Kumkum Bhagya 2nd January 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Vaishali asking Khushi why she has come here. Khushi apologizes, saying she is sorry. Vaishali replies that they won’t discuss the past, as the wound she caused is still painful, and even if it heals, it still hurts when touched. She tells her not to talk about the past and expresses her surprise at how Harleen allowed her to enter the house. Khushi acknowledges that Vaishali’s anger is justified and admits that she deserves it. She says she has apologized to everyone and now wants to apologize to Vaishali as well. She admits that what she did was wrong, that she had intended to leave the mandap, and she regrets it deeply. She asks Vaishali to forgive her. Just then, Harleen enters and asks who allowed Khushi inside. Harman explains that she came to meet RV, and he let her in, adding that he can explain the situation. He urges Khushi to go and meet RV, but Vaishali stops her. Harman tries to clarify, but Harleen insists that his mother, Beeji, will talk to him.
Poorvi steps out of the auto and calls Diya, who joins her. Poorvi asks if Nethra told Diya anything. Diya says no but knows that Poorvi has some information that Monisha is involved. Poorvi explains that there is a big conspiracy that must be uprooted and says that the entire family, especially RV, has suffered a lot. Diya reassures her, saying everything will be fine. Poorvi wonders how, as Nethra is refusing to speak the truth. Diya tells her that she believes in her and that Mata Rani will protect her family. Poorvi asks what she should do next, and just then, she gets a call from the PS. It’s Nethra, who says she wants to speak with Poorvi. Poorvi tells Diya that she is going to meet Nethra now, and they leave in the auto.
Jaswant sees Khushi and asks if she’s alright. She says she’s fine and explains that the tension between Harman and Harleen is normal in any marriage. She admits that it’s her bad luck that the incident came to light and that Armaan is a good husband who takes care of her. Jaswant says it’s good to have a supportive life partner. Khushi mentions that she came to meet RV, but he didn’t meet her. Jaswant says RV is away on a business meeting and hasn’t informed anyone. Khushi is concerned that RV is unwell, and Jaswant tells her to rest at home and move on in life. Khushi thanks him and leaves. Vaishali watches her leave, questioning Jaswant’s behavior.
Poorvi and Diya arrive at the PS. Nethra insists on speaking to Poorvi alone. Poorvi tells her to speak in front of Diya, but Diya agrees to step outside. Nethra asks Poorvi why she thought Nethra would tell her the truth, and Poorvi responds that Nethra called her for a reason. Nethra admits to telling Poorvi half the truth, adding that she will reveal the rest only after Poorvi frees her from the police station. Poorvi warns that Nethra only acts in her self-interest, and asks her to reveal what she wants. Nethra says the conspiracy involved Monisha, and she intends to expose her once she’s free. She says Poorvi must decide if she wants to help her.
Back at the house, Dadi tells Harman that they shouldn’t have any further connections with Khushi. She insists that they know the kind of woman Khushi is, and that her husband is the way he is because of her. Harleen agrees, saying no woman should ever have such a husband, one who is a destructor rather than a protector. She also acknowledges that Poorvi is different, taking care of the family and willing to sacrifice her life for them. Harleen insists that there is no comparison between Khushi and Poorvi, and she doesn’t want anyone to treat Khushi kindly. Dadi says that the family should remain united and that anyone who harms the family will be held accountable. Harman clarifies that he let Khushi in out of humanity, and if they don’t approve of his actions, he will stop being friendly toward her. Deepika overhears and is shocked.
Vaishali confronts Jaswant about his kind treatment of Khushi, and Jaswant responds that it was for humanity’s sake. Vaishali criticizes him, saying if he doesn’t act the same way, Harleen will not approve.
Monisha expresses frustration to Deepika, saying she can’t understand how the family is being so kind to Khushi. She recounts how they were almost left on the streets and how she helped RV get a job, which led to the Malhotra family’s success. She adds that she sees Khushi starting to win everyone’s hearts again and feels angry about it. Deepika tells Monisha that her imagination is too wild, but Monisha insists that RV still has feelings for Khushi. Deepika disagrees, but Monisha is determined, saying she cannot compete with Khushi.
Poorvi returns home, and Harman asks where she has been, mentioning that RV had called for her. Poorvi says she tried to return his call but couldn’t get through. Harman mentions that RV left for an important meeting, and Jaswant adds that he must have boarded a flight. Poorvi, however, worries that RV is unwell and shouldn’t have left. Dadi expresses concern that he should have informed her before going. Poorvi says he promised not to go, but he did anyway. Monisha comments that it was necessary for him to go, and Poorvi overreacted. Deepika adds that it wasn’t necessary to create a scene.
Monisha tells Deepika that both Poorvi and Diya are too dramatic. Harleen defends Poorvi, saying she wasn’t overreacting, and explains that she’s just worried about RV as his mother. She says RV cares deeply for Poorvi, and that’s why he protected her even at the cost of his own life. Harman agrees, adding that RV took a stab to save Poorvi. Harleen insists that Poorvi cares for RV in the same way and can bear anything happening to herself, but not to RV. She asks Deepika and Monisha not to trivialize the situation with their remarks. Vaishali points out that Poorvi saved RV from a major conspiracy and protected him from Nethra, which no one else could do. Dadi agrees, recalling that RV’s life was in danger. Jaswant adds that RV didn’t even care for his own safety when it came to Poorvi. Monisha, fuming with anger, realizes that the family has accepted Poorvi as RV’s wife and that her hopes of marrying RV have been dashed. Deepika and Vaishali watch Monisha’s angry reaction.
