Kumkum Bhagya 20th January 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Khushi going to drink water when Monisha approaches her, reminding Khushi of her previous warning to stay away from RV and making comments about it. Monisha receives a call from Neha, who surprises her by revealing that she has escaped from jail. Neha demands ₹20 lakhs to help her remain free and insists that Monisha arrange the money. When Monisha refuses, Neha threatens to expose her at RV’s house. Monisha, fearing the consequences, reluctantly agrees and starts plotting to steal ₹25 lakhs that Vaishali has secured.
Harman checks with Vaishali about the money, and Vaishali reveals she has given it to Deepika, who has locked it in a secure locker. Deepika reassures Harman that the money is safe. Monisha overhears this conversation and quietly leaves, deciding to steal the money.
Meanwhile, Dadi notices that the dhol has stopped playing and asks Dadaji about it. He teases her, saying she should dance again if it resumes. Dadi, initially hesitant, eventually agrees to dance at everyone’s urging, later bantering with Dadaji about their playful relationship.
Later, Purvi talks to Khushi, who asks if she is happy in the house. Purvi hesitates but assures Khushi she is content, adding that being happy doesn’t mean having everything. Khushi then presses Purvi about her relationship with RV, asking if he loves her as a husband should. Purvi avoids answering directly and excuses herself when she receives a call.
Khushi then approaches Diya, seeking clarity about Purvi and RV’s relationship. Diya explains that although their relationship started off poorly, RV has changed and now genuinely cares for Purvi. She reminds Khushi of how RV risked his life to save Purvi. Khushi assumes RV’s actions were motivated by his feelings for her and leaves, deep in thought.
Purvi receives a call from the police, who inform her of Neha’s escape and warn that Neha believes Purvi and Monisha are working together. They also suspect Purvi because she was the only one aware of Neha’s trip to Pune. Purvi thanks the police for the information.
Meanwhile, Monisha attempts to open Deepika’s locker but fails. Determined, she plans to trick Deepika into revealing the password.
Khushi later apologizes to Purvi and asks for her forgiveness. As Khushi starts getting hiccups, RV remembers that sharing surprising or good news is the only way to stop her hiccups. He tells Khushi he loves her as his sister-in-law, given her bond with Purvi. Purvi questions how RV knows this trick, to which he replies that it’s common knowledge. Monisha observes this interaction from a distance and feels upset.
Desperate for the money, Monisha eventually coerces Deepika into giving her the password. While attempting to access the locker, Neha calls Monisha again, informing her that she has reached RV’s house and demanding the money. Monisha reassures her that the funds will be arranged and warns Neha to avoid being seen. Neha agrees, and Monisha seeks Jasbir’s help to resolve the situation.
