Maati Se Bandhi Dor 16th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Vaiju declaring, “I am Ranvijay’s wife.” Everyone is stunned. Vaiju continues, “We got married in Jhumri Patan, though it holds no legal value as it was done under duress at gunpoint, but this is the truth—Rana ji is my husband.” Ranvijay affirms, saying Vaiju is speaking the truth, and he and Vaiju are indeed married. Vasundara is in tears. Vaiju then recounts everything that happened. Ragini says that Vasundara chose Vaiju for Rana, and fate brought her into their family. Vaiju clarifies that it’s not Rana ji’s fault, but fate that brought them here. She asks the inspector not to arrest Ranvijay, but he doubts her sincerity, suggesting she may be lying to protect him. Ragini defends Vaiju, stating she has told her the truth earlier.
Vasundara questions Ragini, asking if she knew about this. Ragini admits that Vaiju had asked her to stay silent. Vasundara then tells the inspector to leave, insisting this is a family matter and they will handle it themselves. The inspector warns that he hopes they follow the law, as Ranvijay must be arrested unless Kaveri withdraws her complaint. Vaiju firmly objects, saying they cannot take him. Ranvijay asks her to calm down, urging that they allow the process to unfold. He then goes with the police, while Vaiju is left crying. Kaveri exits, and Sulekha orders the guests to leave. She scolds Vaiju for ruining everything.
Vaiju pleads, “I never wanted to hurt anyone, trust me.” But Vasundara interrupts, angrily saying, “We have no connection with you anymore.” She berates Vaiju for deceiving them, and Vaiju begs Rao Sahab to listen to her. He coldly responds, “We have no relation with you.” Vaiju insists that neither she nor Rana ji did anything wrong, and that she never intended to take Jaya’s place, but Vasundara slaps her in anger. Ragini holds Vaiju, questioning what has happened to them all. Vasundara says, “My family and I will never accept this marriage. You no longer have any connection with us, and you don’t deserve our respect or love.” She pushes Vaiju to the ground and demands she leave. “Our ties are broken, you don’t exist for us,” Vasundara declares, closing the gate in Vaiju’s face. Vaiju cries bitterly.
She swears to make things right. Meanwhile, Jaya cuts a cake, saying, “Happy birthday, Ranvijay. I miss you.” She then receives a call from Vasundara, wondering why she’s calling. Vasundara accuses her, “How dare you file a case against my son?” Jaya asks in confusion, “What case? What are you talking about?” Vasundara angrily replies, “Enough! Don’t act innocent. We loved you dearly, Ranvijay accepted your affair, and now you’ve sent the police to our house. He’s been arrested, and this is your ‘gift’ to him on his birthday. Go and withdraw the complaint, if you have any humanity left.” Jaya is shocked, asking, “What happened?” Vasundara scolds her, saying, “You punished him for marrying Vaiju, you were also involved with Kunal, and you both planned this. You broke the marriage and now you file a complaint? How could you?” Jaya begins to cry, saying, “Trust me, I didn’t do this.” Vasundara snaps, “Stop the drama, take the case back, and set him free.” The call ends. Jaya is left stunned, and then Vaiju appears, crying, and pleads for her help.
Ranvijay is placed in a lockup, where he broods, thinking about how to reach Vaiju. He requests the inspector to allow him one urgent call, but the inspector refuses. Ranvijay wonders how Jaya could do this. Vaiju arrives and calls out to him. He asks if she is alright. She replies, “I’m not alright, seeing you like this.” He expresses disbelief that Jaya would do this, but she reassures him, “No, it’s not true.” He accuses Jaya, saying, “She did wrong, I’ll never forgive her.” Vaiju stops him, saying, “Stop blaming her, she didn’t do anything. I’m with her.” Jaya then enters and requests the inspector to release Ranvijay. “I am his wife, Jaya. I didn’t file any complaint,” she asserts. The inspector explains that her name is in the complaint. Jaya insists, “I didn’t file it, release him.” Rao Sahab and Naagraj arrive, and Naagraj declares, “You can’t arrest Ranvijay on false charges.” Ranvijay is freed and embraces Rao Sahab, who tells him to go to the car. Ranvijay leaves. Jaya, still pleading, says, “Listen to me, I didn’t file the complaint.” Ranvijay asks, “Then who did? You should have punished me, why are you playing this game? Kunal must be behind all this.” Jaya asks, “Why are you bringing him into this?” He retorts, “I’m just saying the same thing.”
