Kundali Bhagya

Kundali Bhagya 9th October 2024 Written Episode Update

Shaurya walks down the stairs with Sunny, and Nidhi asks where everyone is. They all get up and gather around him. Shaurya, with a somber expression, says that his family has explained a lot to him, and after hearing them, he realizes he might have made a mistake. He didn’t intentionally plan to ruin their homes; perhaps he wasn’t paying attention or thinking clearly. It could be that his car was too big for the narrow road, which ended up damaging their small houses. Holding both hands together in a gesture of apology, Shaurya pleads with them to forgive him and let it go.

Turning towards Preeta, whom he mockingly refers to as “Mother India,” Shaurya admits he has misbehaved with her too, acknowledging she’s Rajveer’s aunt. He concedes he shouldn’t have spoken to her in such a manner and vows to be more mindful in the future, even suggesting sarcastically that he’ll “look at her level” before speaking to her next time. Shaurya goes on to say that his family loves him dearly, but in return, he only hurts their feelings. Yet, when he’s hurt, there’s no one to ask how he feels. He admits he tends to get lost in his thoughts or bad timing and often forgets to express himself properly because he’s a son who needs love and care but feels he never got it. All he’s faced are arguments, and he doesn’t even understand why they happen or what he said that might have hurt anyone. Now, all he asks is for everyone to forget it, as he promises not to repeat it.

Everyone is shocked by Shaurya’s words. One of the women speaks up, telling him that he didn’t need to say anything. She explains they weren’t waiting to hear an apology but were only there because Karan insisted. She adds that if Shaurya has realized his mistake, that’s enough for them. Lokesh agrees, saying they’re satisfied that Shaurya understands his error, and they prepare to leave. As they walk away, Shaurya smiles.

Karan, however, starts clapping sarcastically, which leaves everyone stunned. He steps forward, standing in front of Shaurya, and says he’s proud of his son for saying so much – but not the one word he was supposed to say: “sorry.” Karan adds that Shaurya failed as a son today in his eyes. The tension rises as Karan expresses his disappointment, asking if Shaurya thinks apologizing lowers one’s respect, when in fact, it increases it. Preeta tries to calm Karan down, but he stops her, saying she should not interfere.

Shaurya, however, counters, asking how Preeta can not interfere since she’s Rajveer’s aunt, the great “Mother India.” He mockingly suggests that his dad should ask her to fetch a scale from the library and beat him until she feels satisfied. Karan, infuriated, warns Shaurya not to misbehave. Shaurya denies any misbehavior, insisting he’s done what he was told. But Karan argues that Shaurya has no shame or remorse and that this isn’t how one apologizes. Preeta tries to mediate again, but Karan firmly states that when a child believes he’s above his family, it’s not okay. He continues, saying that if a wealthy person can ruin the homes of the poor and still sleep peacefully, then it’s not okay.

Rakhi urges Karan to calm down, but Karan asserts that he is calm, speaking with full awareness of the situation. Meanwhile, Nidhi fears that Karan might hand over the Luthra empire to Rajveer, so she pleads with him not to do so. Karan states that his anger would have been appeased if Shaurya had apologized properly, but instead, Shaurya acted. Karan points out that he can see through Shaurya’s pretense. Shaurya, in response, says he bowed to those “low-class people” and apologized, just as his father wanted.

Karan, losing his patience, says it’s not the people who are low but Shaurya’s mindset. He declares that Shaurya can’t even handle a job with such an attitude and won’t let Shaurya run any business. The entire family, along with Shanaya and Daljeet, is left stunned. Karan warns that Shaurya would bankrupt the family if left to his own devices. Shaurya, with bitterness, retorts that they should save themselves and not drown with him. Karan remarks that it will only happen if he gives Shaurya the ocean to swim in. Shaurya doesn’t understand. Karan explains that Shaurya would ruin the business if it were handed to him.

Mahesh intervenes, cautioning Karan to think before speaking further. Preeta also pleads with Karan not to make hasty decisions, reminding him that Shaurya did apologize. However, Karan remains firm, stating that Shaurya has ruined everything. He explains that the Luthra empire is vast, built with great effort by his father Mahesh, his brother Rishabh, and himself, and he will not risk losing it all. Wealth, Karan says, is like God, and Shaurya doesn’t have the capacity to nurture the business.

Karan goes on to reveal that he had initially planned to give Shaurya three successful companies that didn’t require much effort. But now, he has decided to give those to Rajveer instead, as Rajveer is the more capable businessman. Shaurya, Karan declares, will be given the struggling companies that need hard work to become profitable. This announcement leaves everyone shocked, especially Shaurya, who feels emotionally crushed.

Karan concludes by saying that he is confident Rajveer will take the companies to new heights and make them proud, while Shaurya will have to prove himself by turning the loss-making companies around. He leaves Shaurya with the challenge, stating that the ball is now in his court. With that, Karan declares the matter closed for the day and walks away, leaving the Luthra family in disbelief.

Shaurya, feeling shattered, turns to Nidhi and sarcastically congratulates her. He says that Karan has given the top companies to Rajveer, leaving him with the failing ones. Nidhi tries to console Shaurya, but he brushes her off, stating that today has been his greatest loss. Nidhi insists that he still has control over the companies he’s been given, but Shaurya points out that they’re subordinate to the parent company, which is under Rajveer’s control. Frustrated, Shaurya declares that he’ll no longer listen to anyone.

Shanaya, sympathizing with Shaurya’s pain, leaves to check on him. Outside, as Shaurya heads to his car, Sunny stops him, asking where he’s going. Shaurya replies that he’ll do as he pleases and orders Sunny to get in the car. Nidhi arrives, pleading with Shaurya to listen, but he tells her that he only apologized because of her. He recalls how she begged him to do so, and he did it for her, breaking his golden rule of never apologizing. But now, he regrets it, feeling like it was all for nothing. Nidhi tries to assure him that he’s still in charge of the companies, but Shaurya, frustrated, refuses to hear any more and declares he won’t listen to anyone anymore.

Shanaya arrives and tells Shaurya that Karan was wrong for what he did. Shaurya angrily cuts her off, telling her to shut up as he didn’t ask for her opinion. Palki, seeing the tension, tries to intervene, advising Shaurya to respect those who care for him. But Shaurya, in a fit of rage, grabs Palki and pulls her towards the door, accusing her of being happy that Rajveer got what he came for in the Luthra mansion. Palki is left stunned while Shaurya storms off, his anger uncontainable.
