Kundali Bhagya 17th September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Shanaya entering the party, feeling uneasy and anxious. Preeta notices her walking in. Shanaya wonders why she’s feeling so restless after meeting Shaurya, even though meeting one’s fiancé should be a happy moment. Today, she’s sensing that something bad is about to happen, despite not having done anything wrong. Kritika approaches Shanaya, asking if she’s alright, noticing that she seems stressed and has been standing alone. Kritika speculates that Shaurya must have said something to her, calling him “stupid but kind at heart.” She tells Shanaya that while Shaurya may take time to open up, once he does, he shows genuine concern. Kritika assures Shanaya that if Shaurya irritates her, she doesn’t need to worry, as the Luthra family will always support her. Kritika then notices Shaurya entering the party and tells Shanaya that he has arrived.
Shaurya greets everyone and points to Shanaya, making her the center of attention. He takes her hand, which she hesitantly gives to him, and Daljeet starts smiling. Shaurya leads Shanaya to the center of the room, announcing to everyone that they all know he’s set to marry her soon, but there’s something about Shanaya that they may not know. Everyone gets worried. Bi jee asks Daljeet what Shaurya might be referring to. Daljeet responds that there’s clearly something going on between Shaurya and Shanaya. Bi jee remarks that this is why they’re getting married. Daljeet, however, suspects that there’s more to it.
Shaurya begins to praise Shanaya, listing her many qualities. Daljeet beams with pride, saying that as Shanaya’s mother, she already knows her daughter’s strengths. Shaurya continues to praise her, calling her a simple and good-hearted girl, mentioning how she always greets him first and flashes a cute smile. Bani Dadi signals Palki to come stand beside her, which she does. Meanwhile, Nidhi watches Shaurya showering Shanaya with compliments and wonders why he’s doing this when she had asked him to handle things differently.
Shaurya continues, saying that Shanaya has never questioned or gotten angry with him, even when he’s misbehaved. Kritika teases him, asking why he’s already calling Shanaya his wife. Everyone laughs. Shaurya acknowledges that Shanaya has every reason to complain about him, yet she’s been nothing but graceful. The family claps for him, and Shaurya thanks Shanaya for always supporting him and for seeing the good in him. He kneels in front of her, asking her for a dance. Karan, watching, feels proud of his son.
Meanwhile, Garesh notices some open boxes containing CCTV cameras and wonders who bought them and for what purpose. He decides he should ask Mahesh or Karan if they left the boxes there.
Shaurya and Shanaya take to the dance floor, performing a couple’s dance. Everyone is mesmerized by their performance, and Shanaya smiles, enjoying the moment. But as they dance, Shaurya starts imagining Palki in Shanaya’s place. He loses control, lifting Shanaya into the air, still believing it’s Palki. When he realizes it’s Shanaya, he awkwardly continues the performance. The family applauds as the dance ends. Shaurya steps aside, clearly flustered, and excuses himself, leaving the room. Sunny follows him.
Kritika teases Shanaya, asking if she thinks Shaurya is really in love with her now. Shanaya smiles, and Kritika hugs her. Daljeet joins them, happy that Shanaya is smiling. Palki, watching, prays that her sister continues to smile like this.
Daljeet speaks to Bi jee, saying that Shaurya’s praises for Shanaya have made her feel that there’s truly something between them. She admits that she used to wonder why they were rushing the marriage, but now she believes Shaurya loves Shanaya. Bi jee, however, isn’t convinced. She points out that Shaurya’s sudden shift in behavior is suspicious, and she worries that something isn’t right. Daljeet dismisses Bi jee’s concerns, saying they should think positively. Bi jee, however, insists that sudden changes like Shaurya’s are often a red flag.
Palki overhears their conversation and starts to feel conflicted. She notices Shaurya talking with Sunny on the balcony and feels a strange unease. When Shaurya notices Palki watching him, she quickly turns away. Shaurya then confronts her, asking if she has something to say to him. Palki, flustered, denies it and quickly walks away. Shaurya and Sunny exchange glances as she leaves.
Elsewhere, Rajveer and Mohit are talking. Rajveer agrees with Mohit that Shaurya is difficult to trust. He expresses his doubts about Shaurya, despite their family connection. Mohit playfully accuses Rajveer of being dramatic, which leads to the two of them playfully arguing and hugging.
Karan, walking with Mahesh, observes Rajveer and Mohit having fun and smiles. He tells Mahesh that he’s glad to see his sons settling down and maturing. Mahesh agrees, adding that when children grow up, it brings joy to their parents. Both men are hopeful that this newfound happiness will stay in their family.
Later, Preeta crosses paths with Nidhi, who stops her and asks what her true intentions are. Preeta is taken aback by the question. Nidhi accuses her of trying to get close to Karan, insinuating that Preeta wore the saree Karan chose just to please him. Preeta calmly explains that she simply liked the saree, but Nidhi refuses to believe her. The conversation escalates, with Nidhi accusing Preeta of trying to take Karan away from her. Preeta, staying composed, warns Nidhi not to make baseless accusations, adding that if Nidhi continues to insult her, she won’t stay silent. Nidhi, visibly upset, storms off.
As Nidhi enters the party, Karina notices her agitation and asks what happened. Nidhi vents about her frustration with Preeta, but Karina advises her to stay calm and not let Preeta get to her. She suggests that Nidhi should assert her place as Karan’s wife by dancing with him in front of Preeta. Nidhi agrees, vowing to show everyone that her marriage with Karan is rock solid.
Meanwhile, Preeta is speaking with the pandit, unaware of Nidhi’s plans. Nidhi, determined to take center stage, announces to the guests that she’s going to perform a special dance in honor of Shaurya’s engagement. Shaurya watches, knowing that things are about to get interesting. He smirks, thinking to himself that the real drama is about to unfold.
