Maati Se Bandhi Dor 17th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ranvijay expressing, “I have done all the rasams from my heart.” Vaiju replies, “Let it be, it doesn’t matter.” He insists, “It matters a lot. I couldn’t bear to stay there when you left; it felt like you did me a favor. I came here to pay you back, hoping to find my answers. Trust me, there was no drama. I wasn’t helpless in playing your husband’s role; I genuinely wanted to see you happy. You know all my truths and my struggles; you know how trapped I am. On one side is my love, and on the other, my responsibility. I’m losing.” She contemplates freeing him the next day. Aaji asks Milind about Vaiju and Ranvijay. He reassures her, saying not to worry, as the police will find her, but acknowledges that Ranvijay did wrong. Aaji responds, “Ranvijay is her husband; he loves Vaiju deeply. They argue, but every couple has their fights. Last time it rained like this, her life changed forever.”
Ranvijay continues, “I don’t know if you will miss me, but nothing about the three days we spent together was a lie.” Vaiju smiles in response. He adds, “Promise me you trust me. Do you still think I’m acting?” She shakes her head, indicating no.
“I trust you and your every word,” she assures him. They share a long gaze. Baawra… plays softly in the background. He sneezes, and they both laugh. She comments, “Rains don’t suit you,” to which he replies, “But you like them.” She agrees, “Yes, a lot.” She then lights a fire, and Tum mile… plays. Curious, she asks, “Can I ask you something? Why did you get so angry?” He responds, “How could they look at you that way?” She jokes, prompting laughter between them. He reflects, “I thought of you as my friend and responsibility, but I wondered if I felt the same about Jaya. What’s this dilemma in my mind?”
As they drift off to sleep, morning arrives, and they wake up to see each other. They leave the room, and he thinks about Jaya and Vaiju. Meanwhile, Jaya prepares for her job, thanking Kaveri and expressing hope for her professional life. Kaveri inquires if Ranvijay called her. She turns on her phone, stating, “He would like to call you.” Jaya replies, “I’m not interested in talking to him,” and leaves. Kaveri feels concerned. Aaji declares she won’t eat until Ranvijay and Vaiju return.
When Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive home, Aaji rushes to hug Vaiju. Milind informs them that she hadn’t eaten since night because she was worried for her. Vaiju urges him to have some food. She shares the entire story, leaving them shocked. Milind asserts, “Fine, I’ll arrest those men and make sure they face consequences.” Aaji remarks, “You’re lucky to have Ranvijay always by your side,” and thanks him.
Milind calls his staff to track down those men. Ranvijay then suggests, “Arrest me now.” He adds, “I promised I would surrender after coming back.” Milind insists, “Just keep your promises to Vaiju; she shouldn’t cry. I’m honoring my friendship; no one can hurt her, not even you.” Ranvijay walks away, thinking of Jaya. He remarks to himself, “It’s hard to find a network here.” When he tries to call Jaya, he discovers her number is off. “Maybe she’s upset,” he thinks. Jaya finds herself reminiscing about him. Vaiju’s friends tease her about Ranvijay. Aaji approaches, sharing that Vaiju had a childhood dream. She shows pictures and mentions, “Vaiju went crazy after watching that movie.” Ranvijay overhears the conversation about Karwachauth. He reflects, “Jaya might be waiting for me. What am I thinking? Perhaps Vaiju means much more to me than just responsibility. I won’t leave without telling her this.” Meanwhile, a lady suggests to Jaya that she should buy Gajra or mehendi for Karwachauth, and Jaya finds herself missing Ranvijay.
