Kundali Bhagya

Kundali Bhagya 7th October 2024 Written Episode Update

Karan stops Nidhi from walking away. She asks what he wants, and Karan questions what she was doing. Nidhi asks the same question, to which Karan replies that he had asked her first. Nidhi responds that neither she nor Shaurya is a child. Karan agrees, saying he knows that very well. Nidhi then asks what’s with the act, and Karan retorts that they both are acting, but Nidhi questions why they are always against Shaurya when he is the son of the Luthra family and not just a regular person. Karan replies that he knows Shaurya is special to him but not to the entire world. Nidhi says people from the streets cannot misbehave with Shaurya, calling them low-caste people. Karan responds that her thoughts are low. Nidhi asks when Shaurya has ever been a normal person. Karan says a person becomes better by apologizing, but Nidhi doesn’t believe it, accusing Karan of wanting to humiliate and bring Shaurya down. Karan clarifies that he wants Shaurya to apologize to everyone. He explains that he has made huge mistakes in his life, but whenever he realized his errors, he apologized and moved on, leaving nothing to regret.

Nidhi counters that Karan might have been like that because he was mature, but Shaurya is just a child. Karan argues that no one is born mature and that if people think Karan Luthra is mature, it’s because he learned from his mistakes. He adds that if life is full of struggles, one must fight them to become a better person. Nidhi points out that Shaurya may be Karan’s son, but he’s not like him. Karan agrees, saying that if he had raised Shaurya, he would have been more like him. Nidhi, feeling provoked, asks if Karan is suggesting she didn’t raise Shaurya properly. She adds that raising children isn’t just about taking care of them but also worrying about their smallest desires. She claims Shaurya always looked up to the Luthra family, but they did nothing for him while an outsider came to torture him. Karan counters, saying Preeta is not an outsider and Nidhi knows the connection between Preeta and Shaurya. Nidhi insists that she raised Shaurya and could see how he was feeling.

Karan questions if Nidhi understands the meaning of a mother, explaining that mothers know everything about their child and provide relief. Nidhi sarcastically asks if Karan thinks Preeta is a better mother. Karan clarifies that he wasn’t talking about Preeta but his own mother, who can sense his troubles and make him feel better just by calling him. Nidhi, feeling cornered, asks if Karan is now going to teach her how to be a good mother. Karan wishes he could, saying that if a child lays their head in a mother’s lap, they feel everything is fine, and mothers should create that feeling. Nidhi then accuses Karan, asking if his mother ever stayed quiet when someone from outside tried to harm him. Karan defends his mother, saying she never hid his mistakes. She made him face the truth, and he wonders why Nidhi isn’t doing the same. He’s been trying to tell Nidhi that spoiling Shaurya will ruin his life. Karan explains that Nidhi always tells Shaurya he’s fine and the rest of the world is wrong, just to get in his good books. A child whose mother isn’t right can never learn good manners.

Nidhi, furious and emotional, retorts that she has dedicated her life to Shaurya, yet Karan never gave her a place in his life, and now he’s blaming her. Karan calmly says there’s no need to prove anything; everyone can see it. He directly tells Nidhi that if Preeta had raised Shaurya, he wouldn’t have turned out this way. He adds that if his own mother hadn’t disciplined him, he would have been like Shaurya, but Shaurya would have turned out more like Rajveer, who is an ideal son and an ideal Luthra. With that, Karan walks away, leaving Nidhi humiliated and emotional.

Shanaya tells Palki she advised her to stay away from Shaurya, saying he can handle everything himself. Palki responds that she’s not interested and that Shanaya should tell Shaurya to stay away from her as well, as he irritates her. Shanaya, teasingly, says she feels Palki goes to him first, and that’s why they end up fighting. Palki, irritated, says she can’t understand why Shanaya supports him so much and suggests Shanaya should tell Shaurya that she doesn’t even want to see his face.

Palki walks away angrily when Rajveer approaches, asking why she’s so upset. Palki replies that she had a fight with Shanaya. When Rajveer asks for details, Palki questions why he wants to know when he can’t do anything about it. Rajveer admits she has a point, but Palki clarifies that she isn’t keeping secrets from him. She told Shanaya to talk some sense into Shaurya, but Shanaya defended him. Rajveer, attempting to calm her, explains that Shanaya is Shaurya’s fiancée and might be in love with him. Palki counters that just because someone loves someone doesn’t mean they can’t be wrong. Rajveer acknowledges that love can make people blind to their partner’s faults, just as Palki might think he’s always right. Palki denies this, insisting Rajveer is genuinely always right, unlike Shaurya.

Rajveer smiles, which makes Palki ask why he’s smiling. Rajveer says it’s because she knows him better than he knows himself. Palki shyly admits that she loves him, getting a bit nervous after confessing her feelings. Rajveer continues to smile while Palki gazes at him. He remarks that only the fortunate get love, and Palki replies that fortunate people also get loved. Palki tries to steer the conversation back to seriousness, but Rajveer continues to tease her, asking if she’s fallen into his love trap. Palki, now irritated, warns him to be serious, but Rajveer assures her that he is serious—seriously in love with her. Palki smiles despite herself.

At the Luthra house, Preeta is worried along with the rest of the family. Mahesh wonders why Shaurya hasn’t returned yet. Karina mentions that Nidhi left first, followed by Karan and Rajveer, and none of them have come back. Bani Dadi feels like they’re making a big deal out of it. Preeta, feeling guilty, says she might have overreacted by hitting Shaurya too harshly and that she should have controlled herself. Rakhi tries to reassure her, saying Preeta didn’t do anything wrong. Preeta counters that Shaurya hasn’t returned, and they’re all anxiously waiting for him. Rakhi explains that parents sometimes have to scold and discipline their children, and Preeta did the right thing by not letting Shaurya off the hook like Nidhi always does. Preeta, still conflicted, responds that she isn’t his mother. In the heat of the moment, Rakhi says Preeta *is* his mother. Realizing her slip, she quickly explains that Shaurya is like Rajveer to Preeta, and if Rajveer had made such a mistake, wouldn’t she discipline him as well? Preeta admits she would have, but still feels uneasy, as if part of her is in pain. Deciding to go check on Shaurya, Preeta leaves. Mahesh goes to sit with the guests, while Rakhi, now tense, also exits. Karina confides in Bani Dadi that she doesn’t like the feeling she gets when Preeta is around. Bani Dadi asks why.

Rajveer asks Palki why she’s looking down, but he likes it when she does. Palki says she was talking about Shaurya, but Rajveer shrugs it off, saying she acts as if Shaurya is a child whose actions don’t have any serious consequences. Palki points out that she’s said a lot to him, but he always stays calm. Rajveer says he’s already fought with Shaurya enough, and there’s no point in creating more conflict. Palki pleads with him to do something, but Rajveer refuses, explaining that it would only cause tension for his parents, especially his mom, which he doesn’t want. Palki, now equally concerned, worries for Preeta as well.

Rajveer tells Palki that Preeta punished Shaurya by hitting him with a metal stick, and if he says anything more, it would only escalate the situation. Palki, concerned, says she believes Shaurya might continue making even bigger mistakes. Rajveer agrees, saying that Shaurya already hates him and would hate him more if he interfered. Palki asks if this means Rajveer will do nothing. Rajveer replies that he will if Shaurya goes too far. Palki agrees, noting that Shaurya is lucky to have a brother like Rajveer. Rajveer quips that if Shaurya had a sister like Palki, she would have straightened him out. Palki jokes that Rajveer should be careful around her, and they continue teasing each other. Rajveer asks about their relationship, and Palki shyly compliments him, saying she would spend her life with someone like him. Rajveer tries to leave, saying he’ll tell everyone to leave

since Shaurya isn’t home, but Palki stops him, reminding him of what they said earlier about being lucky to have each other. Rajveer smiles, showing her his ring, and walks away.

Bani Dadi asks Karina why she feels bad when Preeta is around. Karina explains that Preeta doesn’t remember anything and has no right to interfere in their family matters. She adds that Preeta punished Shaurya, who isn’t a child, and punishment might only boost his ego. Karina wonders why Rakhi doesn’t understand this. Bani Dadi defends Rakhi, saying she understood, which is why she supported Preeta. Karina, disagreeing, says Rakhi is taking Preeta’s side, which will make Shaurya feel betrayed by his own family. Karina adds that Rakhi always sides with Preeta, just as she did in the past when she gave Preeta full responsibility for the house. She expresses frustration that Rakhi is now acting like Preeta is Shaurya’s mother. At this point, Bani Dadi signals Karina to stop talking, but Karina doesn’t notice until Rakhi herself interrupts. Rakhi firmly states that Preeta *is* the daughter-in-law of this house and the mother of Shaurya. Karina disagrees, insisting that she doesn’t recognize Preeta as Shaurya’s mother. In her eyes, Nidhi raised Shaurya, and by that logic, Nidhi is his mother. Karina references the story of Krishna, saying Yashoda raised him, and thus Nidhi holds that place. Karina asks Rakhi if she’s clear.

Mahesh steps in, asking them to discuss this later, as Shaurya is the more pressing issue. Bani Dadi agrees, and Rakhi mentions that she can’t find Pandit ji. Mahesh says he saw Pandit ji on the phone outside, but Rakhi worries about where Preeta went, as she said she was going to meet Shaurya.

Nidhi storms out angrily when Preeta approaches her, asking where Shaurya is. Nidhi sarcastically replies, “In my heart,” to which Preeta says that’s good. Nidhi, however, snidely asks Preeta where she is right now. Preeta replies that she’s in Karan’s house, and Nidhi sharply remarks that it means Preeta is not in her own house and has no right to punish someone else’s child in someone else’s house. Nidhi continues, saying she would never have done what Preeta did to Shaurya today, as every strike on Shaurya’s hand is imprinted in her mind. Preeta responds calmly, saying that if Nidhi’s motherhood had been true, she would have taught Shaurya a lesson when he made his first mistake. Nidhi is left shocked.
