The episode begins with Sulekha scolding Vaiju for making decisions without consulting Jaikant, who she claims has the next right after Ranvijay. Everyone tries to calm her down, but Jaikant agrees, saying he’s been wronged. Vaiju tries to explain that she was only trying to help. Sulekha, however, angrily reminds Vaiju of her place, saying she’s a farmer and should stick to working in the fields, not attempting to take charge. She accuses Vaiju of trying to take over their family’s identity and vows never to let anyone replace her son’s position. Vasundara tries to intervene, asking Sulekha to stop. Meanwhile, Ranvijay is on the phone with an investor, discussing the mill’s branding. Jaya, overhearing the conversation, smiles, hoping to be chosen as the face for the mill’s advertisement.
Sulekha, noticing Ranvijay’s absence, complains that he didn’t come for the Ganpati Sthapana ceremony. Vaiju apologizes, explaining she didn’t ask Ranvijay to save Rohan. Sulekha, still upset, tells Vaiju that she overstayed her welcome and questions why she hasn’t left yet, unlike Kaveri, Jaya’s sister. Sulekha makes it clear that Vaiju doesn’t belong there, and Vaiju, visibly hurt, begins to doubt her place in the house. Jaya, on the other hand, is still hopeful that Ranvijay will select her as the face for the ad campaign. Kaveri encourages her, saying she’s perfect for the role and helps her choose a saree in preparation.
The next morning, Ranvijay asks Jaya to accompany him to the mill for some important work. Jaya, excited, thinks it’s related to the advertisement. However, when she arrives, Ranvijay shocks everyone by announcing that he wants Vaiju to be the face of Jaya Sugar Mills. Vaiju is taken aback and thinks he’s joking, but Ranvijay reassures her that he’s serious. He explains that when Sulekha questioned her identity, he realized this was the perfect way to answer her and everyone else. Vaiju is hesitant, insisting that she isn’t cut out for such a role. Despite her reluctance, Ranvijay encourages her, telling her it’s not difficult. He even tries to click her picture, but Vaiju, uncomfortable, starts making awkward faces, saying it happens naturally and that she doesn’t know how to pose.
Just then, Jaya arrives, overhearing the conversation. She’s stunned to find out that Vaiju has been chosen as the model for the ad. The director compliments Vaiju, calling her a perfect village beauty, which only makes Jaya more upset. Ranvijay asks Jaya to help convince Vaiju to go through with the campaign, knowing that she’ll listen to her. Though disappointed, Jaya encourages Vaiju to go ahead with it, saying it’s for the best. Vaiju, seeing Jaya’s support, finally agrees, but only because Jaya convinced her. Ranvijay thanks Jaya, acknowledging that only she could have persuaded Vaiju.
Meanwhile, Sulekha, noticing Rohan leaving, checks his documents and is left shocked by what she finds. Back at the shoot, Vaiju is still nervous, but with everyone’s encouragement, she prepares herself. Jaya, unable to hide her emotions any longer, quietly leaves. Ranvijay notices and follows her, asking if she’s okay. Jaya tries to brush it off, but eventually admits that she had hoped to be the face of the ad herself. She reassures him that she’s not selfish, but can’t help feeling like she’s no longer a priority for him. She says she’s noticed a change in him and it hurts her.
Ranvijay, realizing Jaya’s feelings, apologizes and explains that he needed a raw, authentic face for the ad, which is why he chose Vaiju. He assures her that she’s still important to him. Though hurt, Jaya tries to accept his reasoning, but it’s clear that she’s left feeling unappreciated.
