Kumkum Bhagya 31st December 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Khushi calling the househelp, Sunita. Armaan walks in and asks why she’s shouting so much, as he doesn’t like her voice. He mentions he’s heading out for work and will return by 6 pm, reminding her not to go anywhere. After he leaves, Khushi reflects on how her life has changed. She thinks about how RV risked his life to save Poorvi and respected women. Everyone, including her friends and colleagues, admired RV and considered her lucky to be with him. She admits that she didn’t value him and let him go. Now, with Armaan, she feels unloved and neglected, realizing she made a wrong decision. The servant brings the clothes, and Khushi asks her to keep them in the almira. The sarees fall from her hands, and she picks up the blue saree. She asks the servant to place it on the bed and mentions she’s going to check on her jija, who is unwell.
Inspector tells Nethra that she’s allowed only one call. Nethra believes Monisha will help her, and decides to call her. However, Monisha doesn’t pick up. Deepika approaches Monisha and apologizes, calling her her baby sister. Monisha responds that if she weren’t her sister, Deepika would have killed her. Deepika explains that she told Monisha the truth because she cares for her. She prays for help as the inspector instructs a constable to take Monisha. Nethra grabs the phone from Deepika’s hand and calls Monisha again. Monisha picks up the call, but the constables take the phone and lead Nethra to the lockup. Monisha realizes someone from the police station must have contacted her. Deepika asks who would call from the PS, and Monisha guesses it might have been Nethra. Deepika advises her not to help Nethra and explains that if Nethra gets bailed, it would lead to evidence linking her to RV’s life. She warns Monisha to stay away from her.
Poorvi is in an auto, suspicious of Monisha. She recalls not hearing the full conversation, but believes Monisha was involved. She instructs the driver to take her to the PS. RV, thinking of Poorvi, wonders why she hasn’t arrived yet. He looks at her clothes in the almira and decides to call her. When she doesn’t pick up, he grows worried, wondering if she’s with Khushi. He recalls Poorvi mentioning that Jiju had been angry and almost raised his hand on Khushi. He then calls Khushi, who greets him, and he asks about Poorvi. Khushi assures him Poorvi will return home soon and says she’s also coming, asking if it’s okay. RV invites her to meet her sister.
Poorvi reaches the PS, and the inspector asks if RV is fine. He says RV has endured so much, and they owe him an apology. He assures her that the guilty will be punished. Poorvi mentions that while RV has endured a lot, only when they get justice will their hearts feel at peace. The inspector assures her that justice will come and asks her to wait. Poorvi shares that she came to speak with Nethra, as only she can answer her questions. The inspector tells her it’s lunch break and suggests she come back later. Poorvi insists, mentioning that she has something to tell her family but has hidden something from them. She asks to meet Nethra and reveals her suspicion about Monisha. The inspector seems surprised and acknowledges her doubt, stating that only Nethra can confirm it.
Harman answers the doorbell, thinking it’s his daughter, Poorvi, but is surprised to see Khushi. She asks if she can come inside. Harman invites her in, but Harleen and Dadu observe her. Harleen stops her, warning that she cannot cross a certain line and enter the house.
A lady constable tells Nethra that someone is here to meet her. Nethra sees it’s Poorvi and refuses to meet her, citing the danger to her life. The constable assures her that neither she nor Poorvi can harm each other with the officers present, and leaves.
Harleen tells Khushi that she is only allowed in the house for festivals, as she’s Poorvi’s sister. Khushi apologizes for her past behavior and expresses regret for her mistakes. Harleen dismisses her apology, stating that Khushi had shown attitude earlier. Khushi again apologizes, acknowledging her wrongs and asking for forgiveness. Harleen refuses to accept her apology and tells her to leave. Harman calls Harleen, then turns to Khushi and says that after everything she’s done, it’s impossible for things to be normal so quickly. Khushi says she understands, but Dadu explains that they are not bad people but simply human, and the past is still painful. He acknowledges Poorvi’s good qualities, noting that she had been initially rejected by the family because of her connection to Khushi but has earned their love with her kindness, affection, and integrity. He says Poorvi has made a place for herself in their hearts and urges Khushi to move on with her life. He adds that they don’t need her sympathy or any new connection with her. Harman reiterates that they don’t want any ties with her and warns her not to stir up old wounds. He assures her not to feel bad, but signs for her to leave.
Poorvi confronts Nethra, accusing her of staging drama and conspiracies. Nethra asks why she’s here, and Poorvi says she came to uncover the truth, demanding that Nethra confess everything.
