The episode opens with Jaya expressing her longing for Ranvijay, saying he was her world and she wants him back. “Why did you leave me?” she asks. Ranvijay reassures her it’s not her fault. Jaya argues with him, tears streaming down her face, and pleads for her old Ranvijay to return. She embraces him tightly, weeping. Just then, Vaiju enters with Gangajal and is taken aback by their hug. Ranvijay notices Vaiju at the door. Jaya, feeling irritated, scolds Vaiju for not knocking. Vaiju apologizes, and Jaya instructs her to be more careful next time before shutting the door. Vaiju leaves, visibly upset, and Ranvijay feels sad seeing her distress. As he moves to open the door, Jaya stops him, asking where he’s going. He mentions needing to make an important call and that his phone is in the car, suggesting they continue their conversation later. Jaya sits down, crying and feeling sorry for herself.
“I’m scared for us,” she admits, recalling their shared memories. Meanwhile, Vaiju heads to the temple area to pray, feeling guilty for entering Ranvijay and Jaya’s room without knocking. She resolves to apologize to Jaya again. Turning to leave, she unexpectedly encounters Ranvijay and asks him to forgive her for intruding. Jaya arrives shortly after. Vaiju apologizes again, but Jaya tells her not to worry. “I’m sorry too; my mood was just off,” she says, noticing Ranvijay’s presence. Vaiju reassures Jaya that she shouldn’t feel the need to explain further. Ranvijay remarks that it wasn’t a big deal. Vaiju insists that it’s their issue to resolve, embracing Jaya and offering her own apologies. Jaya reciprocates, and Vaiju departs. Jaya’s thoughts drift to Ranvijay’s lies.
Milind arrives to visit Aaji and inquires about Vaiju. She informs him that Vaiju is at her Sasural and suggests he shouldn’t call her. Milind wonders if Aaji has met Vaiju’s in-laws. Aaji responds that she hasn’t but believes Ranvijay is a nice person, which likely reflects well on them. She praises Ranvijay, prompting Milind to decide to leave while still contemplating Vaiju. He expresses his distrust of Ranvijay.
The next morning, Vaiju grinds spices, and Ranvijay approaches her, asking why she’s ignoring him. She replies, “I don’t want to talk to you.” He insists it’s not like that, but she urges him to leave, worried about being seen together. He questions why she apologized to Jaya, then declares that he will do what he wants. He walks away, and Vaiju is left in tears. Vasundara encourages Ranvijay to share his feelings with her. He mentions that a friend is misunderstanding him. Vasundara suggests that his friend might be upset but will calm down in time. She offers to help if he wants, which surprises him, as he wonders how she knows he’s talking about Vaiju. She adds, “You are worried about Jaya, right?” Ranvijay is taken aback and asks how she knew, to which she replies that those who are close to the heart can cause pain. She exits, leaving him to think about how Vaiju is unwilling to listen to him.
Ranvijay receives a call from Joshi while Ragini questions how Vaiju managed to grind the spices so quickly. Sulekha jokes that it must be because of her face. Vaiju insists she was just upset with herself. Ranvijay enters, announcing that they need to leave for the mill urgently due to farmers’ protests, which he recalls from Joshi’s earlier warning. Vaiju, however, says she needs to study and insists she isn’t making excuses, prompting Jaya to agree with her.
