The episode begins with Ranvijay stating that they have only one option left: to reveal the truth to everyone so Jaya can gain clarity. Vaiju responds, saying she will prioritize Jaya’s happiness and that they can never be together. “Forget me and be happy with Jaya,” she pleads. As she walks away and gets into the car, they both cry. Ragini plays the veena and sings a melancholic song, observed by Rao Sahab and Vasundara. Meanwhile, Jaya waits anxiously for Ranvijay. On their way home, Rao Sahab comments that Ragini always masks her pain with her music, to which Vasundara agrees, noting how she participates in festivities cheerfully while hiding her true feelings. Rao Sahab expresses his ongoing pain and concern for Ragini, pondering what he can do to improve her life.
Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive home, where Rao Sahab and Vasundara notice Jaya looking dejected. Vasundara comments on the sadness that seems to plague every woman in their family, shedding tears for their shared burdens. Ranvijay tells Vaiju that if she wants him to forget her, she must also do the same. As Vaiju cries and turns away, Ranvijay offers a bittersweet smile before departing.
Upon entering the house, Vasundara inquires if Ranvijay’s problems have been resolved. He responds, inquiring about what she means, to which she refers to issues at the mill. He assures her that everything has become clear and walks away, leaving Ragini watching. Rao Sahab feels that the most significant problems in life remain unaddressed.
Checking his missed calls from Jaya, Ranvijay feels guilty and resolves to tell her the truth. Ragini approaches him, questioning why he didn’t go to the mill. He asks how she knows about that, suspecting Jaya may have mentioned it. She expresses concern, stating that Jaya is trying to cover for him. Ranvijay insists that the work at the mill is finished, so they didn’t need to go. Ragini questions why he hasn’t answered Jaya’s calls, prompting him to promise he will speak to her. She warns him that she senses something is wrong between him and Jaya, urging him not to let misunderstandings ruin their relationship.
Jaya asks Vaiju where both of them had been, to which Vaiju replies that the issue has been resolved, and they didn’t go to the mill. When Ranvijay arrives, Jaya expresses her worry over his missed calls. Vaiju retreats to her room, fighting back tears. Jaya, still upset, asks about his late arrival.

At dinner, Vasundara proposes planning a wonderful Diwali celebration for Jaya, then turns to Vaiju, noticing her silence. Vaiju brushes it off, saying it’s nothing. Naagraj comments on her change in demeanor, prompting light-hearted teasing from Vasundara. Vaiju laughs and reassures them that she is still the same, playfully saying they need not worry. However, Ranvijay expresses concern over her humor, stating he doesn’t appreciate such jokes. Meanwhile, Jaya heads to fetch Ranvijay’s clothes as he makes his way upstairs.
