Maati Se Bandhi Dor 16th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ranvijay and Vaiju watching the ad video together. Vaiju is delighted and shows the video to everyone, her excitement clear. Ranvijay smiles at her happiness. She takes a selfie and notices Ranvijay looking thoughtful. “What happened?” she asks. He responds with a smile, “Always stay happy like this, you look great when you smile.” He urges her to come along.
The manager approaches them, saying they forgot to give her balloons, something they offer to all new customers. Vaiju gleefully accepts them. Ranvijay teases her, asking her to return them, saying, “You’re not a kid anymore.” She jokes back and returns the balloons to the manager. “Stop the drama,” Ranvijay quips, but Vaiju, not missing a beat, playfully inhales helium from one of the balloons. “How about now?” she asks in a high-pitched voice. Laughing, Ranvijay follows suit, inhaling helium and imitating her. The two share a light-hearted moment, laughing together. “Alright, it’s time for Ganpati Visarjan,” Ranvijay finally says, and they leave.
They stop by to buy some modaks. Ranvijay comments, “Jaya likes chocolate-flavored ones, just like you.” Vaiju shakes her head, clarifying, “I don’t like chocolate. I’m buying them for Jaya.” She pays using her own account, and Ranvijay, impressed, clicks her picture, saying, “I’ll send this to Jaya.” Vaiju calls Jaya, praying silently for her well-being as she waits for her to answer.
When they arrive home, Ranvijay checks again for any messages from Jaya. Her phone is still switched off. Vasundara reassures them, “She’ll be home soon, don’t worry.” Ranvijay, growing anxious, calls Meenakshi to check if Jaya has reached her destination. Meenakshi, sounding concerned, replies, “No, she hasn’t arrived. We assumed she was delayed because of the Ganpati function at home.” Ranvijay’s heart sinks. “Jaya hasn’t reached there,” he says, his worry mounting.
Just then, Rohan calls and shares troubling news. “My friend called to say there’s been a bridge collapse. Many people are trapped.” Ranvijay’s face pales as he realizes Jaya might have been on that very bridge. He quickly turns on the news, and the family watches in horror as reports confirm the incident. Jaikant looks closely at the footage and says, “That’s Ranvijay’s car!” Rao Sahab, equally shocked, confirms, “Yes, it is.”
Everyone is shaken. Vaiju, fighting her own fear, comforts Ranvijay. “Jaya is strong. Nothing will happen to her. She’s just stuck there. We’ll bring her back home.” Ranvijay, unable to contain his distress, rushes with the family to the scene. Rao Sahab makes frantic calls to gather information, but Naagraj informs him, “It will take time to get any real details.” Arhaan, panicking, pleads with Ragini, “Do something! We can’t just sit here if something happens to Jaya!” Vasundara, staying composed, assures him, “Nothing will happen to her. Let’s go and pray.”
Rao Sahab then turns to Jaikant, “We should go join Ranvijay now.” The entire family quickly heads out, all deeply worried. Ranvijay, however, can only think of Jaya. He breaks down, crying for her. The episode ends with a shot of Jaya lying unconscious amidst the rubble, her fate unknown.
