The episode begins with Vaiju meeting Rao Sahab and Naagraj. She mentions that her exams are over and she had an interview for college admission. Rao Sahab offers his assistance, but Vaiju declines, stating that she has worked hard and wants to succeed on her own merit. Naagraj suggests he will ask the principal to pose the toughest questions to her, confident she will excel. He expresses how much they miss her at home and says it’s great that she’ll be staying with them. Vaiju responds that she cannot accept more favors from them. He questions her reasoning, reminding her that she has family there. She acknowledges this but emphasizes the need to focus on her studies. Rao Sahab suggests she can study at home as well. Naagraj adds that Jaya can assist her with her studies. Vaiju insists that they shouldn’t involve her.
Milind arrives, and she introduces him to Rao Sahab and Naagraj before heading off for her interview. Rao Sahab wonders why she seems upset with them and why she didn’t mention her presence. Naagraj notes that she introduced them as strangers. Vaiju feels guilty about that. Rao Sahab then calls Ranvijay, asking him to pick them up from the university since their car broke down. Naagraj prevents him from mentioning Vaiju, reminding him that she requested not to let anyone know about her.
Vaiju tells Milind that her interview went poorly because of him. Milind apologizes, and she laughs it off, saying sorry but she passed, and asks him to help her fill out the form, teasing that anyone could trick him. He bumps into some ladies and picks up the scattered papers. Ranvijay arrives, but Vaiju and Ranvijay miss seeing each other as they leave. Meanwhile, Vasundara, Jaya, and Sulekha are busy making Diwali plans. Ranvijay, Rao Sahab, and Naagraj return home. Vasundara inquires about their day, while Jaya observes that both men seem troubled. Ranvijay echoes her concern.
Rao Sahab reveals they encountered Vaiju, which surprises Jaya. Ranvijay ponders over Vaiju and then leaves. Jaya watches him, concerned. Milind expresses his enthusiasm for the hostel room and gets into a disagreement with Vaiju regarding Ranvijay. She asserts that she sees him as her husband and will always uphold her duties.
Sulekha advises against dwelling on Vaiju, expressing her disdain for someone who would abandon them. Ranvijay believes that Vaiju cannot disregard their love and care. Milind lectures Vaiju about moving on. She tells him to be quiet and leave her alone, stating it’s not easy to forget someone. She wishes to let go of her past and move forward. Ranvijay arrives at the hostel, ready to confess his feelings and propose marriage to her.
As Ranvijay asks about Vaiju, he hurries to find her. Vaiju, frustrated, scolds Milind. Hearing Ranvijay’s voice, she rushes to see what’s happening. Guards stop him, and the warden instructs Vaiju to explain the girls’ hostel rules to Ranvijay. Vaiju agrees to do so.
