Kumkum Bhagya 22nd January 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode starts with Monisha telling Poorvi that she will learn not to trust people who can be bought. She says she asked for 20 lakhs and slapped 50 lakhs on her face, and she greedily accepted it, leaving your team and joining mine, revealing everything. She says Nethra went, but what to do, you’re still stuck with me. She adds that the problem is, you know everything. She declares Poorvi will die, and Nethra will be blamed, as she’ll be with her in the fire. The best part, she says, will be Poorvi’s death. She then pulls her chair back.
RV runs after Jassi, asking him to stop. Jassi points a gun at him and says they have a feud, but today he’s not in the mood. Jassi collapses. RV catches him and beats him for causing trouble for Poorvi. Diya and Khushi witness the altercation. Soon, everyone gathers. Jassi manages to hit RV and escapes. RV tells the Inspector to capture him. Jassi shoots at the lady Inspector and flees. RV, Khushi, and Diya chase after him.
Monisha holds up a bottle of kerosene oil, saying she has been planning this day, and now it’s here—she’ll be rid of Poorvi. She pours kerosene around her, declaring Poorvi will die and be finished. She claims everyone will believe that Nethra caused the danger, and no one will suspect Monisha. She says she will always stay ten steps ahead. Monisha reminds Poorvi that she told her to stay away from RV and her life, but Poorvi will die on the auspicious day of Lohri. While the world celebrates the festival, she will burn Poorvi, rebuild her life, and get her RV back. She wonders aloud if Lohri should be celebrated with a little drama, and then screams for help, saying Poorvi is trying to kill her. Everyone rushes to save Monisha.
Khushi asks Jassi to stop. He replies that he doesn’t want to harm anyone and tells her to leave. Khushi begs him to let Poorvi go, but Jassi insists she leave. Khushi says he can’t hurt her. Jassi mocks her, asking who will save her—her husband? Khushi confidently says RV will save her. Jassi taunts that RV will only save his wife. RV and Diya arrive. Khushi insists RV can’t bear to see her in pain and urges him to save her. RV steps forward and demands Jassi let her go, explaining that she is Poorvi’s sister. Khushi reassures him that RV will not let anything happen to her. She whispers to RV to push her and run, so he does. RV catches her and pulls her away from the fire. Khushi expresses her gratitude, saying, “I love you Rajvansh, you’ve saved me again, risking your life for me. I truly love you.” RV stands shocked, processing her confession. Diya approaches Khushi to check if she is okay. RV recalls everything, looking tense. Khushi approaches him.
Vaishali is stunned by what she just heard and hurries away. She bumps into Jaswant, telling him something has happened. She explains how Khushi was provoking Jassi to test if RV would save her. She says that when Jassi pushed her into the fire, RV rushed to her rescue, and what she saw next was unbelievable. Vaishali concludes that this situation isn’t right for them or Poorvi. She tells Jaswant that if she had to choose between Poorvi and Khushi, she would choose Poorvi. She knows Khushi understands her place with RV and that he is under her control, capable of doing anything to manipulate them. Meanwhile, Monisha tells everyone that Nethra has Poorvi tied up and is about to burn them. Everyone gathers outside and urges Nethra to open the door. Monisha smiles while Poorvi cries. Deepika wonders if Monisha is in trouble or if she is planning something. The group outside begs Nethra to open the door. Monisha claps and pretends to be beaten by Nethra, screaming for help. The group pleads for Nethra to let them go.
Monisha yells for help, telling Poorvi that everything is set and that it’s her time to die. Afterward, RV and Monisha will marry. She whispers to Poorvi that her death is necessary for her plan to succeed. Monisha declares one good thing will come out of this: Poorvi’s photo will hang in the room with a garland, and she will witness their wedding and romance from the afterlife. Monisha laughs maniacally, pretending to shout for help, and taunts Poorvi to cry as she dies alive. She then says, “Let’s burn you now. We’ll meet in the next birth, but I don’t think you’ll come in my way in any birth.” Poorvi strikes Monisha’s forehead with hers, and Monisha threatens to break her mouth but holds back, knowing Poorvi will soon be reduced to ashes. She reminds Poorvi of all their family members, but not RV, since he will be hers in the end.
