Kumkum Bhagya 5th December 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Nethra telling RV that the court has ordered him to marry her in 10 days, and so the wedding must take place tomorrow. She says that he has played with her respect, and now he must restore it by marrying her. She insists this is a court order, and therefore, the marriage will happen. She admits she doesn’t want to marry but must do it to become the house bahu. She warns that if they don’t accept her, she will either have RV arrested or marry him anyway. She asserts that she is just following the court’s decision and that RV had agreed to it. Police arrive, and Jassi’s reporter says that things are getting interesting. If RV accepts the marriage and later refuses, it will be a crime, and he will be arrested. Dadi steps forward, saying that the marriage will take place tomorrow, and they were already planning it. Everyone is invited, and Harleen asks Beeji in surprise, “What?” Dadu asks her to clarify, and Harman says Maa is right. Harleen explains that the marriage will happen from home, starting with the Kuldevi puja in the morning, followed by the ceremony in the evening. She invites everyone and tells the inspector to leave. She asks Nethra to go home, rest, and prepare for the wedding. Nethra insists on keeping the same decorations for both the morning and evening events and asks that the wedding take place at their house. She reminds them that she will be a part of their family soon and leaves. Harman tells the media to leave as well. Harman, RV, and the others head to the office. Poorvi, shocked, goes inside. The reporter comments that no spicy news has come out, implying that the marriage is now set to happen.
The next day, Nethra arrives at Malhotra’s house, greeting everyone and introducing her cousins, Sia and Nisha. She mentions that someone from her side had to be present, so they came. She notes that everything is ready for the puja and expresses happiness at seeing the preparations. She remarks that the wealth of her family allowed them to arrange everything in one night. Pandit ji asks everyone to sit so they can begin the puja.
During the puja, Nethra insists that RV sit with her. He glances at Poorvi before sitting down beside Nethra. Monisha, concerned about the marriage going ahead, calls Jassi but he doesn’t pick up. Jassi chooses not to respond, and Monisha realizes that Nethra can’t manage this alone and that Jassi has become her ally. She vows not to let Nethra succeed and reminds herself that RV belongs to her. Diya asks Yug what’s going on, and he tells her that things have escalated. Diya, however, is confident Poorvi must have a plan to stop the wedding.
Poorvi recalls hiring someone to expose the truth at 10:30 am. She sends a message to him and heads out.
RV looks at Poorvi and recalls her asking him to pretend to marry Nethra while she finds a way to stop it. Monisha, meanwhile, creates a commotion by accidentally knocking over a water container during the puja, causing the water to fall into the havan kund. Harleen scolds her, and Pandit ji calls it an abshagun (bad omen). Nethra dismisses it, claiming that since this marriage is unusual, the omen doesn’t matter, and she heads to her room to get ready. Monisha and Nethra’s cousins comment on how handsome RV is, and Nethra assures them that RV is already hers. Monisha arrives and warns Nethra to stop pretending, claiming she won’t let her ruin her plans. Nethra replies that RV will be her support now that Sahil is no longer alive. Monisha questions why she insists on RV, and Nethra firmly states that RV is the one she wants. Monisha insists she could find someone better for her but Nethra is resolute in her decision.
Monisha challenges Nethra, claiming that the molestation didn’t happen, but there’s still proof. Nethra warns her that she will expose the truth if Monisha tries to stop her.
Poorvi, feeling helpless, confides in Diya about her struggles with getting her husband ready for the wedding. Harleen and Harman enter the room looking for RV. Poorvi asks what’s going on. Harman explains Harleen’s plan to have RV pretend to be sick so the marriage can be stopped. Poorvi says this may delay the wedding but won’t stop it altogether. RV enters and states that everything must be done legally and that he won’t pretend to be ill. Harleen asks Poorvi to convince him, offering to provide a fake medical report from her doctor friend to help with the plan. Poorvi tells them that she has already thought of something and has called someone for help.
