The episode opens with Aaji inviting Ranvijay to join the feast. He expresses his desire to treat the entire village, saying they deserve it since they have come for Vaiju’s mannat. Aaji warns him about the cost, but he insists, wanting the villagers to feel included, even if it means having lunch at a restaurant. She reminds him that the restaurant doesn’t allow villagers. He replies that they should know they also have a right to enjoy. Vaiju beams at this news. Jaya comments that Ranvijay hasn’t returned yet, and Kaveri says she should know since she is his wife. Jaya snaps but quickly apologizes, leading to a heartfelt hug between them. Ranvijay asks Aaji to inform everyone in the village so he can make the booking. Vaiju tears up with happiness, thanking him for preserving her dignity. She expresses that while she’ll send him away tomorrow, he will always remain in her heart. They share an emotional moment.
He tells her not to be overly emotional and suggests they go eat. He admits feeling sad and mentions Jaya’s worries. Aaji then informs Milind that Ranvijay must leave tomorrow. Ranvijay asks what’s going on, and Aaji explains that the lodge will be closing, but he can give the treat another time. Milind argues that Ranvijay should stay for an extra day. Ranvijay counters, noting Vaiju has her exams coming up and he doesn’t want to disrupt her studies. Aaji assures him Milind will help her.
Ranvijay turns to Milind and asks if he’ll teach Vaiju. Milind agrees and insists he’ll manage both her studies and the situation. Ranvijay playfully disputes this, but Milind suggests he should focus on his husbandly duties. Vaiju arrives and asks what the argument was about. Ranvijay leads her away, and she declares her intent to confront Milind. He advises her that disagreements can happen between friends. They go shopping for clothes, where she admires sarees and seeks his opinion. He encourages her to choose for herself, and she insists on selecting a color based on his preference. He smiles at her thoughtfulness.
He suggests buying a saree for her friend, Shilpa, but she questions why. He replies that it’s simply his wish. Upset, she walks away, and he calls after her, amused. When they return home, she insists the saree is meant for Shilpa, but he clarifies it’s actually for her. She notices a yellow saree and urges him to pick what he likes, not to do anything just for her sake. Curious, she asks how he knows yellow is her favorite. He claims he knows her well. Aaji encourages their happiness and Ranvijay presents a gift to her, which she gratefully accepts. He reflects on how he had bought a saree for Vaiju before, wondering why he feels more attached to her now, especially since he intended to leave tomorrow.
Vaiju appears, donning the yellow saree, capturing Ranvijay’s attention. As the song “Agar mai kahoon…” plays, he compliments Aaji on her beauty, which she attributes to the saree he gifted her. The pandit then explains that Vaiju must complete her mannat by lighting a diya and keeping it lit all night. Ranvijay expresses concern about how she will study for her exam, insisting he will stay by the diya since she made the mannat for him. The pandit states she must fulfill the mannat herself. Vaiju agrees to do it, but Aaji voices her concern about leaving her alone. Milind steps in, reassuring Aaji that he’ll keep her company. Vaiju supports Milind’s presence, but Ranvijay dismisses the need for anyone else, asserting he will stay with her, firmly concluding that it’s final.
