Kumkum Bhagya 23rd September 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Monisha calling Neha, asking where she is. Neha confidently tells her to wait and watch, promising a dramatic entry. Meanwhile, RV tries to talk to Poorvi, but she walks away, ignoring him. RV follows her. On the other side, Yug greets Diya, who coldly responds with a simple “hi” and walks off. Yug, sensing something is wrong, follows her and asks what’s going on. Diya, visibly upset, says everything is going wrong. She mentions the court hearing that took place just yesterday and now this sangeet ceremony. Yug tries to calm her down, reminding her that they had already anticipated these events and had decided to gather proof at court. Unfortunately, they didn’t find anything solid, and he feels that Diya’s sister did the right thing by not exposing Nethra’s profession in court.
Diya, still uneasy, asks him why he thinks that. Yug explains that even if her sister had mentioned it in court, they still lack evidence to prove Neha was lying, and everything was part of her scheme. He reassures Diya, saying they still have nine days to find the truth and that they’ll prove Neha isn’t the helpless girl she pretends to be. Diya begins to calm down, thanking him for making her understand, but she remains worried for Poorvi. She expresses concern that if Neha wins, it will be Poorvi’s greatest loss—she might lose her husband. Overwhelmed, she begins to cry, and Yug hugs her in an attempt to comfort her. Deepika sees them embracing and thinks to herself, “This is a big mistake; I need to tell Chachi.”
Meanwhile, RV finds Poorvi in the kitchen and asks why she’s ignoring him. He tries to hold her hand, but she pulls away, clearly upset. He recalls a past incident and senses something is wrong. RV, confused, asks her why she’s acting so distant. Poorvi brushes him off, saying she has a lot of work to do. RV insists, asking if her mood is because of something Maa said. Poorvi doesn’t respond immediately. RV says Maa scolded her earlier, and Poorvi confirms that it’s true, but it’s more than that—Maa isn’t just upset that Poorvi couldn’t fix things, she’s angry because she believes Poorvi is the reason RV is in this situation.
RV, trying to lighten the mood, says, “Whether you hit your foot on the hammer or the hammer on your foot, it’s the same thing. My Dadi always says that.” He adds, “Are you mad at me because of Maa?” Poorvi, surprised, says she would never take her anger out on him, but she admits she’s upset that Maa is disappointed in her. Poorvi explains that parents always want the best for their children, and she could never be angry with Maa because her intentions are good. RV, relieved, says, “So you’re not mad at me, right?”
Poorvi, however, says Maa is angry because she announced RV’s wedding to Nethra, and Maa fears the worst. She then challenges RV, asking, “Why aren’t you angry with me? You should be! After all, you agreed to marry Nethra without thinking about how that would affect us.” RV, taken aback, reassures her, “I’m your husband, Poorvi. I’m supposed to support you.” Poorvi, tears in her eyes, asks, “But what happens after the wedding? You’ll no longer be my husband once you marry Nethra.”
RV, seeing her distress, tries to comfort her, saying, “You’re scolding me, but I should be the one crying. I’ve never seen anyone get so angry and cry at the same time!” He jokes lightly to ease the tension, but Poorvi, emotional, says she’s crying because she can’t bear the thought of losing him. She pleads with him to say something, but RV, at a loss for words, quietly leaves, clearly upset. Poorvi, realizing he’s hurt, runs after him.
Meanwhile, Vaishali approaches Harleen, who is visibly upset. Vaishali tries to console her, but Harleen insists that she will stay and pretend to be happy for Nethra’s arrival. Vaishali tries to offer some comfort, but Harleen tells her to leave her alone. Just then, Deepika arrives, warning Vaishali that she should worry more about herself. Vaishali, confused, asks what she means. Deepika, eager to stir up trouble, reveals that she saw Yug and Diya hugging earlier, implying that something inappropriate is happening between them. Vaishali, shocked and concerned, asks where they are. Deepika, satisfied with the chaos she’s caused, points her in the right direction.
Yug and Diya, oblivious to the drama unfolding, talk things out. Diya, feeling better, smiles and says, “It looks like Poorvi and RV had a fight.” Yug, teasing her, says, “You were so sad just a while ago.” Diya laughs, explaining that seeing Poorvi and RV fight actually reassures her, because it shows there’s love between them. Yug, still skeptical, asks, “What does love have to do with fighting?” Diya smiles and says, “When two people care enough to argue, it shows they love each other.” Yug chuckles and says, “Well, they are married.” Vaishali suddenly interrupts, calling for Yug.
Meanwhile, Poorvi, chasing after RV, is stopped by Monisha. Monisha, ever the troublemaker, asks why RV is upset. Poorvi brushes her off, saying it’s just a small issue. Monisha, clearly trying to provoke her, says, “You’re nothing to RV. The truth is, he doesn’t care whether he marries Nethra or someone else.” Poorvi, not having it, fires back, “And why are you interfering in my marriage? If I’m nothing, then you’re even less than that to him.” Monisha, undeterred, says, “You’ll see. After he marries Nethra, their marriage will fall apart, and RV will come back to me.” Poorvi glares at her, but their argument is cut short by the sound of dhols.
Neha makes a grand entry, dancing with the band. She dramatically lifts her veil, saying, “This is what you call a heroine’s entry! My parents aren’t here, so I had to make my own grand entrance.” She calls for everyone to join in the celebration, determined to make the day memorable. As the family watches in disbelief, Sahil arrives disguised as a dhol player. Neha, still dancing, approaches RV and declares, “This bride will make her groom dance too!” The NGO women also arrive, demanding the dhol players to keep the celebration going.
