The episode starts with Jaya calling Vaiju. Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive at the hotel. Ragini advises Jaya to let things go. Sulekha steps in and apologizes to Jaya, insisting that she’s telling the truth. Jaya sarcastically asks if Sulekha considers herself a well-wisher. Sulekha affirms this, adding how Kaveri had trusted her husband, only to see what happened, and the same thing occurred with Ragini, who also blindly trusted her husband. Ragini leaves quietly. Jaya reassures them that Ranvijay will finish his work and join them soon. Sulekha, however, spots Ranvijay and Vaiju together, saying they aren’t busy with any work, and Vaiju isn’t studying either. She points them out to Jaya.
Ranvijay, meanwhile, is checking his phone for a picture that Vaibhav promised to send. Jaya, feeling hurt, says he hasn’t even read her messages. Sulekha, seeing the situation, says, “You see, they’re always together. Now do you believe me?” Jaya tries to brush it off, suggesting that perhaps Vaiju confided in Ranvijay, and they ended up here by coincidence. Ranvijay, now focused on the task, advises Vaiju to be cautious. Sulekha persists, saying Jaya can close her eyes to the truth if she wants. Jaya, still hopeful, says, “I’ll prove to you that you’re wrong.”
Vaiju suggests they confront the man they’re following, but Ranvijay advises her against it, saying it’s the police’s job. He gets a call from Jaya but chooses not to answer, thinking it’s best not to tell her anything for now to avoid causing her stress. Jaya, along with Sulekha, heads out to find Ranvijay. Meanwhile, Ranvijay leans on Vaiju’s shoulder to avoid being seen by the man they’re tailing. Sulekha sees this and comments on their lack of shame.
Ranvijay instructs Vaiju to discreetly place an earpod on the man’s table to record his conversation. Vaiju cleverly hides it in a tissue paper, drops it, and signals Ranvijay, who begins listening to the conversation. The man says, “Ranvijay shouldn’t escape. We have to kill him. The matron is getting out of jail.” At that moment, Jaya catches up with Ranvijay and grabs his arm. He isn’t surprised to see her and tells her he’ll explain later, but she insists he tells her now.
Jaya, upset, presses him for answers, and he reluctantly tells her the truth. Shocked, Jaya asks why he didn’t inform her earlier. Ranvijay explains that he didn’t want to worry her. Sulekha arrives and immediately accuses him of involving Vaiju in their personal matters. Jaya shuts her down, saying she won’t tolerate anything being said against Ranvijay and Vaiju. “This is our personal matter,” Jaya says firmly, “Don’t get involved.” Sulekha, undeterred, warns Jaya that Vaiju could drive a wedge between her and Ranvijay. But Jaya stands her ground, saying she trusts Ranvijay completely. She tells him to report the culprits to the police, assuring him she will handle the family issues. Ranvijay and Vaiju leave on the bike, while Sulekha looks on, seemingly satisfied.
As they ride, Ranvijay is lost in thought, remembering Sulekha’s words. He suddenly stops the bike. Looking serious, he tells Vaiju, “We need to be clear about our destination. Where do you want to go in life?” Confused, Vaiju asks what he means. Ranvijay clarifies, “Our paths should have never crossed. What happened in Jhumri Patan was a mistake, something we did to survive. We need to leave it behind. How long will you keep trying to fit into my family?” He tells her she’s young and has her whole life ahead of her. “You’re talented,” he says. “Focus on your studies, build a career, and when the time is right, find a good man and settle down.” Vaiju is stunned by his words. Ranvijay, still serious, encourages her to move on and live her life independently.
