The episode starts with Vasundara pondering if Jaya will come back. Kaveri enters the house, lost in thought about Vaiju and Rana. She wonders, no, Vaiju can’t be the cause of this, but why does it feel like Vaiju is the barrier between Jaya and Rana. Jaya overhears and is concerned. Vaiju prays and sobs, feeling responsible for everything. She says all this is happening because of her, and that Sulekha was right—the family’s happiness was affected by her bad luck. She believes she must leave. Ragini arrives and tells Vaiju that she’s enduring everything alone—what is she gaining from it, other than sorrow, taunts, and blame. Vaiju breaks down.

Jaya reflects on Ranvijay’s words about Vaiju, tears welling up in her eyes. She realizes he loves Vaiju. She says to herself, Vaiju and Ranvijay can’t be involved in this. Kaveri enters. Jaya asks her to tell her it isn’t true. She panics, feeling as though she can’t accept this. Kaveri says, “No, don’t say that. I’m here for you.” Jaya grows more frantic. Kaveri reassures her, “I will do anything for you. Vaiju must leave that house. I must save Jaya’s house.” She sees Jaya crying and tears up herself. Jaya thinks of Ranvijay. *Pyaar hai ya saza* plays in the background.

Ranvijay decides it’s important to tell Jaya the truth about his marriage to Vaiju. A man arrives to meet Ranvijay. Naagraj asks everyone to come and watch the news. They all gather around to see Ranvijay’s interview, where he talks about Vaiju’s achievements. Sulekha makes a sharp comment about Vaiju, but Ragini stops her. Rao Sahab congratulates Vaiju. Vaiju thanks him, adding that she hopes Jaya will come back home, as she had no idea about the award.

Jaya watches the interview and weeps, hugging the TV. Ranvijay calls her. She answers, saying, “I saw the interview. You were right about Vaiju. I could see your love and respect for her.” He asks if she’s okay. She replies, “No, but I’m trying.” He says, “I want to bring you back home.” She replies, “You’ll be busy with Vaiju tomorrow.” He assures her, “No, I won’t be. I have work at the mill, but I will come to meet you.” He adds, “There’s something I need to tell you.” She interrupts, “That there’s someone else in your life?” He’s taken aback. He responds, “It’s complicated, but I’ll come to your house and explain everything. Then you can decide if you want to come home.” She says, “I’ll wait for you like a bride and come back with you.” He promises, “Yes, but listen to me first.” She replies, “I know what you want to say. I’ll wait for you. Just come after the function—it’s an important day for Vaiju.” He thinks to himself, “I must tell Jaya the truth.”
