Maati Se Bandhi Dor 15th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Vasundara informing everyone about the upcoming Ganpati festival. Arhaan explains the concept of a sleepover to Vaiju, who excitedly says they will sing and enjoy a lot together. Jaya sees Ranvijay and walks away, while Vaiju, Ragini, and others busily prepare for the festival. Ranvijay tries to assist Jaya, but she continues to ignore him. Rao Sahab and Vasundara observe the situation quietly. Everyone takes their seats, and Arhaan asks Vaiju to plan something fun for the night. Naagraj suggests playing Antakshari, and Vasundara agrees, prompting Vaiju to begin the game. Ragini encourages Vaiju to sing, and she melodiously performs *Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage*.
Ranvijay then sings a song directed at Jaya, apologizing for his past mistakes. He hugs her, trying to mend their strained relationship. Vaiju watches and thanks Bappa for the happy moment.
The next morning, Ranvijay hands a rose to Jaya, complimenting her. She initially brushes him off but tells him she forgave him the previous night. He asks her to accompany him and Vaiju to the bank to open Vaiju’s new account, but she declines, saying she has plans to meet her school friends for lunch. Playfully, she calls him boring, and they both laugh.
Vaiju, grateful for everything, offers prayers to Bappa, chanting in happiness. Sulekha interrupts her, but Vasundara defends Vaiju, saying she’s just performing puja. Vaiju shares her excitement about going to the bank with Ranvijay to open her first bank account, and Ragini congratulates her. Jaya enters, and Vasundara compliments her appearance but notices Jaya isn’t wearing a Gajra. Jaya responds that Ranvijay gave her a rose instead. Vasundara, with a smile, insists on the importance of Gajra on such an auspicious day and suggests wearing both the Gajra and the rose. Vaiju lovingly places the Gajra in Jaya’s hair, while Vasundara places a flower in Vaiju’s hair and blesses her.
Vaiju becomes emotional, feeling the love and acceptance from Vasundara as if she were a true part of the family. Vasundara reassures her, stating that she holds a special place in their hearts, just like Ragini. Ranvijay arrives, reminding everyone that they need to leave soon or risk getting caught in visarjan traffic. Jaya prepares to leave, and Ranvijay offers her the car while he and Vaiju will ride the bike. Vaiju expresses concern for Jaya’s safety, urging her to drive carefully. Jaya smiles, reassures her, and leaves, taking the Ganpati idol with her.
Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive at the bank, where the manager warmly welcomes them. Ranvijay informs the manager that they are here to open Vaiju’s account. The manager gives them the necessary forms to fill out, noticing how attentively Ranvijay takes care of Vaiju. He innocently asks if they are married, to which Ranvijay sternly replies that such questions are unnecessary.
Vaiju signs the form, just as Ranvijay had taught her, and the manager requests Ranvijay to sign as the guarantor. Vaiju hesitates, feeling like it’s too much responsibility, but Ranvijay stops her, confidently signing the form. He assures the manager that he has no problem taking responsibility for Vaiju. As the account is successfully opened, the manager congratulates them both, and Ranvijay thanks him.
On their way out, Ranvijay happily remarks that they have just opened a simple bank account, but to Vaiju, it feels like a significant step in their journey together. As they walk, a Ganpati jhanki (procession) passes by, and some sindoor accidentally falls on Vaiju. The moment brings back memories of past sindoor incidents, and Vaiju finds herself looking at Ranvijay, lost in thought.
