The episode begins with Nidhi starting her dance performance, and as Karan begins to clap, she suddenly pulls him onto the dance floor. Preeta, watching them, smiles while Karan appears slightly awkward. However, Nidhi is completely absorbed, smiling as she dances with him like a couple. Nidhi looks at Preeta, thinking that as long as Karan is by her side, she feels invincible. Nidhi playfully forces Karan to sit down in a chair, while Karan continues to glance at Preeta, focusing more on her reaction than Nidhi’s dance. Preeta forces a smile in response, and Karan tries to leave the stage, but Nidhi stops him. The audience claps enthusiastically as other couples join the dance floor, including Palki and Rajveer, along with Shaurya and Shanaya. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, but Shaurya keeps stealing glances at Palki whenever he gets the chance.
Karan also looks at Preeta from time to time, a smile on his face. Shaurya, on the other hand, smirks, thinking that Palki’s world will shatter when she sees Rajveer with her sister, leading her to hate Rajveer. Shaurya grows jealous as the partners change, and he ends up dancing with Palki. Although Shaurya gets closer to her, Palki’s eyes are fixed on Rajveer. Shaurya taunts Palki, commenting on how comfortable Rajveer seems with Shanaya. Palki dismisses his remarks, saying they’re just dancing, but Shaurya insists he knows what’s really going on, suggesting Palki doesn’t fully understand relationships. Frustrated, Palki tells Shaurya she doesn’t care about his opinions and doesn’t want to hear any more of his thoughts.
Meanwhile, Shanaya teases Rajveer, noticing how distracted he is by Palki. Rajveer tries to deny it but ends up complimenting Shanaya’s dancing. Unconvinced, Shanaya dares Rajveer to prove it in front of everyone, but Rajveer continues to glance at Palki. Shaurya feels triumphant, believing he’s planting seeds of doubt in Palki’s mind about Rajveer. He’s confident that after tonight, Palki will turn to him. Palki, however, refuses to entertain Shaurya’s taunts and moves toward Shanaya, telling her to go back to dancing with Shaurya, while she wants Rajveer back as her dance partner.
On another note, Bani Dadi asks Mahesh to play a romantic song so the couples can dance. Karan jokes that his father isn’t capable of playing a romantic tune, to which Mahesh retorts that as his father, he knows better. Mahesh confidently declares he will play a song that reminds everyone of his prime days. As the song plays, Karan and Preeta exchange glances. Karan, walking toward Preeta, says everyone has a love story, some remembered, some forgotten. He hints at their shared past, saying he had a love story, as did Preeta. Preeta, puzzled, asks what he means by this, reminding him that she doesn’t remember anything about her past or any love story. Karan, gently, tells her that she may not remember now, but there was indeed a love story she might recall someday.
Nidhi interrupts the tender moment, announcing a dance face-off between Rajveer and Shaurya. Preeta questions the idea of competition between those who love each other, to which Nidhi responds that sometimes a third party is needed to separate even the closest of bonds. Bani Dadi steps in, agreeing that no one can truly separate those who are meant to be together. Preeta, now more maternal, claims that Rajveer and Shaurya are both like sons to her, and she loves them equally. Karina suggests they form two teams, with those supporting Rajveer on one side and those supporting Shaurya on the other. It’s all meant to be a fun game, not a serious competition.
Excitement fills the room as Daljeet announces the rules: the couples will dance on pieces of paper, which will get smaller with each round. The couple still standing on the paper by the end will be the winner. Kritika takes charge, instructing the couples to start dancing. Mahesh accidentally steps off the paper, disqualifying himself and Daljeet, followed by Bi Jee. Palki nearly falls, but Rajveer catches her just in time, keeping them in the game. Nidhi and Sunny are also eliminated. The final round comes down to Palki and Rajveer versus Shaurya and Shanaya. As they dance, Palki closes her eyes and Rajveer pulls her close, even kissing her forehead. The Luthra family watches, moved by the connection between Palki and Rajveer.
Shaurya, growing increasingly jealous, tries to keep up, but ultimately stumbles, disqualifying himself and Shanaya. Bani Dadi declares Palki and Rajveer the winners, and the family rushes to congratulate them. Karan reassures Shaurya not to feel bad, suggesting he might win next time. He then embraces Rajveer, proud of his win.
Pandit jee announces it’s time for the engagement ceremony, inviting both couples to the stage. Palki gazes at Rajveer while Shanaya smiles at Shaurya. The ceremony begins, with Pandit jee guiding the brides to place rings on their grooms. Palki and Shanaya complete the formality, and everyone claps. Rajveer, kneeling in front of Palki, asks for her hand, making her both nervous and embarrassed. Gurpreet smiles as Rajveer slips the ring onto Palki’s finger. Following suit, Shaurya places the ring on Shanaya’s finger, though his mind is elsewhere.
As the couples take blessings from the elders, Preeta offers sweets to everyone. Mahesh jokes about eating too much, and Preeta warns him to slow down. The family gathers for pictures, and Sunny announces that the post-engagement party is about to begin. The music plays, and the entire family hits the dance floor, enjoying the moment. Nidhi watches from a corner, knowing that while the Luthras are happy now, her sinister plan is set in motion.

In another scene, Preeta is in a room when she spots a hidden camera. Unaware of its significance, she dismisses it and throws away a suspicious plastic bottle she had warned everyone not to drink from. Nidhi, monitoring the camera, breathes a sigh of relief that Preeta didn’t uncover anything that could ruin her plan.
Meanwhile, Shanaya excitedly shows off her engagement ring to Daljeet, who comments on its extravagant cost. Nidhi mentions the ring’s hefty price tag but emphasizes its value lies in the fact that Shaurya gave it to Shanaya.
Nidhi approaches Shaurya, reminding him that he knows what to do next. She instructs Sunny to ensure that only two specific glasses are spiked, warning him not to mess up. Sunny reveals the glasses containing the transparent substance, confident that once Rajveer and Shanaya drink from them, everything will change. Nidhi smiles, knowing her plan is about to unravel in a way that will leave the Luthra family devastated.
