Maati Se Bandhi Dor 16th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Ragini asking why Jaya went there, expressing her anger at how Jaya had insulted them. Vaiju calmly replies that no one will say anything to Jaya, as today, she must stand up for herself. Ranvijay declares that Jaya has crossed all boundaries, and that they now have no relationship with either Jaya or Kaveri. The women wish Kunal and Jaya well. Kunal stops them, saying, “Hold on a minute, let’s not spoil our day because of them. Let’s forget everything today.” A man enters with a gift for Jaya, asking her to open it. Kunal curiously asks what it is. Jaya responds that she has no idea, as she checks the contents. To her shock, it’s Kunal’s divorce petition, unsigned by Rusha. The sight takes her back to Kunal’s words.
Kunal stands frozen, recalling the conversation he had with his parents about the pending divorce. Jaya looks at him, saying, “Your divorce with Rusha never happened.” Kunal tries to explain, “I was about to tell you everything.” Jaya, in tears, walks away, feeling utterly shattered. “I will decide what happens with my life now,” she murmurs to herself.
Rao Sahab approaches Vaiju and expresses concern, saying Jaya had misbehaved with her, which was unacceptable. Vaiju replies calmly, saying it’s fine, and she has something special to show him. She hands him Rohan’s drawing. “This came for me, but I know it’s special for you,” she says. “It will remind you that you are Rohan’s father.” Vasundara enters, claiming she received the envelope. Rao Sahab, stunned, drops the drawing. Vasundara picks it up, staring at Vaiju with suspicion. “Now I understand whose son Rohan is,” she exclaims, visibly angered as she glares at Rao Sahab.
She drags Vaiju away, and Rao Sahab begs her not to mistreat Vaiju. Vasundara retorts, “This was a personal matter, but Vaiju lied to me.” Vaiju defends herself, saying, “I had to keep the truth hidden, or else the family would have been torn apart.” Ragini, confused, asks Vasundara what she means by this.
Vasundara scolds Vaiju harshly. Vaiju says, “I swear, when I brought Rohan home, I had no idea about the truth. I only wanted him to receive the same love I did from the family.” Rao Sahab chimes in, saying, “He isn’t an orphan.” Vasundara demands the truth from both of them. Meanwhile, Jaya walks aimlessly on the road, eventually arriving at a construction site slated for demolition. She thinks to herself, wishing Ranvijay would find happiness with Vaiju. She reflects on her time with Ranvijay as she steps into the site.
Vasundara turns to Vaiju, demanding that she reveal the truth. Rao Sahab admits, “It was all my mistake. Rohan is Meera and my son. I was wrong with Vasundara.” Vasundara, furious, orders Vaiju to leave. “Don’t ever come back to this house. You’re no longer my daughter-in-law. I’m certain my son will support me this time.” Vaiju, heartbroken, walks away in tears.
