Maati Se Bandhi Dor 10th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Sulekha expressing her concerns, “Will Rana make it on time? He had plans with Vaiju today. It’s not a rule that only Rana can place the Ganpati idol, Jaikant can also perform the ritual.” Rao Sahab firmly responds, “It’s a tradition for Ranvijay to place the idol, and he promised to be here on time, so he will be.” Sulekha continues to worry, “But what if he doesn’t?” Vasundara, trying to ease the tension, asks Jaya to call Ranvijay. Jaya reminds them, “Ranvijay and Vaiju don’t have a phone; it was stolen. But don’t worry, they’ll be here soon.”
Sulekha, still uneasy, tells Jaikant to be ready. Just then, Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive, bringing the Ganpati idol along with Rohan. Rao Sahab and Rohan help carry the idol when Ranvijay briefly stumbles. Together, they all perform the Ganpati puja. Ranvijay and Jaya lead the ceremony, and Vaiju gently corrects Jaya’s actions during the rituals. They all join in for the aarti, and Ranvijay smiles, reminiscing about his words to Vaiju. He then fills Jaya’s *maang* with sindoor, while Vaiju looks on, smiling. Jaya, reflecting on the moment, says, “It’s important that you brought both Rohan and the Bappa idol on time. But it would have been perfect if we had gotten the idol together, as we had planned.”
Vaiju silently prays for happiness and peace in everyone’s lives. Later, Ranvijay approaches Jaya, apologizing. “I’m sorry,” he says. Jaya, slightly frustrated, responds, “I’m tired of hearing ‘sorry’ all the time.” Ranvijay tries to explain, “I’ve been stressed, but one good thing has come from it—our relationship has grown stronger, and our love has deepened. I promise, I’ll be more careful moving forward. I won’t hurt you again.” He walks away. Jaya, feeling reassured, says to herself, “I trust you, you’d never intentionally hurt me. Just don’t let such a situation arise again.”
Meanwhile, Vasundara is making Rangoli but complains of a backache. Vaiju notices and offers, “Jaya can make the Rangoli, you go and rest.” Ragini applies mehendi to Jaya, who hopes the color turns out dark. Vaiju, smiling, comments, “Love makes everything beautiful.” Jaya, surprised, asks, “What did you just say?” Vaiju brushes it off, “Nothing, just that you need to finish the Rangoli.” Jaya, concerned about her mehendi, says, “I’ll clean it up and then come back.” Vasundara quickly stops her, “No! Mehendi is a symbol of a married woman’s joy. Never speak of removing it.” Jaya agrees, but wonders aloud, “But who will make the Rangoli?” Rohan, overhearing, eagerly volunteers, “Can I make it?” Vaiju enthusiastically supports the idea, “Yes, that’s a great idea.” Vasundara, however, is hesitant, “You did make a beautiful Bappa idol, but Rangoli is a different art.” Rohan confidently reassures her, “Don’t worry, my mother used to make wonderful Rangolis. I can do it.” Vasundara relents, “Alright, go ahead.”
Rohan creates a stunning Rangoli. However, Sulekha isn’t pleased and remarks, “An outsider can’t make the puja Rangoli!” She scolds them, even going so far as to call them orphans. Vaiju, angered, argues back. Rohan, hurt by the words, speaks up, “Please don’t say anything hurtful to Vaiju.” Vasundara arrives just in time and reprimands Sulekha, “That’s enough, don’t say such things.” Sulekha, unrelenting, warns, “You’ve brought outsiders into your home. One day, you’ll regret it.”
