while expressing his desire to be with Jaya. Jaya, on her part, wonders what could be more important to Ranvijay than their relationship.
The next morning, Vaiju hurriedly checks the door and finds Milind waiting. He asks if anyone else is visiting and if she’s prepared for her exam. She invites him in and reassures him that she has studied well. He presents her with jalebis and vada pav, reminding her of her favorites. However, she declines, saying she can’t indulge before her exam. Wishing her good luck, Milind takes his leave. Aaji arrives and feeds Vaiju curd and sugar, with Milind joining in. Aaji comments that Ranvijay should have been there, to which Vaiju responds by showing the shagun he gifted her—a pen that reminds her of him. She hugs Aaji and leaves the house.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay is on his way, while Vaiju is also heading out with some girls who call her fortunate to have such a supportive husband. Just then, Ranvijay arrives, but his bike wobbles, causing him to fall onto Vaiju. They share an intense gaze as the girls giggle and leave the scene. Concerned, he asks if she’s alright, and she retorts that he shouldn’t have come there. He questions why she hasn’t asked him about his unexpected visit. When she inquires about his reason for being there, he becomes defensive and demands to know why she returned so suddenly. She replies that she had informed Vasundara and questions where he’s staying. He challenges her concern, prompting her to leave.
Ranvijay calls her back, accusing her of trying to save him as if she’s doing him a favor. He insists that they need to settle their differences. Vaiju argues that his life holds more value than he realizes, to which he responds that he must pay a price. She provocatively asks if he can pay her with money. He agrees he could, but she challenges him to specify what he would offer—whether a new house, a new car, luxurious gifts, or a good life—before demanding to know the true price of his life. He falls silent, contemplating her words.
