Kumkum Bhagya 8th October 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode starts with RV revealing that Jassi has kidnapped Poorvi. He expresses frustration, saying, “I should have caught him.” Everyone is shocked, and RV blames himself, asking, “How did I let this happen?” Meanwhile, Jassi confronts Poorvi, saying, “Why are you doing this? I love you so much, but you don’t respect me.” He continues, “I will always love you. When you married RV, it broke my heart into pieces, but I’ve decided to let the past go.” He reassures her, “I won’t ask about you and RV or the closeness between you two because I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. I don’t want to remind you of RV.” He adds, “I won’t bring up the time you were with him on the bed. I won’t ask, because I love you deeply.” He then instructs his goons to stand guard outside, ensuring no one can come in.

Jassi tries to calm Poorvi, saying, “Why are you afraid of me? Look at me, I’m handsome and charming. Does my face look dangerous?” One of the goons responds, “No.” Jassi, growing more intense, asks, “Should I shoot?” Poorvi, alarmed, says, “No!” He tells her to walk, but Poorvi pleads with him not to come any closer. Jassi, filled with emotion, says, “You are my life. I’ve done everything to bring you here with respect. I want to do everything respectfully.” He reveals his plan: “I had planned to marry you after your divorce with RV, but I always suspected Nethra might betray me.” Poorvi, surprised, asks, “Nethra?” Jassi explains, “You didn’t know about her? Nethra accused RV of molestation, and when you went to her house and offered money, I was the one pulling the strings. I told Nethra to call the media.” He adds, “Everything Nethra did was because I told her to. I controlled the situation. Your engagement and divorce were all part of my plan. Everything was set for you to become my wife, and our future would be perfect.” Enraged, Poorvi slaps him hard.

Meanwhile, RV, Yug, and Diya rush off in the car. Sahil, noticing their urgency, wonders where they are going. He overhears a waiter mentioning that the family’s daughter-in-law has been kidnapped, and he worries for Neha. Monisha accuses him, “You danced like a bar dancer, and now it seems my victory has turned into defeat because of your greed.” She continues, “Your greed is growing, and now RV, Poorvi, and others must be rejoicing that you’ve been exposed.” Monisha wonders where Jassi is and why he hasn’t acted. She tries calling him, but his phone is unreachable.

Sahil calls Monisha, demanding to know who kidnapped Neha and why. Monisha dismisses his concerns, saying, “She’s here, drunk and unconscious.” Sahil, concerned, says, “I saw her dance. Even if my family saw that, they wouldn’t accept her. But I know how good she is.” He then threatens to expose Monisha to RV’s family. Monisha shows him Neha on a video call, saying, “She’s drunk and not in her senses.” Sahil is stunned and wonders how Neha could have danced in such a state.

Monisha blames Poorvi for Neha’s condition, claiming, “Poorvi beat her up and spiked her drink, making her dance.” Sahil, still concerned, says, “I heard from a waiter that the house bahu has been kidnapped.” Monisha replies, “It’s Poorvi.” Sahil suspects, “It must be Jassi. He’s madly in love with Poorvi.”

Back at the hideout, Poorvi confronts Jassi, saying, “I didn’t realize you were this terrible. Nethra will never marry RV—I won’t let that happen.” She declares, “I will stop her from even standing next to RV. I won’t let her or any girl marry RV, in any lifetime.”

Jassi, angry but controlling himself, says, “How dare you slap me? I could retaliate in two seconds, but I won’t because I love you. You’re special to me, and I will treat you like a queen. You were always loyal to RV, and I’m only asking for 10% of that loyalty. Don’t provoke me—I don’t want to hurt you.” Poorvi cries, and Jassi apologizes, saying, “I could kill you for slapping me, but I won’t. You’re doing this to make me angry, to push me away, but I won’t fall for it. I’ve passed this test of love.” He adds, “I could kill or die for you, but I don’t want to lose you.”

Jassi reveals that he felt Nethra would ruin his plan, but reassures Poorvi, saying, “After our marriage, we’ll have plenty of time to talk.” He shows her a bridal chunari and says, “Shera took a photo of us, and you looked beautiful in it.” Poorvi is shocked, asking, “What?” Jassi, growing impatient, says, “We don’t have much time. First, we’ll get married, then we’ll do the haldi, mehendi, and all that.” Poorvi, disgusted, says, “You!” Jassi, confident, says, “You must be thinking about the auspicious time. RV and Nethra’s sangeet is happening now, so the timing is perfect.” Poorvi cries out, “RV!” But Jassi, undeterred, says, “We’ll be husband and wife within the hour.” He tells her to get ready, but Poorvi throws the dress on the floor in defiance.

Meanwhile, RV, Diya, and Yug arrive at the police station. The inspector recognizes RV, saying, “We all know you because of the case.” RV urgently says, “My wife has been kidnapped.” The inspector, confused, asks, “Nethra?” RV clarifies, “No, my wife Poorvi.” Yug adds, “Poorvi Malhotra.” Diya chimes in, “She’s my sister.” The inspector, still skeptical, remarks, “But you’re marrying Nethra.” Diya quickly explains, “Nethra has been exposed. RV will no longer marry her.” RV firmly states, “I know who the kidnapper is.” The inspector, unimpressed, says, “If you’ve already done the investigation, then why are you here? We know our job, so don’t tell us how to do it.”
