Maati Se Bandhi Dor 20th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Jaya reminiscing about Ranvijay. She gazes at their wedding picture and speaks to him. Tears well up in her eyes as she says, “I wore the saree you chose for your bride, I got ready according to your preference, hoping that when you see me, you’d be mesmerized.” Vaiju asks Kaveri to call Jaya. Kaveri tells her, “It’s your big day, focus on that, eat something.” Jaya insists, “I’m feeling tense, please call her once.” Kaveri agrees. Jaya writes a letter for Ranvijay. Kaveri calls Jaya. Jaya asks how Vaiju’s function went. Kaveri replies, “It was good, your in-laws are here.” Jaya asks, “Are they happy?” Kaveri says, “Yes, but they miss you a lot. Should I bring you some food?” Jaya replies, “No, I already ate, I’ll sleep early, Ranvijay is coming to get me tomorrow. Celebrate with Vaiju.” Kaveri responds, “Ranvijay isn’t here; he went for mill work.” Jaya says, “Okay, I’ll sleep now,” and ends the call.
Jaya sobs and calls Ranvijay. She asks how the event went. Ranvijay responds, “It was normal, I didn’t want to go.” She says, “You had to, I know.” He asks, “When should I come tomorrow?” She says, “Morning, I’m ready even now.” He replies, “Should I come now?” She says, “I got ready as a bride, I can’t leave like this.” He asks, “What are you saying?” She says, “Patience, I won’t embarrass you more. I just wanted to hear your voice.” He says, “I need to talk to you about something important, can we talk later?” She says, “All my time is yours.” He asks, “What do you mean?” She replies, “I mean, it’s still yours today.” He says, “I’ll wait until tomorrow.” She says, “Goodbye Ranvijay,” and ends the call. Ranvijay reflects on her words. Jaya hugs the photo and cries. The picture frame falls and shatters. The song “Ab vidaa karo…” plays. Ranvijay thinks of Jaya and grows concerned. He stops his bike and tries calling her, but the call doesn’t connect. He says, “I hope she’s okay.” Jaya whispers, “I love you Ranvijay,” as she picks up a shard of glass and cuts her wrist. Ranvijay arrives at her house and knocks on the door, calling her name. He breaks down the door and rushes inside. He enters her room and sees her sitting on the bedside. He says, “I’ve been looking for you, why are you sitting here?” He notices the room is decorated. He calls her name again. He holds her as she falls back. He thinks of her.
He exclaims, “What have you done, Jaya?” He picks her up and rushes out the door. He asks a passerby for help, pleading for a ride. He gets Jaya to the hospital and says, “Nothing will happen to Jaya.” Meanwhile, Naagraj asks Vaiju, “What’s the problem? You should be happy to receive the award.” Vaiju says, “I feel tense, as if something bad is about to happen.” Sulekha says, “Jaya left because of you.” Vasundara replies, “I met with Jaya, she is coming home tomorrow. We will talk once she arrives.”
Ragini receives a call from Ranvijay and listens in horror. She drops the phone and begins crying. “Jaya is in the hospital,” she sobs. Vasundara asks why. Ragini chokes out, “She tried to commit suicide.” The others are shocked.
