Shaurya calls Palki, telling her it is an amazing design and he thinks she should get it applied on her hands. Palki responds that she is already getting this design applied, and Shaurya agrees before heading back to Sunny. Kavya asks Shanaya about her dress, but Shanaya goes to Palki, asking about the design. She mentions that Shaurya really liked it, so she feels she should get it applied to her hands. They all agree that only the fiancé should choose the design for the one they love, and Palki agrees, saying she would select another one. Kritika asks Kavya for the booklet as they need to pick another design. Kavya starts to select it with Palki. Rajveer also likes the design Palki shows, and she reveals it is the special one. Kritika asks Kavya how much more she would select as she should get the Mehandi applied. Kavya says she is the elder sister and will get the Mehandi applied when Karina arrives. Karina asks why Kritika hasn’t thought about getting it applied on her hands, to which Kritika responds that she is the Bua, so she would never stay behind. Preeta realizes she forgot the lemon and sugar and leaves, with Karan following her. Shaurya, seeing Palki, thinks about how her hand is going to burn. He picks up the booklet, then purposefully drops it, allowing him to switch the Mehandi. He then approaches Shanaya, asking what sort of design this is. Shanaya tells him it’s the one he picked, but Shaurya insists she stick to the one she originally chose. Shaurya recalls when the person brought the cone mixed with chemicals, and Sunny explained that when the Mehandi dries, the chemical would take effect. Shaurya smirks, thinking about how Palki will suffer from the pain and how he can’t wait to see it. He checks the time.

Rajveer asks Mahesh Dadu why they are involved with the Mehandi when this is a ladies’ function and they should go to the study to discuss a new business idea. Mahesh Dadu asks if he’s sure about this, as today is the function, and they work all year. Rajveer replies that women work even harder than anyone realizes, taking care of everything at home, organizing functions, and picking dresses and jewelry. He says they feel good when their loved ones validate their choices. Mahesh advises Rajveer to express his love, and Rajveer acknowledges the advice. Mahesh sings a verse, emphasizing that the time spent with family is the most important, as work can always be done later. Rajveer agrees, saying sometimes they do things they shouldn’t, but Mahesh Dadu always knows what to do at the right time. Rajveer asks for blessings for his relationship with Palki. Mahesh gives his blessings, and Palki smiles as she shows her design to Rajveer.

Daljeet is impressed by the Mehandi, even liking its smell. However, she notices Shaurya staring at Palki with anger, making her wonder what’s going on. She prays that there is no bad connection here.

Preeta goes to the kitchen, thinking she needs to prepare something quickly as everyone will need it after the Mehandi. Karan stands by the entrance, staring at her. After a while, Preeta notices and asks if he needs anything. Karan pretends to need something, all the while thinking about the moments when Preeta would call him “Karela” (bittergourd). He picks up one and throws it at her. Preeta, confused, throws it back, and Karan teases her by calling her “Kareli” (bitter). Preeta suddenly realizes something.

Bi Jee asks Daljeet what’s bothering her, but Daljeet replies she’s a bit tense. Bi Jee insists she explains, and Daljeet admits she feels something is off about Palki. She’s sure Palki is not her daughter. Bi Jee is shocked and tells Daljeet that Palki was born in their house. Daljeet refuses to accept it, recalling how Palki hurt her in her childhood. She adds that Palki is now trying to break up Shaurya and Shanaya’s relationship so she can marry Shaurya herself. Bi Jee is confused about why Palki would do such a thing, but Daljeet insists that Palki is jealous of Shaurya’s lifestyle and wants him for herself. Bi Jee tries to calm her down, but Daljeet remains convinced that Palki is purposely angering Shaurya to create a rift between him and Shanaya. They see Gurpreet and ask why she’s so late. Gurpreet explains her house had to be rebuilt, and she was setting things right. Daljeet is about to explain her concerns but Bi Jee stops her. Daljeet admits she never liked Preeta and Palki as mother and daughter-in-law because she always thought their relationship would end with all the storms they faced, but to her surprise, it hasn’t. Gurpreet is shocked by this revelation.

Preeta suddenly starts to recall her past memories and begins to breathe heavily. Karan, concerned, asks if she’s okay. He remembers the doctor saying he wasn’t sure whether Preeta would regain her memories. Karan tries to distract her by asking if she’s ever seen a goat with a beard, and Preeta starts to remember something. When Karan asks what she recalls, Preeta panics, and a headache overtakes her. She starts denying everything and suddenly faints, collapsing into Karan’s arms. Karan is deeply concerned as he holds her, worried about what’s happening to her.
