Kundali Bhagya 17th October 2024 Written Episode Update
Preeta is working alone when Palki enters through the main door, curious if Preeta is decorating the house. Palki explains that she loves it, but Preeta asks her to let her work alone, fearing that she might get spoiled if Palki continues to pamper her. Palki replies that she will pamper Preeta even more, to which Preeta insists that Palki wouldn’t understand. Palki claims she would be like her shadow. Noticing Palki looking around, Preeta tells her that Rajveer is in the room. When Palki asks for clarification, Preeta explains that Rajveer is showing his Kundali to Pandit jee. Palki asks if she should join them, but Preeta encourages her to go be with Rajveer since she can manage things on her own. As Palki leaves, Preeta sees Karan and asks if he plans to just stare at her instead of helping. Karan inquires about what help she needs, to which Preeta replies he should put the flowers. Karan responds that he was merely staring at her, and Preeta is taken aback, asking what he means by that. Karan tells her he is going to put the umbrella upside down, but he notices Preeta has given the thal to someone smiling at her. He steps in to cover her face with the umbrella, and when the person leaves, Karan wonders why he still can’t see anyone looking at Preeta, which makes him jealous. He reflects that love knows no age, and smiles when Preeta asks the reason for his happiness. He says it’s just for the moment, but when she presses for the real reason, Karan explains he was thinking about her decorating again for Diwali and questions why they celebrate it. Preeta responds that every child knows it’s because Ram jee returned to Ayodhya after fourteen years, leading everyone to light diyas in his honor, a tradition still practiced today. Karan says he already knows, but when she asks why he asked, he admits he wanted to hear it from her. He shares that this Diwali and Dussehra are especially significant for him but wants to make it even more special. Preeta reassures him they will celebrate together and asks why he finds this Dussehra special. Karan replies it’s because someone special has returned to his life after fourteen years, someone integral to him. When Preeta asks who that is, Karan tells her it’s someone she knows very well: herself. Stunned, Preeta gazes at him while Karan smiles back, encouraging her to seek the answer from her own heart. As he walks away, Preeta, confused, asks him to reveal the person, pondering why Karan always troubles her with riddles, reminding herself she has much work to do.
Anshuman threatens Varun, warning him not to harm Nidhi. Varun challenges Anshuman, questioning whether he would kill him, and Anshuman threatens to throw a knife if Varun steps back. Varun accuses Anshuman of making him the enemy but insists he should direct his anger at Karan. Anshuman warns Varun isn’t in his right mind, threatening that Nidhi must know her limits or else he can’t guarantee Varun’s safety in the future. Nidhi interjects that she is the one who has guaranteed their safety but then tells Anshuman he has nothing—no business, no respect, making them both criminals. Varun is taken aback, asking who Nidhi is calling a criminal when she asserts that they should listen to her. Varun retorts that such women are like this, but Nidhi confidently states her name is Nidhi Luthra. Anshuman reacts with disdain, mentioning his hatred for the Luthra name, which Nidhi has just invoked. He warns that Varun is mentally unstable and could harm her, but Nidhi responds that she isn’t afraid and can easily throw away a thousand Varuns. Walking toward her, Varun claims he can crush and kill her if she speaks nonsense again, but Nidhi counters that she secured their bail. Anshuman states she came with her own motives, hinting that she would have let them rot in jail. Varun again threatens to suffocate her, prompting Nidhi to demand Anshuman intervene, but he refuses, telling her to sit in a chair. Varun insists he will show Nidhi what he can do, and she quickly heads for water when he orders her to leave his house, calling her similar to Preeta. Nidhi asserts that Preeta steals the rights of everyone in the house and questions what harm Preeta hasn’t done to her. She reflects on the moments Preeta stood in her way, declaring herself the owner of Luthra Mansion due to Karan’s deal with her. Nidhi continues, stating that Preeta is the one who saves everyone while she pretends to be the savior and defeats their enemies. Anshuman expresses that Karan is his enemy, and Nidhi responds that both of them lack the intelligence to understand their situation. Nidhi argues that Preeta is the one who took his property, and after Preeta demanded all the property, Anshuman ended up in jail for fraud. She reminds Varun that Preeta was the one who tracked him down and exposed his secrets to the Luthra family. Varun recalls the day Preeta revealed the truth about him to the family, even getting a confession from his wife. Nidhi claims it was Preeta who got him tortured and ostracized. Varun’s anger intensifies as Nidhi insists they can’t forget how Preeta has led a peaceful life in the Luthra family. She urges them to seek revenge against Ram, not the army, insisting they must first eliminate Preeta to achieve their goal. Anshuman agrees, proposing they target the king, and Varun emphasizes that Nidhi should respect them and warns her not to speak ill of his parents. Nidhi suggests they forget the past but remain shrewd, focusing on their agenda to eliminate Preeta. She pledges to assist them with their revenge against Rajveer and Karan, urging them to think smartly. As Nidhi heads toward her car, she wonders why they haven’t followed her, feeling her attempt to manipulate them may have failed. She looks back, praying someone will stop her, and gazes at the rearview mirror, contemplating that they have become like lions while thinking about dropping her keys as an excuse to linger a little longer.
Palki enters the house but finds it empty, only to hear a whistle. Turning around, she sees Rajveer coming down in a towel, and both are momentarily stunned. Rajveer informs her that his clothes are nearby and asks if he should take them. She signals for him to do so, but he hesitates. As he walks toward the clothes, Palki tries to look away, feeling tense. When she turns to leave, she slips on the water, but Rajveer catches her, leading to a lingering gaze between them. Palki looks at his body but quickly gets nervous. Rajveer remarks that he can’t see himself the way she does, and Palki responds that she doesn’t understand what happens to her when she looks at him. Rajveer asks what that is, and Palki calls him an idiot, explaining that it feels very awkward. He mentions that if his hands are busy, how long he can stay in a towel. Palki apologizes, and he insists she let him get dressed. Rajveer runs off but accidentally drops his towel; when Palki turns around, she realizes the situation and they both scream.
Nidhi exits the car to retrieve the keys, thinking she hears footsteps, prompting her to open the car door. Anshuman calls her from behind, asking why they stopped her. Varun asserts she will have to stop for them to make a deal. Nidhi claims she knows their enemies are connected to Preeta, whom she wants to eliminate. Varun inquires about the decorations, while Anshuman asks if they will hold the Ram Lela in their backyard. Nidhi agrees, causing both men to laugh. When she questions the reason for their amusement, Anshuman responds that they see their victory. He states their next attack will not fail, and Varun reveals they are aware of their plans. Nidhi asks what their plan is, and Varun ominously states that this time the enemy will be Darashai, revealing that no one will know how it happened. Nidhi presses for details, and Anshuman declares “Dehan,” while Varun adds “Rawan Dehan.” They collectively chant “Deha,” and Nidhi is pleased to hear it.
Shaurya is walking when he bumps into Palki, who is annoyed he doesn’t watch where he’s going. He remarks that he got hurt, and Palki warns him to be more aware. Their argument escalates when Shaurya suggests Palki needs to get her eyes checked. She asks if she should look away, and they continue to bicker. Shaurya taunts her about how people might refer to her if she wore glasses. Palki playfully acknowledges it when the light catches her earrings, which annoys Shaurya. He claims she is the most irritating person in his life, while Palki argues that he has no reason to speak to her like that. Shaurya reveals he finds Palki different from other girls but insists she is still annoying. Palki feels she was spared from his insults, but he walks away, declaring nothing will come of her.
Preeta is instructing the decorators when Karina approaches, telling Preeta she may not have a good memory but is still working her magic on the family. Karina expresses disbelief that Preeta is acting as if she has full control
of the house. She admits that Preeta makes her nervous, sensing something bad might happen. Preeta notices Karina and asks if she needs anything, but Karina insists she cannot ask anything from her, appreciating how God blessed her with such a wonderful family. Preeta inquires about her thoughts on the decorations, and Karina responds that they are just good. She suggests that if Preeta had used her mind, it could have been amazing and advises her to think more critically next time for more praise. Bani Dadi then instructs Karina to join her, to which Karina responds, acknowledging that she knows the reason why.
As Palki walks around, Preeta spots her and asks what’s wrong. Palki explains that she encountered Shaurya, who really spoiled her mood with his ill manners, not understanding how someone could behave like that. Preeta urges Palki not to speak negatively about her son, stating she would have said the same about anyone else’s child. Preeta reassures her that she is on a mission to change Shaurya, confident he will become a better person. Palki expresses skepticism about Preeta’s plans, voicing her concern.
