Kundali Bhagya 23rd October 2024 Written Episode Update
Palki is in the kitchen when Rajveer arrives, saying he is also hungry and it would have been nice if he had brought something to eat. Palki starts looking around and mentions that the caterer hasn’t prepared anything, so she offers to serve him food here. Rajveer asks her what she’s doing, and she replies that she’s just serving him. He insists he’s neither a king nor an ill person, to which she quips that the enemies should be ill. Rajveer points out that she always agrees to do whatever he asks. He emphasizes that they are going to be life partners and he doesn’t want anyone to think of her as his caregiver; he believes it’s time for equality and that he can serve her too. Palki expresses that Rajveer is very rare in the world, adding that she can’t help herself when it comes to those she cares about. Rajveer still doesn’t want her to feel obligated to serve him just because he’s hungry. He asks if she is also hungry and suggests they make a sandwich together. Palki agrees to half and half, but Rajveer insists it’s about equality, not business. She marvels at how caring and simple he is, calling him one of a kind. Palki brings the bread, and they both smile as they put the sandwich in the toaster. Palki gets a bit nervous when Rajveer teases her, and as they take the sandwich out, Rajveer accidentally burns his hand. Palki signals him to wait, and he first asks her to have a bite of the sandwich, which she happily shares with him.
Meanwhile, Anshuman and Varun are walking briskly as they reach Nidhi, who is with Arohi. Nidhi states that they’ve had enough of wasting time and it’s time to act. She expresses her desire for Preeta to be dead very soon and checks if they remember what they need to do. Anshuman, feeling slighted, reminds Nidhi that he’s older than her and she shouldn’t mock him. Nidhi insists that the time for action has come, wanting Preeta dead before the pooja. Varun questions her urgency, suggesting they should be patient since they are there to kill Preeta. Nidhi argues that time is running out, and she wants to ensure that Preeta doesn’t perform the pooja with Karan, as it would allow her to celebrate Dashera with him. Anshuman reassures her that it will happen, while Varun agrees that Preeta’s death has been postponed and sees this as a good thing. Nidhi urges them to stop waiting, and as Anshuman and Varun leave, she smiles at Arohi, stating it’s only a matter of time before everyone loses something, while she regains her position and Preeta meets her end that day. Arohi asks if Nidhi genuinely believes Preeta will die today, and Nidhi confirms that Preeta’s death is destined to occur that day in the Luthra house; if Anshuman and Varun fail, she will take matters into her own hands.
Shaurya is walking when Sunny calls out to him, mentioning he enjoyed the story of Ram jee. Shaurya replies he likes it too but Sunny expresses doubt about Shaurya’s sincerity, sensing something different in his smile. Shaurya suggests that Sunny should think more critically and shares that he’s fascinated by the character of Rawan for reasons he can’t quite articulate. Palki walks by Shaurya, catching his gaze. She turns to look at him but seems furious. When she turns away, Shaurya continues to stare, and Palki turns back slightly. Rajveer approaches Palki and touches her shoulder, startling her. Shaurya tells Sunny he sometimes questions if Rajveer is truly his brother. When Sunny asks why, Shaurya explains he believes Rajveer could choose someone better than Palki. Sunny notes that Shaurya has previously stated he knows him well and suggests that Shaurya might not genuinely hate Palki; people often like those they claim to dislike. Shaurya insists he’ll prove he doesn’t like Palki, and when Sunny asks if he wants him to prove it, Shaurya replies affirmatively.
Karan is on the phone when Preeta walks by, adjusting her dupatta that accidentally falls over Karan’s face. She turns, and he pulls it down, surprising them both. Karan gazes at Preeta, who feels a bit embarrassed, and she apologizes while pulling the cloth back. He reassures her that such things happen. Preeta laughs, questioning if Karan is implying she’s over a hundred years old. Karan clarifies he was referring to time rather than love. As Preeta tries to leave, Karan steps in front of her, asking if she has something to say. She suggests that he seems worried. Karan admits he wants to ask her something, prompting Preeta to call for Rakhi Maa, asking what Karan wants to know. Preeta tells Rakhi that Karan seems unable to articulate his question, encouraging her to prompt him. Rakhi thinks her son loves Preeta but can’t express it properly, leading to her quietness. Preeta urges Rakhi to speak, and Rakhi finally states that Karan wants her to stay with him during the Dashera pooja and not go anywhere. Karan confirms Rakhi’s words, and Preeta assures him she will stay by his side. Rakhi expresses joy over what they couldn’t say, believing the universe made her voice it. Preeta is taken aback when Rakhi suggests they will perform the Dashera pooja together. Nidhi and Arohi, overhearing this, become furious. Karan embraces Rakhi with a smile.
Shaurya approaches Sunny and Palki, asking if she has seen Shanaya. Palki informs him that Shanaya is with Kritika Bua. Rajveer then tells Palki he wants to show her something. Shaurya intentionally trips her, but Rajveer catches her in time. Shaurya feigns an apology as Rajveer scolds him for his behavior, suggesting they should burn all of Shaurya’s mistakes along with the Rawan. Shaurya declares he will become the Rawan if that’s what Rajveer wishes. Bani Dadi scolds both boys, insisting they should not even think about fighting today as it’s a day when good triumphs over evil. Shaurya assures Bani Dadi that he wouldn’t think of fighting Rajveer because he is not strong enough. He advises Palki to make sure Rajveer gets stronger, as health is wealth, and urges Sunny to join him, claiming others might get hurt. Rajveer tries to pursue Shaurya, but Palki stops him. Bani Dadi praises Rajveer for being sensible and not pursuing Shaurya, whom she calls foolish. Kritika takes Bani Dadi away, and Rajveer questions what Shaurya meant about him lacking strength, leading him to follow Shaurya.
Nidhi tells Arohi that she can’t stand the romance between Karan and Preeta and inquires about Anshuman and Varun. Arohi points them out, and Nidhi wonders why they’re still dawdling. Preeta walks by with a tray of laddus, prompting Anshuman and Varun to follow her. Arohi advises Nidhi not to panic, reminding her that there are many people at the function, and to keep an eye on Anshuman and Varun from a distance. Nidhi agrees that their task will soon be accomplished.
Shaurya asks Sunny if the game isn’t enjoyable enough to keep irritating Rajveer. Sunny urges him to let it go for today, but Shaurya insists it will be more fun to persist. Rajveer approaches them, asking what Shaurya said about him lacking strength. Shaurya responds that he merely stated a truth, and Rajveer asserts that if he demonstrates his strength, Shaurya will be left crying in a corner. Shaurya questions why Rajveer equates crying with women, stating that women are emotional beings who create bonds beautifully, and their tears have the power to destroy. Rajveer emphasizes that women can change the world and that they bring life, and thus Shaurya should never dare to compare emotions with women. He asserts that Shaurya will never understand their worth. Shaurya, unfazed, asks if Rajveer ever tires of talking and if he’s finished. As Shaurya attempts to leave, Rajveer grabs his arm, insisting there’s one task left. Rajveer corrects his arm muscles, and Shaurya challenges him to arm wrestling, questioning if Rajveer only has strength in his arms. Rajveer agrees to the contest, and just then, Palki intervenes, urging Rajveer to stop and calling him intelligent. Shaurya mocks Palki, claiming she understands everything and is only trying to protect Rajveer’s honor. Rajveer insists he is indeed courageous, leading Shaurya to suggest a test of strength. Palki questions if Shaurya wants to be humiliated, asserting she is not concerned about him. She then tells Shaurya that he shouldn’t underestimate Rajveer, as true strength lies in his arms. Shaurya, impressed by Palki’s faith in Rajveer, tells Sunny they should break Rajveer and Palki’s trust. Rajveer accepts the challenge, affirming that trust is the first step to victory. Sunny, sensing tension, intervenes, and the group heads off to prepare for the arm wrestling match.
Preeta walks with a smile, approaching the Mata Rani idol to place flowers before her. She prays to remain a source of strength in the house, wishing for all evil to fail. Unbeknownst to
her, Anshuman and Varun lurk behind her, with Varun remarking that the Rawan Dehan will occur outside while inside will be the Seeta Haran. Preeta feels someone behind her but, before she can turn around, Anshuman and Varun hide behind a pillar. When Preeta calls out, questioning who is there, she wonders why she senses someone’s presence and thinks about calling Karan for reassurance. She reflects on the security she feels when Karan is nearby, noting the house feels empty and that guests would reveal themselves. Kavya enters, calling for Preeta, who quickly ends the call, explaining she has to speak with Karan. Varun, frustrated, mutters that she would blend into the crowd, and Anshuman adds that without proper protection, Seeta Haran should not be performed.
Shaurya prepares for the arm wrestling match with chalk, and Rajveer follows suit, stepping close while locking eyes. Shaurya declares that Rajveer will lose before it begins, prompting Rajveer to tell him not to speak too soon. Shanaya announces her support for Shaurya alongside Sunny, while Palki cheers for Rajveer with Mohit. Kritika states her support for both, and the match begins. Shaurya starts strong, pushing Rajveer’s hand downward, but Rajveer finds his strength and manages to stop the descent, gradually pushing back against Shaurya. The struggle intensifies as they both strain against each other.
