Kumkum Bhagya 24th December 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Jassi confronting Nethra, accusing her of being responsible for Sahil’s murder and asking if she had planned his death. Nethra denies the accusation, stating that it’s not true. Jassi insists that if she wants proof against Nethra, she has to let her go, saying she didn’t do anything except talk. She proposes a deal: in exchange for her freedom, she will provide proof against Nethra. Poorvi agrees to the deal. Jassi then plays a recording where Nethra admits to Jassi that she orchestrated Sahil’s murder. Nethra explains that she made sure Sahil would learn about RV and her meeting, knowing he would confront RV and tell him the truth, which would anger RV. She says Sahil was a person who could anger anyone, and she knew what would happen when RV got angry. Jassi points out that Nethra had planned his murder, and Nethra admits to it, revealing her motives.
RV becomes furious and says that he respects women, that they are delicate and sensitive, but Nethra is not just cunning but also a betrayer and cheater capable of killing anyone. He reminds her that she didn’t even leave her boyfriend who once loved her. He adds that Dadi was right when she said she was a disgrace to womanhood. RV continues, expressing how Nethra has played with many lives and ruined his name and character. He had kept quiet all this time for the sake of his family, sacrificing himself by going along with the marriage. He thanks Poorvi for revealing Nethra’s true nature and showing everyone who she really is. RV says that if Nethra were a man, he would never have let her go unpunished.
Harleen tries to calm RV down, but Poorvi tells the inspector that there is enough proof to arrest Nethra. The inspector agrees and instructs the constable to arrest her. Nethra, however, declares that nobody can arrest her and runs upstairs. Jassi urges the police to catch her, but Nethra crashes into a table, knocking a knife out of a basket. She picks it up and descends the stairs, holding the knife and threatening everyone to step back. She declares that she will not leave anyone alive if they don’t let her go.
Poorvi urges Nethra not to do this, warning her that she will regret it. Nethra insists that they will all regret it, stating that she still believes she can win. Poorvi throws a file at her knife, causing Nethra to drop it. However, Nethra picks the knife up again and holds Poorvi at knifepoint, blaming her for stopping her marriage and ruining her plans. RV orders Nethra to let Poorvi go, but she insists that Poorvi has become a curse in her life, vowing not to leave her alive. Poorvi manages to push Nethra and runs to safety. Harman asks if Poorvi is alright. Nethra charges towards Poorvi, attempting to stab her, but RV steps in front of Poorvi and is stabbed in the stomach instead. Nethra removes the knife, and RV holds it while glaring at her. Just as Nethra is about to stab him again, the police arrive and arrest her.
Everyone rushes to RV’s side. Harman and Harleen instruct someone to call for an ambulance. Khushi, in shock, recalls RV sacrificing himself to save Poorvi, thinking about Armaan’s harsh words telling her to keep her distance.
Harman, Harleen, Monisha, and Khushi rush RV to the hospital. A nurse asks if the FIR has been filed. Harleen replies that they will do it and demands that RV be admitted immediately. Monisha argues with the nurse, saying that RV’s life is more important than the paperwork. The doctor arrives, irritated by the commotion, and insists that he can’t treat RV without the FIR. The nurse tells them that they haven’t filed it yet. Harman explains there’s no time to go to the police station right now. Monisha urges the doctor to treat him, but he refuses unless the FIR is filed. She begs him to save RV’s life, but the doctor remains firm, citing legal procedures.
Harleen promises that her son won’t die and threatens anyone who dares to let it happen. Poorvi arrives, breathless, and hands the doctor a copy of the FIR. She tells Harman that she went to the police station herself to get the FIR, knowing they wouldn’t treat RV without it. She pleads with the doctor, reminding him of the oath he took to save lives. The nurse tells them that the emergency room is vacant. The doctor agrees to treat RV and instructs them to check on him. Monisha tries to follow but stumbles, injuring herself. Harleen helps her.
As RV is being treated, Poorvi and Khushi stand together. Khushi comments that RV is a nice person. Poorvi agrees, saying that RV is a good man, and reflects on how he has risked his life for her. She wonders what it would be like if RV loved someone. Khushi recalls a conversation she had with a friend, where she mentioned RV’s hatred for her sister, but her friend insisted that his hatred was actually love. Khushi’s eyes fill with tears as she thinks about this.
Poorvi notices Khushi’s distress and asks what’s wrong, but Khushi dismisses it. The doctor soon returns and asks them to arrange for A-positive blood. He tells them to check with RV’s family. Poorvi asks Khushi to stay with RV while she arranges for the blood. Khushi reflects on RV’s actions, thinking about how much he cared for Poorvi. Meanwhile, Poorvi calls Armaan to check if he has A-positive blood. He confirms that his blood type is different and says he’ll check with his office. He reassures her that nothing will happen to RV and asks about Khushi. Poorvi tells him that she’s there, and the call ends. Armaan then tries to call Khushi, but her phone is unreachable, and he becomes frustrated.
Khushi recalls RV offering her biscuits with tea, and how she gave them to the couple sitting nearby instead, making faces. She also remembers when RV took care of her after her accident, and how he had explained the importance of life. She now reflects on his words, realizing the depth of his care for others.
