Kundali Bhagya 16th October 2024 Written Episode Update
Karan is instructing the decorators when he asks his mom how it looks, and Rakhi praises him. Karan then points to the location where the Ram Lela will be performed and mentions that the arrow will be released from there. Rakhi tells Karan that tomorrow, Ram jee ended the evil and established peace. Karan replies that there are still many Rawan left, to which Rakhi responds that there are also many Ram present who can defeat the evil. Rakhi explains that this is why they perform the Rawan dehan, and Karan agrees, stating that they should remember that whenever Rawan is born, Shri Ram comes to end him. Rakhi expresses her desire to have the same troops who performed last year, and Karan, creating suspense, reveals that those same troops have come again this year. Rakhi mentions how she loves watching them over and over again as they leave together.
Rajveer is smiling with Kavya, saying he can’t believe it; it feels like the eighth wonder. When Rajveer mentions that he has heard a biological mother can correct him, Bani Dadi, Karina, and Mahesh arrive. Bani Dadi instructs them not to joke about Rajveer. Mahesh states that Shaurya is his grandson and that Rajveer is like a grandson too, which they may not like. Rajveer insists he has never caused problems in the house and only laughed at Shaurya’s story. Karina comments that many people are trying to suppress their laughter. Kritika reassures Rajveer that she knows he wouldn’t cause trouble. Mahesh praises Preeta, saying he is proud of her for raising Shaurya well. Bani Dadi agrees, expressing happiness that Preeta took on the mission with Shaurya. Kritika exclaims it seems impossible, but Bani Dadi adds that she feels lively with Preeta around, unlike Nidhi, who always fought with them and was rarely in a good mood. Karina questions the good things Nidhi has done for the house over the years. Kritika concurs, likening Nidhi to a villain, calling her Mogambo, while also claiming she has a fitting nickname for her: Dr. Horns. Bani Dadi reveals that Nidhi never stopped Shaurya but always supported him, so Shaurya has begun to get furious. She believes Preeta will teach him some manners. Nidhi, overhearing their conversation, exclaims that they have mocked her efforts, and now she will become a fireball against them.
Shanaya is shocked at night, asking what Preeta said. Palki responds that Preeta taught Shaurya remarkably well, which stunned the entire Luthra family. Daljeet urges Shanaya to warn Palki that Preeta should stay away from Shaurya since she is not his biological mother. However, Palki argues that Preeta has taken responsibility for Shaurya. Daljeet insists that when Shanaya marries, she will be bound to that house, while Nidhi is her real mother-in-law, and if Preeta behaves this way, she will remain as Shanaya’s mother-in-law. Palki insists her mother thinks negatively and is wrong about this. Shanaya protests, claiming she is not an illiterate girl from the village and knows how to interact with everyone. Palki wonders if Shanaya believes what Preeta is doing for Shaurya is right when his behavior is unsuitable for a healthy relationship, especially since Nidhi has failed to teach him anything worthwhile. Shanaya retorts that she has warned Palki not to concern herself with Shaurya, stating that it is her own responsibility to look after him. Palki insists that Shanaya is her sister, and she believes only Preeta can teach Shaurya some manners. After Palki leaves, Daljeet comments on Palki’s behavior, suggesting she seems more in love with Preeta than being her daughter. Shanaya claims her mother worries too much and insists they should let Palki do as she wishes since no one will act according to her desires. Bi Jee advises Daljeet and Shanaya to talk to Preeta alone, warning her to stay within limits as she has caused much argument in the house. Daljeet agrees, feeling they must speak to her, while Bi Jee insists that if Shaurya and Nidhi get angry, no one can save Preeta. Daljeet expresses confusion over Nidhi’s furious demeanor but lack of action against Preeta, suggesting she should confront Nidhi herself. Bi Jee concurs that Daljeet should speak to Nidhi.
Rakhi is selecting a dress when Nidhi arrives. Rakhi offers to help, but Nidhi replies that she thought of doing something on her own but needed assistance. Nidhi asks how long Rakhi has been in the house. Rakhi finds the question odd, and Nidhi explains that she has considered them family, yet they haven’t reciprocated her feelings. Rakhi inquires about Nidhi’s concerns, and Nidhi admits they made Preeta the mother of Shaurya in front of her. Rakhi clarifies that Preeta is indeed his mother. Nidhi questions her own position, expressing her pain that despite not giving birth to Shaurya, she loved him dearly, and now Preeta is taking her place. Rakhi asserts that one must earn their position, emphasizing that the entire Luthra family loves Nidhi because Preeta loves them too. Nidhi, as a mother, expresses her feelings of betrayal, asking how Rakhi would feel if someone else was made the mother of her children. Rakhi defends her sons, claiming they are not ill-mannered, and says if Nidhi had intervened in Shaurya’s childhood, no one would question her. Nidhi reacts defensively, stating she doesn’t want a lecture from Rakhi and claims Preeta’s role as Shaurya’s mother is her fault. Karan, overhearing, intervenes, telling Nidhi she has failed as a mother and blaming her for not instilling any values in Shaurya. Rakhi insists that Preeta earned the right to teach him because she is his mother. Karan demands an apology from Nidhi, who insists they should apologize to her instead. Rakhi attempts to calm Karan, but he persists in demanding an apology from Nidhi, who then storms out after muttering a reluctant “sorry.” Rakhi sits on the bed, feeling bad for Nidhi, explaining to Karan that she understands how hurtful it is to be disregarded after dedicating so many years to the family. Rakhi questions whether she acted correctly, and Karan reassures her that they are doing the right thing because only Preeta can teach Shaurya manners. He believes the universe has united them for a reason, emphasizing that Nidhi aims to ruin this bond, but he will not allow that to happen. Nidhi, overhearing their conversation, thinks about how Karan will soon realize the lengths she will go to sever this connection. She receives a call from Arohi and ponders what she might have planned.
Nidhi waits anxiously when Arohi arrives. Nidhi asks if Anshuman Panday and Varun will be granted bail tomorrow. Arohi assures her that their lawyer is excellent and confident they will be released, so Nidhi should relax. Nidhi, feeling overwhelmed, expresses that her life is hell and she has never received respect in this house. Arohi reminds her they have discussed this before, but Nidhi laments how everyone has taken Preeta’s side. She recalls how shocked she was when Shaurya obeyed Preeta’s commands at the dining table, while the entire family stood by silently. Nidhi goes to sit on the swing, with Arohi joining her. Nidhi explains that she hoped Rakhi would understand her feelings, but instead, Karan criticized her for Shaurya’s behavior. Arohi tries to reassure her that they will resolve everything in due time, but Nidhi insists she must take matters into her own hands to regain control over her life. She declares she will go to meet Anshuman and Varun, and Arohi informs her to arrive precisely at noon for everything to be sorted out.
The next morning, Preeta tells Garesh the decorations look good but suggests adding more flowers and lighting. Rakhi comes in and asks Preeta what she is doing. Preeta explains she feels the house should be decorated for the pooja, as it brings joy and purifies the space for blessings from the Devi and Devta. Rakhi agrees that the house has received a blessing and shares that they will perform the pooja before attending the Ram Lela. Karan concurs, mentioning that good things stem from the Lakshmi of the house, the daughter-in-law, as they keep family ties strong. He expresses hope that one day they will all return home. Karan gazes at Preeta as she talks to Rakhi, noting that Ram jee has come to their home, and just as Ram jee vanquished Rawan, people celebrate Dashera to honor his teachings. Rakhi asserts that Preeta is guiding everyone towards the right path, indicating that the meaning of relationships has changed with her arrival, uniting them all. Preeta playfully asks if Rakhi believes she is overpraising her, to which Karan responds that Preeta deserves the praise for keeping everyone in line and maintaining decorum in the house. Nidhi, eavesdropping, is taken aback and angrily stares at Preeta before turning away.
Nidhi approaches Varun and Anshuman, asking how they feel now that they have been released. Anshuman remarks that everyone feels good after their release. Arohi departs, telling Nidhi she is running late, urging her to continue. Nidhi reminds them of the promise they made when she
