Kumkum Bhagya 4th November 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode opens with Vaishali instructing the floral decorator to move the sofa, stating that the puja will take place here. She insists that both designs must be identical. RV asks Vikrant to contact him if needed, and Vikrant leaves. Monisha spots RV heading inside and calls out to him, but Deepika covers Monisha’s mouth. RV doesn’t hear her and continues on. Vaishali notices Deepika stopping Monisha and asks what’s wrong. Monisha questions Vaishali’s concern, and Deepika explains that Monisha was about to confront RV. Monisha counters that she simply wanted to ask him a question. Vaishali asks what the issue is, and Deepika mentions that RV has stayed back from the office to care for Poorvi. She expresses that while both she and Monisha don’t like it, it doesn’t justify fighting with him. Monisha argues that she should be able to express her feelings when she’s unhappy. Vaishali tells her that her sister is right and that she should refrain from saying anything. Monisha insists that even Deepika doesn’t want her to confront RV, but RV… Vaishali reminds her that he is caring for Poorvi, given her condition. Monisha tries to explain that she has kept a fast for RV and that he should be focusing on her, not Poorvi. Vaishali suggests that Monisha should seek RV’s attention without resorting to conflict today. Monisha protests, asking Vaishali to see how RV is acting.

Deepika urges Monisha to understand Poorvi’s suffering and emphasizes that it’s not easy for anyone involved. She explains that RV feels guilty for Poorvi’s situation, blaming himself for not trusting her when she informed him about someone being in the house. Deepika explains that RV’s lack of action resulted in Poorvi’s kidnapping and that he is trying to alleviate his guilt by caring for her. Deepika continues, stating that this is why she wanted to prevent Monisha from arguing with RV. She asks if Monisha now understands what Chachi is saying. Monisha departs, spotting RV’s phone ringing in the study. She answers the call, realizing it’s the doctor. The doctor greets RV but Monisha clarifies that she is not RV. The doctor then asks if she is Harleen. Monisha confirms, and the doctor informs her that Poorvi’s test results have come back unfavorably. He advises that Poorvi should not fast today, as it could worsen her condition and lead to a coma. He emphasizes that the coming days are critical. Monisha acknowledges this and thanks the doctor before ending the call, expressing her gratitude to God. She vows to ensure that no one finds out about Poorvi’s fast, stating that she would prefer Poorvi to slip into a coma than to eat or drink.

RV approaches Poorvi and remarks on her weakness, suggesting that the medication is taking a toll on her. Poorvi assures him she is fine, but RV insists she looks unwell and should see her reflection in the mirror. Poorvi insists she will recover gradually. He encourages her to take her medicine, and she requests juice instead. RV agrees to fetch it, but as he gets up, he notices Poorvi tossing her medicine behind the bed, realizing she is secretly observing the karwachauth fast.

Dadi reassures Deepika, saying that Vikrant will arrive on time, and until then, they can begin the puja. Dadu comments that all the ladies resemble Lakshmi while their sons are useless. Harman asks what they’ve done wrong, and Dadu retorts by questioning what they haven’t done. Harman wants to know what that is, and Dadu prompts them to consider whether they’ve kept a fast. Harman responds that their wives keep the fasts, implying they are the ones being honored. Dadi counters that if their wives are suhaagans, then they are their suhaag, and they should keep the fast. Harman insists they cannot do that. Dadu reveals he used to keep fasts until their children were grown, but promised Lado he would stop. Jaswant expresses disbelief. Dadu confirms he is telling the truth and explains that he observed the fast for several years, but his health began to suffer. The men all express admiration for their wives. Monisha agrees, noting that the wives have kept fasts for their sons, indicating RV is fortunate. Dadu confirms RV’s luck due to Monisha’s devoted fast.

RV returns to Poorvi and asks if she has taken her medicine, inquiring whether she will drink juice or prefers he take it back. Poorvi replies she will get it herself. RV sits on the bed and insists she drink it while it’s fresh, stating the taste will deteriorate over time. He offers to make her drink it, but Poorvi insists she will have it later, ultimately refusing. RV confronts her about keeping the karwachauth fast secretly and hiding it from him. Meanwhile, Diya enters the kitchen, asking a servant about a sweet dish. The servant informs her that kheer has been prepared. Diya suggests they make laddoo as well and instructs the servant to retrieve besan. Yug enters and questions Diya about her presence in the kitchen, warning her that others might be upset. Diya explains she’s there to ensure dinner is not delayed since Di has kept a fast. Yug inquires if Bhabhi has also fasted, and Diya requests the servant to keep her fast a secret. The servant agrees. Yug questions if he’s invisible since Diya isn’t telling him. She replies that she knows he won’t disclose it.

Poorvi insists there’s been a misunderstanding. RV accuses her of throwing away her medicine, demanding to know why she is doing this when everyone advised against fasting, especially after he made sacrifices for her well-being. He explains that he sent his brother to a meeting in his stead, and despite giving her medicine, she is refusing to take it. He questions whether she has broken her promise to him.

Poorvi asks RV to understand her perspective for today, apologizing for placing her karwachauth fast above her health. RV expresses disbelief that she prioritizes her health over her own well-being. She responds affirmatively, stating that it is her right as a wife to observe the fast, and she intends to do so. RV expresses frustration, questioning how many times he must remind her of the reality of their relationship. Poorvi asserts that as long as she is in this room and this house, she will observe the fast. She explains that her family follows these customs and genuinely believes in the significance of karwachauth. RV retorts that in her family, they might keep the fast without sargi. Poorvi insists they do have sargi and argues that she did eat it with the family, understanding its importance. She resolutely declares that she will complete the karwachauth fast at any cost. RV expresses his exasperation, stating that this observance has become more about show than substance, with people focusing on gifts and shopping rather than understanding the ritual’s significance. Poorvi asks him to look at her, questioning if she is dressed in new or designer clothes, asserting that she hasn’t gone shopping or sought gifts from him. She emphasizes that she has kept her fast quietly and that the emotions behind the ritual matter more to her than superficial appearances.
