Kumkum Bhagya 9th September 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode begins with Harleen expressing her concern about not knowing where Poorvi has gone. Dadi asks how she could just leave like that. Harleen speculates that Poorvi might have found some evidence. Meanwhile, Deepika overhears this and rushes to Monisha, warning her, “You’re enjoying snacks here while Maa thinks Poorvi has gathered proof against Nethra. You need to be careful.” Monisha remains calm, telling her to relax, assuring that she’s keeping an eye on Nethra. Just then, they spot Neha arriving with Poorvi and others. Yug, curious, asks Harman, “What happens if someone drinks truth serum?” Neha interrupts, asking Pandit ji to start the engagement. Pandit ji is about to begin the mantras when Sahil picks up the tray with the truth serum. Yug whispers to Vikrant, “I’ll make the tray fall,” but Vikrant stops him, revealing that the serum has already been tampered with. Sahil approaches Neha and offers her juice. Diya intervenes, saying Neha had refused earlier, but Neha now insists, “I want to drink.” She takes the glass with the serum and drinks it. Yug anxiously remarks, “She drank the truth serum juice.” Sahil quietly reassures her, “I’ll stay by your side.” Pandit ji asks Neha and RV to exchange rings. Poorvi hands Neha the ring, while Jassi looks on.

Everyone watches nervously as Neha starts feeling drowsy. Monisha tells RV to remove the ring on his finger that Poorvi had put on him earlier. RV obliges, and Monisha smiles. Neha is about to place the ring on RV’s finger but suddenly feels dizzy and collapses, holding RV’s hand. Everyone is startled. Jassi chases after Sahil. RV, concerned, says, “She’s probably just tired. I’ll take her to the guest room.” Poorvi agrees. Harman, Jaswant, Vikrant, and Dadu suspect that the truth serum is taking effect. Dadi asks, “Where are you all going?” Dadu replies, “If you want, you can go too.” Harleen invites them to have some food. Dadi questions Dadu about what’s going on, but he remains silent. Harleen chides, “You’re making the same mistake that Poorvi did.” Harman suggests, “We should tell them about the plan.” Outside, Monisha drags Sahil away. Sahil remarks, “You don’t seem like part of this family, or else you wouldn’t have pulled me aside.” She confronts him, saying, “You knew my name.” Then, she turns to Jassi, asking if he was trying to stop the engagement, suspecting that he doesn’t want Neha to marry someone else. Jassi denies it, saying, “We’re in the same boat, even wearing the same attire.” He firmly states, “I have no interest in your Neha, and I could have beaten you up the other day.” Monisha warns Sahil, “Leave now, or I’ll call the police and tell them you came here in disguise. Even Neha won’t save you since she’s not well now.” Jassi supports her, adding, “We know about your so-called love, so leave and talk to Neha later.”

Inside, Poorvi tells RV that Neha has fainted. RV wonders if the serum dose was too high. Meanwhile, Soham calls Diya, and Poorvi suggests she should go talk to him. Poorvi then proposes, “We should make her confess the truth.” RV confronts Nethra, asking why she did this. Poorvi advises, “She’s not fully conscious; we should wait until she’s fully aware before questioning her.” They help Neha sit down. Poorvi suggests, “We should give her some water.” RV leaves to get it, and Poorvi seizes the moment to search Neha’s bag. She finds Neha’s ID card, which reveals her real name as Neha Singh, not Nethra Rai Singh or Neha Rai Singh. Poorvi confronts Neha, demanding, “Who are you really?” Neha, still under the serum’s influence, admits, “I’m an actress, but actually, I’m a bar dancer. I lie to people, claiming I’m an actress.” Meanwhile, Dadu defends their decision, saying, “We didn’t hide the truth from you.” Harman adds, “We were trying to do the right thing.” Jaswant is hopeful, saying, “If our plan works, everything will be fine.” Vikrant agrees, “It will work.” Harleen, feeling left out, asks, “Are we even part of the family? You’re making us feel like outsiders. If you had something planned, why didn’t you involve us?” Vaishali echoes her sentiment, saying, “What harm would it have caused to tell us? We could have helped.” Dadi adds, “This is our issue too.” Vaishali continues, “We knew something was up.” Harleen stresses, “You should have told us.” Deepika feels sidelined, saying, “It feels like we’re outsiders, and Poorvi is your family.” Dadu explains, “We didn’t want everyone to know because we couldn’t afford any mistakes.” Harman emphasizes, “We wanted our mission to succeed.” Jaswant assures, “And it’s succeeding.” Vaishali, still concerned, asks, “What happened with Nethra? What was your plan?” Harleen presses Vikrant for an answer. He finally reveals, “We just wanted Nethra to confess the truth.” Harleen asks, “How?” Yug explains, “With truth serum.” Dadi, puzzled, asks, “What’s that?” Dadu clarifies, “Once someone consumes it, they can’t lie.” Vikrant recounts how Yug approached Neha with the juice glass, but Neha didn’t drink it. “Poorvi tried too, but she didn’t succeed either,” Vikrant continues. Yug adds, “I’m not certain, but I think she might have drunk the serum now.” Harman speculates that RV and Poorvi are currently trying to get her to confess. Deepika, shocked, asks if the serum will work. Yug confidently replies, “I arranged it; it will work.” Harleen, relieved, says, “Neha will confess the truth, and my son will be saved.” Harman affirms, “Now you understand.” Vikrant adds, “They’re recording her confession.” The family smiles. Deepika, still in disbelief, realizes the magnitude of the plan and thinks of warning Monisha. She coughs and excuses herself, saying she needs water. Back in the room, Poorvi decides to confirm Neha’s identity. She asks Neha to state her name. Neha responds, “Neha Singh.” Poorvi then asks, “Do you want to marry RV?” Neha replies, “No.”
